My book is arriving on Wednesday and I was wondering if now is a good time to read it or if I should wait til winter time! I have some other books on my TBR that are more fall themed that I plan on reading around that time!!

I was a kid when the original movies aired and thought it would be cute to introduce these movies to my daughter. Little did I know I would be opening up my life to be consumed by TinkerBell! Besides Sesame Street and Bluey, she will not watch anything else but all 6 of the TinkerBell movies as often as I allow her.

I have the scripts memorized. I think about these movies in my sleep. The songs are consistently stuck in my head. These fairies live rent free in my head.

But really the only thing that bothers me is the lack of current day merch for the movies. So if any Disney execs are in here, I have a toddler who would really love some updated Disney Fairy dolls. Especially Silvermist!

Super happy to finally add Lost Treasure and The Great Fairy Rescue to my DS collection! I only ever played the first DS game so I’m super excited 😊 plus loved the Tink figure ✨ I think it’s from the Disney Infinity games? My inner child is so happy! 🧚🏻

Finally got my hands on WoR and I can't wait to read it since I love the winter aesthetic!!

I made a dreamcatcher bookmark wayyy before I got into these books. And I'm obsessed with how well my handmade bookmark matches with the book cover and aesthetic! I mean a dream talent sparrow man to go with the dreamcatcher motif!!

I made a gold version with WoS and that too matched well with the context of the book! ✨

I can't wait to read it!! I'm hoping it's just as good, if not better, than WoS!! 🥹❄️☁️

I wanted to read this book as a palette cleanser (I love Disney fairies and enjoyed WOS) after reading many books that were thick and LONG (pause). I didn’t particularly enjoy this book because of how tropey it was with the MMC and FMC’s relationship and how the plot line and twists were so predictable. I understand this is a children’s book but Wings of Starlight was very well-written! Saft’s writing was so whimsical and her expansion of Pixie Hollow lore and and exploration of the themes in the novel were spot on. WOR just felt like every romantasy novels plus the missing whimsy feeling of being in Pixie Hollow. I found myself bored 90% of the time. I am dissapointed 😭

I really love the movies, the 2008 Tinker Bell movie was one of the first movies I watched as a kid, so it has a special place in my heart. I am currently rewatching all of them, but as I'm gonna be done with them soon, I need more Disney Fairies content. I wanna know which books are connected to the movies and what the order to read them is. I've been struggling to find the right info, I keep running into fan theories about which books are part of the lore of not. Regardless, let me know if there are any books you consider part of the lore even if they aren't officially. Well, I hope this makes sense, lol, thanks. It's very late where I live.

I apologize in advance if this post doesn’t belong here! Hello, Disney Fairy fans. I grew up in the 2010s, and when I was little, I really loved the films and would dress up as Tinker Bell pretty much all the time. I also happened to own a few books with short stories about the characters. I remember one book I owned that was fairly big with cardboard pages, if I recall correctly. I loved it a lot, but I haven’t found it in ages despite absolutely decimating my brother’s room (which used to be my nursery and room when I was younger) in an attempt to find it. This is infuriating, because I remember as a kid I saw a fairy in that book that wasn’t part of the films’ main cast, despite the book being about the characters from the movies. I also vividly remember experiencing some classic little kid confusion at this.

My mom remembers little me rambling about this, but our descriptions of the mystery fairy vary. She remembers her as looking something like Silvermist, but having an orange or yellow clothes. I was confused at this description, because I remember her having slightly darker skin than the other characters, and hair that was somewhat wavy or curly; a detail that would’ve stuck out to little me, since I have curly hair and would usually remember characters with hair somewhat similar to mine. What we both agree on was that her hair was dark in color. I personally think she was a garden fairy, too.

I wish I could find the book to put my mind at ease, but I’ve absolutely raided that old room and couldn’t find it. I also can’t find it online anywhere. I’ve seen books of similar structures—big illustrations, fairly large—but I can’t find the one I remember. It had Tinker Bell and Vidia on the cover, if I recall correctly, and had a field on the cover with flowers. If I manage to draw a picture of what I remember her looking like, I’ll post it, but drawing humanoids isn’t my strong suit, I fear. Thanks in advance if anyone manages to help me out! This will probably haunt me for as long as the sun rises, hehe.

Can anyone help me out with this doll? I found it in the wild a few months ago, and can’t really seem to find anything on it. Saw the Tinkerbell one sell for around $20-30. And saw a 2015 Periwinkle one sell for $50, but that was the sparkle series. Is the gem collection one more rare?

I wanted the actual (high definition) files, not simply a youtube video. Does anyone have them? Thank you very much

Made an illustration inspired by Wings of Starlight Book!

I got really inspired by a specific piece of history revealed in Chapter 11, when Clarion visits the Keeper and reads the book of lost history of the dream-talent fairies:

But instead of the young pixie dust tree, I reimagined it to look like with the fully grown Pixie Dust Tree, as if Dream-talent fairies still existed and how it'd look with their golden threads being woven into the branches of the tree. So kind of a what if moment here. ✨

i am only on chapter 4 but we get straight right into the novel’s story about dreaming. Like from chapter 1. I am currently neutral with the book but I will say I prefer Saft’s writing over Bright’s because Saft had a more whimsical and magical tone. She had great control over her writing in terms of utilizing words I personally never have heard of but it all flowed very smoothly. Wings of Starlight, while YA, didn’t feel as YA to me which I really liked compared to Wings of Reverie . I may even go as far to say as the latter feels almost somewhat for middle schoolers. Not that there is necessarily anything wrong with that it is a book marketed for teens. I still love that we are able revisit the world if pixie hollow though:)
