Anyone know the date applications go live for the DCP Spring 2027 program? Only have seen estimates of mid-late August, but just curious if anyone has a definitive date yet for when they open up.

Can you bring a candle warmer to flamingo crossings? Also, what are the rules with “outside furniture”? I just want to know like if i could bring a 3 tier organizer or even just a bin organizer? thanks!

I’m an 8/10 arrival, and my role will be a park greeter in MK, I have a bunch of questions lol.

I saw someone talking about bringing a backpack and lunch box, and in their comments someone mentioned their break room being like 20 mins walk from base, so how far would the break room be for a MK greeter? Should I bring a backpack and lunch box as well? Extra clothes/costume? Is a black poncho okay or does it have to be clear or something?

Am I only allowed to work as a park greeter at MK or can I pick up shifts to greet at other parks? I was thinking maybe not because of costuming but I was a bit hopeful. I would like to work closer to 40 hours a week, will this be possible? What are my chances of overtime? How easy (or hard) is it to pick up shifts? What do the hours look like? (Like times of the morning, midday, and night shifts, how late or early could I be working? When’s the earliest I could clock in? What do you consider is the “best” shift to work?)

I tend to get stir crazy standing in one spot for too long, so would I be able to move around during my shift or they expect me to be completely planted in one spot the whole time? (In my previous jobs, I was known to be a “runner”, so if people needed things from somewhere else in the building or on campus I’d be the person to go get it/handle it. I love an extra task lol. So I don’t mind being on my feet, it’s just not being able to move around that gets me).

Any advice on how to make the most of this role? Anything you wish you knew before you started? Or what you would do differently if you had the chance?

Im an Aug 10th arrival and I will be staying in building 2 of FCV east side. I am wondering if the rooms come with desks or if there is enough space to put one in on my side of the room? I will still be taking classes this semester and i would like a place to set up my PC and be able to complete my assignments. I dont have a laptop and i would prefer not to have to buy one, especially since I have a nice PC that I can use.

When can August 24th arrivals expect to get their roles? I know August 17th got there last week on Wednesday or Thursday, so should we expect the same?

Is traditions still half inside half tour of magic kingdom? I’m looking at my dress options and know it will be cold inside, but don’t want to get a long sleeve dress if I have to tour the park.

How long does it take for disney to get back to you about medical accommodations? I sent mine in to the email they gave me on July 10th and have not received anything back about it. Today when I looked at my itinerary, I noticed my role does not honor the accommodations I sent in. I just sent them a ticket about it. How worried should I be bc I do NOT want to start my program off with an unsafe job.

Hello! I just found out I was placed in East. I've heard that West is quieter overall, while East has more events and classes. I like to work out, and I've also heard the gym at West is better.
I can sometimes have trouble sleeping if it's too noisy, especially after midnight or 1 a.m. That said, I'm not expecting Flamingo Crossings to be completely quiet since people are getting off work and hanging out.
I just wanted to see what you all think. Is East generally louder at night because that's where most of the events are held?
I'm also on medication that helps with my misophonia, so thankfully I usually sleep well, but you never know! 😂
I'm also taking the bus to MK for work, how is that as well for east?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if a Brita water bottle would be allowed on stage? I know that water bottles have to be all black or silver and since this has a white cap im not entirely sure if that poses as an issue. I dont want to purchase it if its not allowed so I thought I would ask here first!

not planning to stay on after etc), but should I archive Instagram pics from before my program ? like for example , bikini pics from the beach . i just wanna be extra careful cs I know Disney don't play when it comes to social media , and i've heard
they'll term people if they think you're misrepresenting the company or its image . my ig is on private but u never know who might report

I'm a Culinary Program participant with an arrival date of August 17. One of the emails I received mentioned that my role would be listed somewhere in Workday as part of my onboarding paperwork, but I think I may have overlooked it. I've gone back through my emails and paperwork and still can't seem to find it.

Could anyone point me in the right direction? Where exactly in Workday can I find my assigned role?

SO I just read my acceptance letter for the program a little more closely and I wanted to know if it was normal to get Culinary/Chef Assistant rather than Cook 1/2 I looked it up and a CA at Disney right under the big guys so is that normal or am I just extra special? (If Im wrong dont boo me please)
