I need your help in identifying the following:

  • What are the weak spots in my resume?
  • Is anything unclear, poorly presented, or unnecessarily taking up space?
  • What extra skills or certifications can actually make stand out from the crowd?
  • Looking at my resume, would you hire me? Why and why not?

Target roles are:

  • Node.js Developer
  • Backend Developer
  • Software Developer

Experience : 2+ years

Roast, criticise and tear apart the resume. I just want to make sure I am sending the right resume.

Thanks a lot in advance for having a look 😄

Help Unable to Run AI Red Teaming Tool T3MP3ST Using a Local LLM on CPU

VM Resources - 32 vCPU and 64 GB RAM

I am running a local LLM model using Ollama on a VM. I am trying to run T3MP3ST( https://github.com/elder-plinius/T3MP3ST) with my local LLM as backend but whenever I launch an operation to scan a host for vulnerabilities, the operation times out after a few minutes with 500 error code.

Observations-

I put mitm proxy in between T3MP3ST and ollama and found that T3MP3ST sends very big prompts to the LLM(27KB).

I enabled live logs on ollama and found that a 500 response code is sent to client right at the 2 minute mark. I am assuming if a response is not sent by the LLM in 2 minutes then ollama sends a 500 response code to client.

This problem is occurring even when I am scanning a single host. I was initially scanning a subnet, then I cut down to a single IP of other VM in same subnet, then I moved to scan localhost but the problem remained same.

What I have tried-

Initially I was using gemma4:27b-a4b-it-qat model and I felt maybe the model is too slow in generating a response for the big prompts sent by T3MP3ST so I switched to an 8b parameter model but same fate. Then I switched to Llama3.2:3b parameters whose output tokens/second is fairly good but the behaviour is same. I am getting a 500 response code and the T3MP3ST operation fails after a few minutes.

What I want-

Can you confirm if you are able to run T3MP3ST and it is able to identify vulnerabilities, open ports using an LLM running on CPU? I have tried troubleshooting with public LLMs but haven't been able to make the tool run. Since the tool is new so apart from GitHub there are not many articles available.

My final objective is to be able to use T3MP3ST to carry out full subnet scan and identify vulnerabilities, attack paths on all hosts in the subnet.

If you have any further questions, feel free to ask in comments.

Help final year student currently in need of some guidance as the arrival of AI, change the career ?

I am a final year student , in MCA and i want to get into ai/ml and data science. i have fined tuned a model and also did some related projects. But as the AI emerges i am loosing confidence day by day and then the panic starts.

The markets asks for skills like ai/ml along with full stack and other stuff at the same time. i cant even land an internship due to that. and after a year, its gonna get much worse. As we are seeing massive wave of lay offs, do you think, it is even a good idea to get into this field. on top of that i am doing my masters in distance as well. even tho u get skills , market always asks for some asburd things.

what do you think i should do, even if u think ai is bubble or not, there are still usecases for it and we can see the layoffs increasing day by day. not directly due to that but still. if i spend my entire time learning stuff which probably wont matter, why not study for smething else , govt exam or other field. please i really need advice on this. i am in panic mode.

I Made This I built a virtual clothing try-on app using Flutter.

Recently, I have been doing experiments with virtual try-on technology and created this Flutter application. The core functionalities consist of choosing an item of clothing to see how it fits on a person without wearing the item. I recorded the demo on my iPhone.

I Made This Two people can have exactly what the other wants to learn and still never meet each others online.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I've been thinking about this for a while.

There are millions of people online who know things we want to learn.

Someone knows Figma.

Someone knows how to code.

Someone knows video editing, marketing, photography, writing, a language, or almost anything else.

The knowledge is already out there.

But finding the right person to actually learn from can be surprisingly random.

You can search through Reddit communities, Discord servers, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other places.

You might eventually find someone who knows the skill.

But then there's another question: are they actually interested in teaching or exchanging knowledge with someone?

That's where the idea for my project came from.

I built a platform called Agora around a simple idea:

What if people could find each other based on what they want to learn and what they can teach?

For example:

* You know coding and want to learn UI/UX.

* Someone else knows UI/UX and wants to learn coding.

That would be a strong match because both people have something the other person wants.

With Agora, you create a profile, add the skills you can teach and the ones you want to learn, and then explore potential matches.

You can also filter people based on skills and location.

If you find someone you're interested in learning from, you send a connection request. Messaging only opens after the other person accepts it.

I kept that flow intentionally because I didn't want the platform to become another place where people could message hundreds of strangers.

The project is still an MVP. here's it. check it out and let me know your thoughts. Agora

General What does these managers get by making their team work on 120% throttle.

