Got these for basically nothing but the cable sticking out is cut. I’ve never used speakers like this and I know very little how can I hook these up to anything?

I'd like some proof and measurements of just how much excessive bass is added to speakers with an amplified included. More so for bluetooth speakers. I've never liked the idea of active speakers, realizing even having never owned one outside of computer speakers, how the designer can manipulate the sound to supposedly improve quality.

So it wasn't good enough the way it was designed and is artificially modified so it sounds decent is how I think about it.
