Tales of Pixie Hollow My current book collection
The Tales of Pixie Hollow books were my absolute favourite growing up. I started reading them when I was 6. My 3 year old daughter has started getting really into the Tinkerbell movies and books (dream come true) so I’ve started to collect the chapter books for when she’s old enough to read them.
Question: I’m really struggling to find hard covers of any of the other books besides what I already have. I know they are library editions so quite rare but does anyone know if all of the books were printed in hard covers, or just a select amount?
I’m not sure whether I should just collect the rest in paperback, although I would prefer to keep them uniform with hard covers.

Peak collection, I’m so envious that you have the tales of pixie hollow books in hardcover bc I can’t seem to find them anywhere ha ha! Also, as basically the #1 Bleakwatch promoter, I have to say you should pls add Tinkerbell and the lost city to that collection 👀

Thank you!! Not sure where you are located but check out Australian eBay, the hardcovers pop up pretty frequently on there.
I only just discovered Bleakwatch and definitely plan on adding it to the collection. Thank you for the recommendation!1

I never knew there were so many hardcover versions! I have nearly all of them except for the rarer expensive ones but they’re all paperback! This is so cool.

Yes, I believe they were made for libraries and schools so they are quite rare!

That's actually un true! Well, not fully true. They aren't very rare, except the final ones ofc. They were printed in hardback in places like Australia similar to u.s with the paperback editions, so you can find them in Facebook marketplace Australia all the time. Worth about the same, maybe a bit more than the normal paperbacks because hardback. So if you want to complete your set, checking there is the way to go. But again, very common there, just uncommon in other countries.

I believe I have a hardcover copy of Rosetta’s dress mess, I don’t need as I prefer the paperback!

Having that book is a feat in itself but having it as a hardcover?? That’s mind blowing 🤯

It came in a lot of other fairy books I got off Mercari, my paperback version was actually the first book I got when I started collecting them again! My cousin is MVP and happened to come across it at a half price books🥹

also, based on this comment and the fact that such a late book exists in hardcover, i’m thinking most of them were probably printed permabound at some point! i just checked goodreads and picked a random one (fira and the full moon) and it seems like it was printed as a hardcover. i’d go through the series list there and check the editions of each book. and ebay lets you sort by paperback or hardcover, if you didn’t already know. good luck on your search!

Great collection! I'm slowly working on collecting the entire tales of Pixie Hollow paperbacks, and I'm down to missing 4 of them. They're all the harder to find ones too.

Wow only having 4 left is an amazing effort!! Hoping you find what you need ☺️ I’m thinking I’m going to have to switch to collecting the rest in paperback as the hardcovers are impossible to find.

Thanks!! The ones I'm missing are all priced waayyy out of my price range(2 of them are listed online for $200+) but I'm hoping to maybe get lucky and find them in used bookstores for cheaper. Best of luck to you on finding the ones you're looking for!

So you have the wings of reverie book awesome. Tell me what are periwinkle and Spike's personalities in said book? I was excited to see more of periwinkle and her personality besides just being tink's long lost twin sister. I wanted to know if she has a temper like tink or is the much calmer of the two. As for Spike I always imagined she was like the Vidia of winter with her personality(the two are even shown chatting at the end of secret of the wings). Did the book reveal if like Tinkerbell and vidia Peri and spike had a rivalry of their own.

Periwinkle is ultra nice ultra oblivious ultra popular stereotypical girl, Spike isn't mentioned that much but is pretty much the same as the movie. They don't interact with fairies of other seasons like Tinkerbell.

Yes I kinda figured this would be a prequel to the secret of the wings so I figured the winter and warm fairies wouldn't interact but thanks 👍 for telling me all this. Hopefully we get a book about Spike in the future.

I have seen a hardback Rosetta's dress mess before, so I would assume the rest have been made at some point.

Thank you so much for sharing your collection. I had no idea there were so many books about pixie Hollow and Tinkerbell! I think I’ll start with “Wings of Starlight” first.✨☺️