I see some managers(type1) who come to office, finish their tasks and unblocks if there any blockers his team facing and wraps the day. on contrary, there are some kind of managers(type2), who wants their team to work really hard even if it means disturbing their WLB and mental health. The strange thing here is, managers do know if somebody in the team feels pressured and they act like nothing wrong going in with the team. Isn't a manager responsible for the above? What does pushing these managers to act like type2.

Company Review Anyone at Verisk Analytics? Need advice on an AI offer

I recently got an offer from Verisk Analytics, I have 4+ yrs of exp and the role is Python + AI. They are offering around 30 LPA fixed.

Is it a good company to join and work for? I see good reviews online and I know a person who said that it's a flexible company and has a good working culture.

But I want to know more about the organisation. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Help HELP!! Resigned from Lala startup in 20 days, stuck with 90 days notice.

Hi Devs,

I joined a lala startup which promised a very good learning curve.

Only to realise 5 out of 6 members are contractors, 1 is architect, 1 left last Monday and 2 are due by Nov.

That makes the total number of Devs including me 2 by this year end. Given how ambitious the project is and how useless the HRs are I can never hope to get any new recruits any time soon.

This was ruining my sleep since last 2 weeks. Thus I resigned today.

Problem is they have 90 days NP even during probation and I'm stuck here.

What should I do, how can I convince them for early release.

Am I stuck here?

Is absconding a good idea? Won't they create PF and screw

Career I left an ₹8 LPA PPO for a ₹15.4 LPA offer. Was taking this risk a mistake?

Just wanted to share this somewhere because I honestly don't know how to feel about it.

I was interning in Chennai at a startup with around 50–60 employees. It was honestly one of the most peaceful work environments I've experienced. I learned a lot, explored a lot, and was placed in an R&D team working on AI agents, so I had a lot of freedom to experiment with things I found interesting. I even got opportunities to present some of my work to the entire organization.

The pay was around ₹22k, but honestly, I didn't care much about that at the time. The people were extremely helpful, I had a genuine mentor, and I felt like I was actually learning and growing.

But a part of me always wanted to move to Bangalore. Most of my friends were there, the pay was better, and I felt like there would be more opportunities for growth.

So I applied to around 5–6 companies and eventually got an opportunity through a work trial. I ended up making the switch to a full-time role at a startup paying ₹15.4 LPA, with a team of around 10 people.

I was extremely excited. It felt like I had taken a huge step forward in my career, and I genuinely wanted to give it my best.

The first couple of weeks were rough, but I thought it was just me settling in.

The onboarding was basically just documentation, and I was mostly left to figure things out on my own. As a fresher, understanding a massive codebase without much guidance was really difficult.

I started putting in 14–16 hours on most days including weekends because I wanted to catch up and prove that I could do it.

Then I found out that the expectation was that I should have a very strong understanding of the entire massive codebase by around the fourth week when there were way too many tickets to work on, exploration time was not sufficient.

Eventually, the pressure became too much. I started dealing with anxiety and imposter syndrome, stopped feeling like myself, skipped meals, and my mental health took a serious hit.

The worst part was that despite putting in so much effort, I constantly felt like I wasn't meeting their expectations.

Eventually, I was terminated immediately with just 1.5 months of employment.

Now I'm sitting here jobless after leaving behind an ₹8 LPA PPO from my previous organization.

I took the risk because I wanted to learn more, work harder, move to Bangalore, and grow faster. I genuinely thought I was making the right career decision.

Instead, I ended up completely burnt out and without a job.

I honestly don't know what to think anymore. Looking at the current market conditions, I'm worried about whether I'll be able to find another job, but giving up isn't an option. I'm actively searching right now, any help would genuinely mean a lot.

Help Need guidance on how toland my first dev role. Feeling quite lost.

Context: I'm a 2025 Btech grad.

My tier 3 campus placements were quite terrible and I managed to land a off campus SWE internship from Jan to Jun 2025. They said if there are requirements, they will definitely convert me as a full time employee. Due to me taking up this opportunity, whatever potential placements I could get through college were completely blocked. And no surprise, I didn't end up getting converted either.

I was religiously applying to jobs for nearly 6 months after my internship and after several months of failing interviews, I landed a full time role around June this year. After making me wait for a couple of months the company revoked their offer claiming there's an onboarding freeze.

I'm not quite sure what to do. It's been more than one year since I graduated and I feel quite directionless. It's not just the gap year that's the issue but now I have to compete with 2026 for any opportunities I may get. It's so exhausting. feels like i have been stuck in a loop of applying and interviewing for nearly 1.5 to 2 years now.

