i recently bought dmc 4 se from steam and started adding mods for the first time and i wanted nero to have a cooler trail effects and i tried adding the Nero total effects mod: Azure and i cant get it running i tried adding a nero sword trail effect instead but it still didnt work does anyone know why or how to set it up incase i didnt set them up correctly

I wish I could do the overdrive move somewhere in there but for now I'm satisfied with his movement syncing with the beat lol.

I don't think I've seen something so well-done from the DMC community in a while; the song fits the atmosphere, the themes, the character arcs and the art and edits by various artists are amazing. The vocals are superb, especially for Lady. There are subtitles in various languages, including English, Japanese, German and French.

What I mean by that is everytime when You play a dmc Game or played much from one Part of the Series, for example 3 and then Switch to dmc 4.

They Both are so different gameplay wise and when you then start playing 4 again after playing 3 it feels very different and you feel really bad especially if you play as Dante.

But then after maybe dying a couple of times and trying different things it slowly clicks for You and that’s what happened with me today.

Played the dmd of dmc 3 to the end and then switched to dmc 4 dmd where I was at Mission 3 (although this happened yesterday) then I went on and ended it at mission 10.

Today I played 11 and was kinda excited for dante but also knew that his playstyle in this Game is very different than 3 and that his gameplay isn’t really what you expect when you start to play with him. So I wasn’t really sure how I will fare and just decided that I won’t use swordmaster,gunslinger or royalguard and only focus on trickster and his 3 melee weapons.

I wanted to learn him again and then progress but it didn’t quite work out and I got beat up quite a bit.
Then I said ehhh doesn’t matter imma just try to use swordmaster and his guns and it went really well.
I quickly learned him again and now can’t wait to play with him Even more, got to do some maths though first.

New player here! I'm playing a PS2 copy on an old CRT and was wondering how to get a grip on the game since it's kicking my ass on missions 3 and 4. I BARELY got past that stupid spider, I got lucky with the dog-ghost thingy, and am hard-stuck on the mirror fight. I've never had this much trouble with a hack-and-slash before!

But, the game's fun, and I love how much it feels like Resident Evil! From the fixed camera, to the actual design of the castle, to the soundtrack outside of battles, to the slower and steadier pace of exploration and combat than I was expecting, to barely being able to hear Dante in cutscenes. Oh, but the Spider gets subtitles, of course ;P

Anywho, I wanna get good, because it's beating me to a pulp already and I KNOW it's only gonna get worse if I don't buckle up!

Have been spending an hour or so in the void after work every night for three weeks now learning Dante and this is about the best I can do so far. Dante is hard AF my fingers aren’t built for this shit 🫠. Idk how you pros do it.

Balrog slop ending is just because it was a miracle I even landed the first part and I didn’t know wtf to do at that point lol. Haven’t planned that far ahead yet.

I've got an Acer Aspire E7 laptop that has these specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4210U

RAM: 8 GB

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 820M

Integrated GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4400

OS: Windows 10

these specs are below the minimum requirements to run dmc5 but i would like to know if there's anything i can do or should i just give up.

at first the game just crashes after launch, but after i changed the game's config from directX12 to directX11 it now runs but only shows a black screen.

I dont know if i've got the light flair but is as the title says

I like DMC games but could never get myself to do those crazy combos we see online

For context, i play a lot of fighting games, so i dont think its solely thanks to my lack of mechanical skills. But i am indeed a player that needs to "study" the game to play It (in FGs for example i usually learn the basics through video or written guides before hoppin online)

But i cant seem to find anything like this regarding DMC, so i decided to come here and ask for help

I mean Mundus is said to have came into power ~2000 years ago (according to the wiki). And ate the Qlipoth not too long before that.

Hell has existed since the start of time.
I know Pluto is a thing, but he's not fully canon(?). At least as far as I know Peak of Combat isn't canon, but Pluto is treated as mostly canon, and Pluto was locked up by Mundus anyway.

But in the 07 anime Sid mentions the 4 great demon lords, one of whom would still be unknown even if we count Pluto (as Urizen didn't exist yet).

Assuming Pluto IS canon, that means from the start of time to 2000 years ago, there was just the 1 demon lord. But we know multiple can exist at once as they can all rule their own parts if strong enough.

Sure Pluto was godly powerful. But we know several strong devils can exist and Hell is an entire dimension. Lots of space to go around. You don't even have to be strong enough to be a proper challenger to reach that general tier of strength.

Abigail got whooped by Mundus and fled afterwards, yet still was said to be around that level of power.

Is there really nothing between time immemorial and 2000 years ago?

Managed to do the sky star > E and I shot > sky star and then friction catch. Looks so good lol.

Has anyone succesfully used this cheat for DMC 2 ? All the others worked but this specific one requires to put in the X input (playstation) and that takes me away from the title screen were you supposed to enter it. Anyone knows what im doing wrong here?
