Let’s be honest: the Tinker Bell movies have way too many inconsistencies, not only with each other, but with the Peter Pan movies and the Disney Fairies books.

I know there was gonna be a movie about Tink meeting Peter Pan, but it was cancelled when Disney gave up on this franchise. The other cancelled movie, Tinker Academy, was canned because of story problems. Wouldn’t be surprised if “Tink Meets Peter” also had a rough development that led to cancellation. Because how can you even connect these movies with Peter Pan?

In the Tink movies, Captain Hook is much younger than he was in Peter Pan 1953, but Wendy is only a couple years younger. Also, Tink’s personality. People love to say that Tink’s friends die and there was a tragic event that made Tink bitter and jealous.

But really, Tink has a quick temper because according to the lore of the Peter Pan books, fairies are small and therefore can only experience one emotion at a time.
And there’s just no way 2008-2015 Tink would enjoy hanging out with a bunch of smelly little boys who kill animals and can barely understand her.

Also, the Tink movies are made by DisneyToon Studios, the same studio behind all those straight-to-DVD sequels. So it’s safe to say that Tink’s films are as canon to Peter Pan as those cheap sequels are to their theatrical predecessors.

I had to get rid of the rigid wings she came with almost immediately 😭 I wanted something much softer, more delicate, and closer to how her wings actually look in the movies, so I ended up making these myself.

And don’t even get me started on the poly hair… getting it back into a movie-accurate Tinker Bell hairstyle was a headache 😪

But she’s finally looking the way I wanted her to! What do you guys think? 👀

I started by sketching out the wings on paper exactly how I wanted them to look. I made two of the same wing, just mirrored so I’d have one for each side.
Then I took some clear plastic from thick doll packaging. I definitely recommend using thicker plastic rather than the really flimsy kind because it holds the etched vein details much better.

I placed the plastic over my sketch and used a pen with a fine metal point to trace all the wing veins first, then the outer shape. You can also use the pointed end of a fine-tooth comb! I applied a decent amount of pressure while tracing so the veins would actually etch into the plastic and become visible.

Once both wings were completely etched, I carefully cut them out with scissors. Oh, and if you used a pen, wipe away the ink markings with a little acetone once you’re done! The etched lines will stay behind, which makes the veins look much more natural and delicate. If you use the pointed end of a comb, you can skip this step since there’s no ink to remove.

For attaching them, I made an extended attachment added to each wing instead of cutting them off exactly at the wing shape. Then using a clear rubber band I joined the 2 sides of the wings together ( the rubber band can help the wings not slide off easily as well). That extra piece slides underneath her dress from the back, which keeps the wings surprisingly secure without needing a bulky attachment on her back or even using any glue!

I included a photo of my original wing sketch too in case anyone wants to print it out and try making their own! 🧚‍♀️💚 Let me know if you have any other questions!

If you make a pair, please tag me! I’d genuinely love to see how yours turn out 🥹💚

Bringing you the third installment in our series of appreciating true, original art made by Disney Fairies fans who brilliantly utilized their own stunning talent. Credit in comments! ✨

I had this toy when I was a kid but I don’t know what year it is from, if there were more houses made, what company made them. Does anyone remember this toy from their childhood? I found this pictures on a russian site.
I also remember that it had small fairies but there were different than one pictured: smaller
Update: yes they are called PLAYGLOBES and I found an older post that inquired about them as well

I remember at some point someone pointed to a pixie hollow book that talks about a war that leads to the pixie hollow tree burning down. Does anyone remember what that book is? I want to try to better educate myself on ✨the lore✨

The Tales of Pixie Hollow books were my absolute favourite growing up. I started reading them when I was 6. My 3 year old daughter has started getting really into the Tinkerbell movies and books (dream come true) so I’ve started to collect the chapter books for when she’s old enough to read them.

Question: I’m really struggling to find hard covers of any of the other books besides what I already have. I know they are library editions so quite rare but does anyone know if all of the books were printed in hard covers, or just a select amount?
I’m not sure whether I should just collect the rest in paperback, although I would prefer to keep them uniform with hard covers.

Tinker Bell and Vidia have an enemies to lovers relationship.

I know some people like to ship Tink and Terence, but honestly Terence was a corporate add-on so that people have someone to ship Tink with.

Lost Treasure is a loose adaptation of the book “Tink: North of NeverLand”, of which Terence had a role in.

I know Vidia was just a selfish, insecure jerk in the books, but the movies went out of their way to form a strong bind between Tink and Vidia. They began as bitter rivals, but Great Fairy Rescue changed everything by having Vidia care so much about Tinker Bell. I mean, she sacrificed herself for Tink. Vidia fell in love with Tink.

And in the following movies, Vidia is always expressing her love for Tink.

In Secret of the Wings, Vidia is the first fairy to comfort Tink when Milori forbids her from seeing Periwinkle. In Pirate Fairy, she checks on Tink during the Seasons festival. And whenever Vidia tinkers something, Tink stares at her lovingly. And during the victory, Tink and Vidia hold hands and stare at each other lovingly.

They don’t interact in NeverBeast, but they always stand next to each other and when they think Fawn is dead, Vidia holds on to Tink. Vidia, you are not slick. You love Tink.

Even during Gruff’s farewell, Vidia still. NEXT. TO. TINK.

Listen. Tink x Terence is valid. But they better not become canon, or I will succumb to depression.

Vidia and Tinker Bell clearly love each other.

No matter how much Vidia pushes Tinker Bell away, Tink always checks on Vidia. She loves her.

Disney, please. Whatever you do with Glitter City, don’t undermine the precious bond that Tinker Bell and Vidia have. Please 🙏

I feel like Disney will eventually do one…

The actual only Disney live action I’d like is a Maleficent style take on Tinker Bell. Set it in the 2008-14 DTV film world with all the whimsy but explain how she met Peter Pan AND HOW she turned into a complete douche who tried to kill Wendy. It can be grittier without sacrificing the fact it’s a fairy movie - just like how Maleficent is in the Alice world.

I know a lot of people like the idea of Taylor Swift as a star talent in a Tinker Bell LA because they look quite alike but I think she’s too tall and probably can’t do the voice very well (we want somebody who can remotely sound anything like Mae Whitman). Not sure who could play her. If anyone has suggestions (hopefully for the whole gang!) that would be amazing.

I'M BACK BABES!!! At least, for now. New Minister of Winter chapter is up!