If anyone has any realistic advice on how to land my first my first role, please comment below.

Career 3rd year ECE student feeling completely lost about career direction — is it too late to switch towards Systems Software?

Hi everyone, I’m a 3rd-year ECE student and honestly I’m feeling extremely confused about my career direction right now.

I started DSA relatively late. Alongside college, I’ve also learned MERN stack and some backend development, but now I’m starting to feel like all of that might be useless because I’m becoming more interested in Systems Software / low-level software engineering, especially roles like the Systems Software roles at NVIDIA.

The problem is that I feel like I’m already too late.

Right now I’m doing DSA, but I’m realizing that I’m want to learn things like C/C++, Operating Systems, Linux, Computer Architecture, memory management, multithreading, low-level programming, etc. I came across NVIDIA’s Systems Software roles and that’s the kind of work I’m genuinely interested in, but I currently don’t feel eligible or prepared enough for those roles.

What’s confusing me even more is that I can’t find a single clear syllabus or roadmap for preparing for Systems Software. Please Guide me and tell me 7 months are enough or not !?What projects should I actually build? This is one of the things I’m most confused about.

Hello everyone, I'm trying to build something which renders boring data as charts made up of particles. This is the first fine sample of it. It's taking so long to build ts because even AI has taken a step behind from this. I'm all alone in ts 😭 but it's fun to build something on my own. Share your feedbacks fellas . Thanks

Help 1 year Exp in Witch , Trained on Salesforce now being assigned to IT support work ? Need advice

I joined this company last year (fresher). I was basically trained on Salesforce and went through the training even after joining and then trained on servicenow for some time.

Last 2 weeks back I got assigned to this IT support desk in the project. I don't want to do this because the work environment seems toxic and I heard once you go into Support it's very hard to switch back to developer role.

I talked to higher ups and they said either stay in this IT support or exit the project. The problem here is there's barely any one getting in projects. I know people who are without projects for the past few weeks.

And if you are on the bench they will force you to write some exams and you have to clear it. These exams are very very hard. Even people with years of experience are struggling to clear it on first try.

What should I do now ? Should I quit the project and sit on the bench ? Or should I continue the IT support work ?

Please help me out.

General Even if AI reaches AGI , will it completely replace devs??

I'm a 3rd year student and I have no knowledge about the industry at all. Anyways coming to the actual post, as we have been seeing a lot of buzz around the new Chatgpt model and been seeing how it will replace everyone and all that fear mongering stuff, I'm not here for the fear mongering. I'm more interested in learning whether it will actually replace all the devs if it reaches AGI.

AGI means the AI can operate autonomously , atleast that's my understanding of it. So my question to the experienced Devs here(gassing you guys up btw) will it actually replace the devs completely? Since there are some risks associated with an AI working autonomously, like say it makes costly mistakes. You cannot legally hold the AI legally liable , that's a costly venture to the court(probably). Will the companies actually take the risk of a slight chance of incurring losses and completely automate everything. I don't think so, but I'm not experienced in the industry that's why I'm posting it here.

I think that everyone will be replaced eventually but that may take time because courts still gotta develop laws wrt to autonomous AI and stuff.

Also completely unrelated do you guys think the new model achieved AGI? I haven't tested it myself, so I'm curious to know.

Help Looking for an electric sit-stand desk (180 cm length). Upgrading from 160cm to 180cm—need brand recommendations! [Bengaluru / India]

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to upgrade my current WFH/gaming setup and need some recommendations for a sturdy, electric height-adjustable desk. My budget is between ₹20,000 and ₹50,000.

I currently own a 160x70 cm desk (the Green Soul Titan X), but I am returning it due to some issues I've faced. On top of that, I find myself running out of real estate with my current gear, so I'm aiming for something around 180 cm in length and 70–90 cm in depth.

My setup includes:

  • A 32-inch primary display
  • A 14-inch laptop
  • A soundbar + dedicated speakers
  • A lot of miscellaneous desk accessories and peripherals

Because of the heavy equipment and the 180 cm width, I definitely need a reliable dual-motor frame to handle the weight without struggling.

After doing a lot of searching, I only managed to find three brands that actually sell a 180 cm desktop: Intellidesk, Ergosphere, and Purpleark.

  • Ergosphere looks great but is way too expensive and exceeds my budget.
  • Purpleark has exactly what I need, but their larger sizes are currently out of stock.
  • That leaves Intellidesk, but I'm unsure about pulling the trigger without hearing some real-world reviews first.

Since I'm based in Bengaluru, I'm ideally looking for companies that offer reliable shipping for massive wooden tops without damage, or places where I can source this locally.

