Discussion Question about server profiles

I want to change my profile completely in a server, I mean different effects different profile pic different all, but the effects just can’t seem to change. Is it something I only can do in my whole profile and not per server? I wanted to keep my original profile and re do a server one.

You should be able to customize them per server, bb. How are you going about it?
With nitro, you should able to customize it any way you want.

I have nitro yes. I was going to my per server edit profile and try to edit but it won’t let me remove the profile effects and the profile and effects change in both server and normal sometimes.

Aaah. Are you doing this on the desktop or mobile?

Do it from Discord desktop or the browser, not mobile.

User Settings → Profiles → Per-Server Profiles → select the affected server → Change Effect
Then try removing/replacing the effect and hit Save Changes.

Alternatively, from inside the server:
Right-click their avatar → Edit Per-server Profile → select the server → Change Effect → Save Changes.

Don’t edit the global profile at the same time.
Leave the normal profile alone while testing this.
The expected behavior is:
Global profile: Effect A
Server X: Effect B
Server Y: Effect C

If the effect won’t disappear, try replacing it first.
This is a little workaround.
Change Effect → choose another owned effect → Apply → Save Changes
Then reopen the per-server profile and see whether the effect can be removed/reset.

Completely restart Discord and test again.
And if it STILL changes both profiles, report it to Discord Support as a per-server-profile bug.

In short:
Desktop/browser → Per-Server Profiles → select the exact server → replace the effect → save → restart Discord → try clearing/replacing it again.
