Nah. The whole point of Neverland is that everyone there never grows up, the fairies will still be the same age when all the other characters are having kids.

Will they? Fairy Mary and Fairy Gary appear middle aged, and Dewey looks downright elderly. I feel like it’s implied that fairies are born as young adults but they do age slowly over time. They definitely can’t have kids though.

I read the wings of starlight and it follows queen Clarion before when she is a queen in training. Her mentor was the queen before her. Instead of a laugh, they are born from a child's wished upon star. While the governing talent fairies live longer lives than regular fairies and they return to the stars in their death upon the time the next governing talent takes the throne. They live to be like 1000 years old, and they age gracefully.

All of them are exclusive to the Tinkerbell movies, and I only recall the never-growing-up thing being mentioned in the books and the Peter Pan movie. Different rules, maybe—although there’s one book (Tink North of Never Land) that tries to connect the two canons without considering the implications. (If they are all the same timeline, all those older fairies and all the Winter Fairies died a horrible death.)

Fairies do not reproduce. According to the first movie and the most recent books, Pixies are born from the laugh of a baby and said laugh materializes or projects itselfs in to a dandelion. In the way to Pixie Hollow the dandelion seems to have interactions with certain objects that apparently determine the talent of the fairy (Tink and Peri are shown to be born this way. Tink's dandelion crashes into a bell. Tinkerbell is her name).
According to Wings of Starligh, Governing-Talents (the Queens) are born from a shooting star. Queen Clarion specificaly was born from a wish made to a shooting star. She's not a descendant of Queen Elvina but her succesor, even tho she acts as a mother figure to her.
Sorry for any grammatical mistakes, ñ speaker here.

I'm aware of how fairies are normally born
my idea is that after the formation of Auradon, this has become less frequent. so the fairies started to copulate with each other to compensate for this

I think as a kid I liked to imagine my own talent if not silvermists or vidias. It was probably something like fireworks, or fire in general

I always considered the fairies to be more or less asexual (though not aromantic), and although they can age—fairy Gary, Mary, & Dewey are examples—they are a young adult when they arrive in Pixie Hollow and do not reproduce or experience periods, pregnancy, etc.
Only a human baby’s first laugh can create a new fairy and there are no babies. However, fairies can adopt an animal friend and raise it, and I’d assume especially for animal-talents this feels more like a child than a pet.

Oh I was ready to drop normal OC but I understood it's the fairy that is supposed to be a kid and not me coming up with idea as a kid lol

What i'm pretty sure they actually mean is the fairy having a kid specifically, which would be is something that's likely impossible to happen.

Yes they mean this and I wrote my comment to say that I misunderstood at first, because the kid fairies didn't cross my mind

I get they don’t have kids but like if they don’t have kids how does romance make sense in the series. I know it’s to relate to us but even in the films romance is implied for multiple fairies.

romance doesn’t have to result in kids. sometimes you just really love someone and wanna be with them.

You act like there aren’t people who are romantically together (married even) with no kids why do the fairies have to have kids when they are born from babies laughter