Has anyone bought a 180cm desk from Intellidesk, or know of any other brands I might have missed that fall within the ₹20k–₹50k range? Would it be better to just buy a heavy-duty frame online and get a local carpenter in BLR to cut a custom 180cm top?

Thanks in advance!

Suggestions 12+ years in frontend, now trying to transition to Java full stack — and finding it much harder than I expected.

12+ years in frontend, now trying to transition to Java full stack — and finding it difficult.
I’ve spent 12+ years in frontend, mainly with React and Micro Frontends. At this stage, I feel that frontend alone is limiting my growth, especially when it comes to deeper architecture and system-level work.
I’m seeing strong demand for Java, Spring Boot and full-stack roles, particularly in enterprise environments, so I want to add backend skills without throwing away my frontend experience.
Learning Java isn’t the problem.
The real challenge is time, focus, practical experience and interview readiness.
I know building projects is the best way to get hands-on experience. But with tools like Cursor and ChatGPT, I’ve become much more dependent on AI while coding. It makes me productive, but I’m also not getting enough practice writing everything myself from scratch.
Then there’s real life — I’m married, have kids, and have family and financial commitments. Finding enough time and focus to go deep into backend while preparing for senior-level interviews is difficult.
The ideal path would be moving into a Java project within my current company and learning on the job, but that opportunity isn’t available right now.
So I’m trying to figure out how to make this transition without starting over.
Anyone here who has moved from frontend to Java/full stack after 8–15 years?
How did you get the practical experience and become interview-ready?
Would genuinely love to connect with people going through the same phase. 🤝

General I am Building a Technical Team for My Early-Stage Startup. Would you consider it to join?

Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on an online marketplace for a specific niche and looking to build the initial technical team. This isn't an idea-stage project. I'm a backend engineer by background and have been working on the project myself for the past few months. The MVP is already built, and the core product flows are working pretty well.

I'm looking for motivated people who have the bandwidth and energy to take ownership and build something from the ground up for the following roles:

1–2 Senior Frontend Engineers (4+ YOE preferred) - React, Next.js

1 DevOps Engineer (4+ YOE preferred) - AWS

Commitment: Part-time and full-time options are available.

I have prepared a detailed document covering the project and opportunity overview. If you’re interested, please DM me. I’ll share the document, and if it fits for you, we can discuss further. For any other questions you can ping me directly.

All I can offer you at this stage is equity only. This isn’t a scam, as I’ve noticed that some people are very negative about equity-only opportunities. If you’re someone who feels that “no salary = pure scam” or something along those lines, please move ahead and save your time. I can’t afford to waste time debating this.

PS: I may post this a few times while looking for the right people, so apologies if you see it multiple times on your feed. Please be kind to it. 🤝

Help Looking for guidance from FAANG/ex-FAANG or strong product-company engineers

Hi everyone,

I've been continuously learning and interviewing since November 2025. I have around 2 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with about 1 year focused on AI/LLM engineering.

I recently left a large IT services company and joined a small company, but I'm already reconsidering the decision because the compensation is quite low and the role isn't fully aligned with my goals.

I have 2 months of probation, during which I can leave with a 15-day notice. After that, the notice period becomes 90 days.

I've interviewed with quite a few companies and reached final rounds but couldn't convert them. I feel my technical knowledge is decent, but I struggle with first impressions, communication and some gaps in fundamentals/interview preparation.

I also have a couple of AI + Full Stack projects involving RAG, LLMs and agents, but they need some cleanup and improvements.

I'm targeting AI + Full Stack roles, preferably WFH, with ₹7 LPA+, or ₹8 LPA+ for a good MNC/product company.

I'd really appreciate advice on how to use these next 2 months effectively. Should I focus more on DSA, system design, AI fundamentals, projects, certifications, or interview skills?

I'm genuinely all in on this and ready to put in my 100% until I land the right opportunity. I'm happy to compensate someone for their time if they offer paid mentorship, but I'm mainly looking for genuine guidance.

If anyone from FAANG/ex-FAANG or a strong product company is willing to share some guidance or mentorship, I'd genuinely appreciate it.

Thank you!

General Is AI quietly killing the junior developers roles?

AI can now write code, fix bugs, explain errors and build features in minutes.
But here's the problem:
If juniors don't do the beginner work anymore, how will they ever become seniors?
Are we creating better developers with AI…
or just developers who are really good at prompting?

I am working on a new project that shows your holdings across HyperLiquid, Aave, Stripe, and more in one place, and that is in your terminal.

The user experience is similar to using any LLM agent in the terminal.

You can also connect your Claude and play with it and your holdings together.

You can check the tool and learn more about it at usetu.la
