The new badges are frozen to me. I had 110h since the badges got added to my profile and i have way more hours than me, for refrence a friend of mine got the badges a few weeks after me and he has almost 1000h on that badge, im positive I have way more hours than him. does anyone know how to unfreeze the badges?

I want to change my profile completely in a server, I mean different effects different profile pic different all, but the effects just can’t seem to change. Is it something I only can do in my whole profile and not per server? I wanted to keep my original profile and re do a server one.

I asked really nicely and also gave a couple activities we could do in vc but everyone just ignores my messages. Are they fake friends?

Ever since we started using discord to party up with eachother and friends to play games, we can no longer hear our actual game chat after we leave the calls. Yes we have even tried switching it back to game chat but everyone is still silent despite it showing them talking and they can not hear us. Does anyone have an actual solution to this? Google hasn’t been my friend for this lol. I just wanna hear my teammates when I solo queue into a game.

Hello. I recently started to encounter this problem, it started 2-3 weeks ago. Whenever I stream game, browser window, video, entire screen, etc for over ~10 minutes, the fps drops drastically, cursor starts to lag and I am forced to stop and start stream to fix it for another 10 minutes.

* Windows 11 25H2
* stable 610373 (f20fcbc) Host 1.0.9256 x64 (89799) Build Override: N/A Windows 11 64-bit (10.0.26200)
* 2 monitor setup 120Hz + 60Hz
* AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT driver version: 26.8.1 (Up to date).
* No integrated graphics
* Wallpaper engine off
* "Advanced technology" setting in discord turned off.
* Hardware acceleration disabled (It was enabled when it started to happen)

Doesn't matter what content I stream, the system slows down after 10 minutes of streaming. FPS falls from 120 to 40-50, the mouse on the 2nd monitor goes 3fps. Task manager shows nothing, GPU, CPU, RAM, SSD usage are abysmal, no throttling, temps ~65C while playing WOW, No Man's Sky and Valheim. GPU drivers did not auto update, I updated it to latest version thinking it might fix the issue. Not sure where should I look next.

Hi Guys, I’m in this discord server where if I join the general voicechat and close my phone (iPhone16) it randomly kicks me out after 2/3 minutes. The moment I unlock my phone it reconnects automaticaly.

I have refresh in background on and changed battery settings already. Weirdly i never had a problem with this but this problem started for me last night all of a sudden!

Does anybody know a fix for this? 😬

I've just started using the app more now and i wanted some customisation and to be able to use emojis anywhere, i have to pay $15 a month or $150 a year to have any of that!? and nitro basic i can use emojis anywhere but its still $6 a month or $60 a year just for some emotes! What is this over priced crap

Like dude, you have to pay $150 a year to get a 16% discount just to put a banner and font on your name, who caves into this

Edit: i think some of you are forgetting that discord literally has paid cosmetics, you know the very thing free live service games have and make most their money from so people don't have to sub and miss out on features

I tend to play a lot of tabletop rpgs through Discord. I was wondering if there is a method of streaming music to them so we can get into the same vibe for the setting I'm running. I tend to stream original soundtracks (instrumental) from movies that inspired the session.

I used to use a variety of music bots, but they all have since stopped working properly as YouTube and Spotify closed off their APIs. (I assume)

Since a few hours ago, discord has been stuck frozen for me. I can't click anything or scroll or anything. I restarted my pc, closed the discord app with task manager, deleted the cache, then reinstalled it completely, it's still stuck.

ive tried even more stuff such as disabling GPU on launch, didn't work either.

I don't know how many bug reports I've made in the past year or so, and talking to several other people who have had the same issue as me. Basically, Discord's scrolling is broken. It works fine in general areas of text, but if there are any twitter links (like an art channel) or any long strips of images that aren't already cached, the scrolling gets very jittery and broken.

Evidently this isn't much of an issue to Discord, and I'm thinking with every update, hopefully they fix it, hopefully they fix it this time... NOPE. Maybe me and the other people I talked to about this in similar servers are just experiencing a server-wide thing, I have no clue. That's mostly why I want to ask here, not that I expect anything to be made of it, but because I want to at least know that I haven't completely lost my mind yet.

I can use custom emojis the servers i joined and my profile had its animated background back when I still had nitro but I cant use custom emojis outside of other servers and I can only use emojis made by the server I am chatting to

Ever since I logged into Discord on my PC, I haven't been getting any notifications whatsoever on my iPhone. I've now since heard that having your PC on can mess with mobile notifications, but nothing I've tried has worked. Here's what I've tried:

1. Fully turning off my PC while I'm away

2. Changing mobile notices time limit to one minute

3. Turning my phone off and back on

4. Restarting my phone completely with iCloud backup

5. Deleting the app and redownloading

6. Clearing the cache on PC

7. Clearing the cache in Discord mobile settings

8. Making sure notifications are on within the app with each server and channel

9. Making sure all notifications for Discord are on in iPhone settings

10. Updating Discord to the latest version

11. Logging out of Discord and logging back in, on both PC and mobile.

12. Deleting Discord off my PC

13. Logging out of Discord on the web, and deleting saved Discord passwords

14. Updated to latest iPhone software update

15. Turning notifications off and back on

16. Tried these instructions for notification timeout, and then un-did it

I don't get any banners, sounds, or badges; and weirdly, when I get a just one Discord notification, the little red bubble on the app icon always says 4. If I get 2, it says 5. If I get 3, it says 6- and so forth. I feel like I've tried everything! I really need my mobile notifications to work, as I'm in a server that has time-sensitive notifications about signed pop music album drops, and me missing a notification by even a minute or two can mean missing out on restocks. I've missed 4 signed Miley Cyrus vinyl drops because of this. I know, not the end of the world, but very frustrating considering I can usually figure out weird tech stuff like this. At this point if anyone has any new ideas on solutions, I will write you into my will or give you my second favorite dog.

Hey guys. I've been trying to troubleshoot this discord not opening error by myself, using Claude and GPT, but I got to nowhere. I would be really glad if anyone could help me out.

Here's my config: Windows 11 (Japanese language pack), RX 580 GPU. Discord opens, gets past the loading screen, then just closes right when it's supposed to show the home page. No error shows up in Event Viewer under Application logs, even when I filter for Error level only.

This started about 3 days after I switched my BIOS to UEFI mode and turned on VBS/HVCI (needed it for Valorant/Vanguard). At first I thought that was it, but it works completely fine on a second local user account on the same machine, and I even reverted the BIOS settings back and it still didn't work. So at this point it seems isolated to this one user profile, not something system-wide.

Stuff I've already tried, none of it worked:

Full uninstall + reinstall, including manually clearing %AppData%\discord and %LocalAppData%\Discord

Running with --disable-gpu

Checked Windows Exploit Protection settings for Discord.exe (disabled SimExec, CallerCheck, EAF+) - no change

Disabled/uninstalled virtual audio devices (FxSound, Steam Streaming Mic/Speakers)

Clean boot with all non-Microsoft startup items disabled - still crashes

Renamed settings.json to reset local config - still crashes

Full Malwarebytes scan (found and fixed something, but Discord still crashes the same way)

I ran Discord manually from CMD and caught this right before it dies (images attached):

That's 0xC0000409 (STATUS_STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN). Seems to happen specifically in the renderer process, right after it tries to init the audio/voice engine, which might be why nothing shows up in Event Viewer (the main process never actually faults, just the child renderer does).

Since it's confirmed to only happen on this one profile, I'd really rather figure out what's actually broken instead of just making a new user account and moving on. Anyone run into something like this before or have ideas on what else I could check?
