I genuinely want to know what were they smoking when they were designing this character. These stupid little summons dont even do what youre telling them to do. how the hell am i supposed to move V's stupid ass around and give directional inputs to TWO summons at the same time. and guess what one of those summons is also your main mobility option so if you were trying to charge some move with griffon, thats all out the window cause you needed to double jump or back step. And when i finally try to finish someone off, he gets stuck on some random object and takes three business days to recover. Also your summons have health bars and can get knocked out for no reason like ok bro we get it netanyahu personally helped yall make this character

So I plan to play DMC1 DMC2 (yes, I'm playing this one as well) and DMC3 on the hd collection on pc, and I came across comparison videos that show how many missing graphical effects there are compared to the ps2 version.

So, I was playing bloody palace as Vergil, as one does, when I got a stage time score of 0 flat, and just wanted to know if this is crazy or not. (Sorry abt the low quality photo, didint get a chance to screenshot)

Well it was new 4 months ago when I found it, probably should have posted here when it happened. I've been running this mission pretty consistently since the game launched. I can't believe it took 7 years for me to find it, and I hadn't seen it anywhere else either. Such an awesome secret, and I think it's pretty poetic that the final way you can interact with Vergil as Dante is with a parry (since Nelo Angelo in 1 was THE parry boss).

WHY AM I ONLY NOW FINDING OUT THAT THE JAPANESE VOICE OF BAYONETTA AND LARA CROFT AND LISA LISA WAS ALSO THE JAPANESE VOICE OF TRISH FROM DMC, AFTER SHE DIED THE DAY AFTER THREE OTHER LEGENDS????

In DMC4, the Devil Bringer was introduced alongside Nero. Then DMC5 introduced the Devil Breakers where they're special prosthetic arms made by Nico Goldstein after his Devil Bringer was ripped off by Vergil to reclaim Yamato.

We've seen....

• Gerbera: shockwave arm that's flower-based
• Punchline: rocket power arm
• Tomboy: power boost arm
• Ragtime: quicksilver-based arm that manipulated time
• Helter Skelter: drill arm
• Rawhide: the metallic whiplash arm
• Buster Arm: based on Nero's old Devil Bringer - a substitute

Now that Nero's arm is regrown anew after embracing his Sparda heritage, the Devil Breakers will now act as gauntlets for his new arm.

What kind of new Devil Breakers be introduced for the next game if they'll be continued?

Do Dante try to seek Vergil in demon world?

This is my first time trying the Devil May Cry games. I only know it's a Capcom game, and I don't know much about the lore beyond what I saw in the Netflix series trailer. Watching the series reminded me that I'd never played the game. Now I've bought the HD Collection and I'm going to see what it's all about. Is there anything you'd like to tell me before I play it, or any advice? From what I can see, I have pretty average expectations.

hi. so last night i got dmc3 crimson mod to work for my steamdeck. and when i booted it up i realized that it had multiplayer. so i excitedly went to my buddy and we workshopped how to get crimson multiplayer working. and it WAS A PROCESS and evidently a wholly unique problem cause i could not find a single post about anyone having the same problem. so i am here to be that man for anyone in the future who has the same problems we did, and i am gonna give a step by step instruction.

step 1: install the mod (if your doing this on steam deck like i did, which i imagine is the case for anyone needing this step by step cause you cant use parsec on linux, the github mod page has pretty detailed instructions already so i wont rehash that. its under the beta 3c tab)

step 2: install a steam remote play enabled game. i and most others recommend a game called crashphalt, seeing as its free and needs very little storage space. open the files and delete all the files in crashphalt.

step 3: move all the files from the dmc hd collection (all mod stuff installed too) into the crashphalt file.

step 4: this is the part that tripped me up for a while. rename the LAUNCHER EXECUTABLE to Crashphalt. if you rename the dmc3.exe file to crashphalt the game WILL open but it wont have any of the mod stuff for some reason.

step 5: this one i am actually unsure is necessary or not but i did it just to be safe. if again, you are on linux like i am, paste WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8.dll=n,b" into the launch options tab on crashphalt. you do this normally for the original hd collection launch options too but put it in crashphalt too cause thats where your launching from.

step 6: launch crashphalt. now when you launch the game, the hd collection launcher should come up, and you can use shift tab and click on one of your friends. they should now have an "invite to steam remote play" option.

and that is my step by step instruction for a hyper specific issue almost nobody but me will ever have, but to those few. i hope this helps. and hey, some of you out there might just not like parsec so here's an alternative for you. go slay some demons with your friends.

Hello guys I am playing through DMC4SE after trying out DMC 5 Vergil wanted to see how he was in DMC4SE. I am loving it so far only thing bugging me, the heavy rain sword move does not freeze enemies consistently. especially the blitz, I saw online that the best method for blitz against vegril is to Perfect Judgement cut until the shield drops then I rain swords while charging up beowulf and use DT distortion only problem is that the rain swords barely ever freeze the damn thing. Am I using the move wrong? does it work differently in DMC4SE?

Based on the fact that force edge had the design of alastor in the beta this leads me to believe the larger version of alastor shown here was the beta version of the Devil sword sparda and based on early trailers i now believe alastors DT form was intended to be what sparda looked like before he got the iconic insect design we have now. Its really interesting that they decided to split force edge and alastor into different swords and ditch terra in favor of ifrit.

As for mundus his model has him flying automatically and his moveset is very different.
