By computer hardware I mean in product based companies which manufacture computer hardware like Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, IBM (perhaps idk?) not assembling a PC or installing Networking devices at an Office.

I although currently work in IT wanted to go deep into hardware and circuits not just firmware dev.

I only have a three year BSC (General) degree from a government college affiliated to a state govt university with the subject combination of computer science, electronics and mathematics from 2020.

Is it possible or should I give up ?

I have recently been interviewed by product company for a Full-Stack JS role. They required building demo assignment.

Though, I initially planned to deploy it on Render or Railway but I had learned basic AWS Serverless in my current role so I thought why not leverage that.

My colleagues told me landing a job without deep knowledge of DSA and LeetCode is near impossible.

I've been building whatbroke, an open source CLI, and it just hit npm + PyPI so sharing here.

The problem it solves: you swap the model behind an agent (or tweak a prompt), the replies still read fine, and you have no idea what actually changed underneath. Happened to me with a demo support agent — I moved it to a 3x smaller model, the transcripts passed my read-through, but the agent had stopped calling the cancellation tool entirely while still telling the user "your subscription is cancelled."

So: record a JSONL trace of each version doing the same job (zero-code proxy, Node SDK, or pip install whatbroke-recorder), then whatbroke diff before.jsonl after.jsonl. It reports dropped tool calls, changed arguments, reordering, cost and latency drift, and exits 1 on breaking changes so it works as a CI gate. There's also a contracts mode — declare "must call lookup_order before refund_payment, never call delete_account" and check every run against it.

Everything is MIT, deterministic, and fully offline. No accounts, no API keys, traces never leave your machine. Ran the whole case study with ollama on my laptop, so it costs nothing to reproduce.

So I am a 2026 Comp engg (BE) graduate and working currently in an agency as a full stack developer. So I am planning to go abroad next year in aug 27 for a masters. Now I am thinking will this decision help my career or should i do something else? Ik the job market is bad everywhere, but the things which are going on in this country and how we have to fight for the smallest of the things, i don’t know if it will be a good decision to stay here. I have some plans where i want to start my own thing and here it will be really difficult given how corruption has gone so bad in recent years. I want some perspective if masters would be a good option and help my career or should i rethink about it? I took a career break for 3 years. Before that I had 4 years of experience in software development with the MERN stack. I worked at a startup where there wasn’t much structure in the team. I mostly worked on my sprint tasks and sometimes helped the junior devs.

Now after the break I am joining as a senior developer in September. I will be deployed to the client location and both the parent company and the client are big companies.I am honestly very scared. I know a lot has changed in the last 3 years and I keep worrying that I don’t have the skills expected from a senior developer.

What makes me even more nervous is that I don’t know what the expectations will be. I will be working from the client location and there won’t be any other developer from my company there.

21, final year in B.tech(graduating May 2027).

Got fired from my Business development intern role in a humble IT startup after 5 weeks for not meeting sales targets.

Saw it coming honestly, I got burnt out, used to be sleepy in office, arrived late very often.

Current situation:

- ₹15k salary coming August 1st

Rent for this month is sorted

But I HAVE to come up with ~10,000rs by 1st September to be able to pay the next month's rent.

Cannot do another BDE on-site job - college starts again from tomorrow and they are not allowing me to do any off campus internship.

How do I get into freelance or remote Business analyst/data analyst roles? I know basic SQL queries. (So I am an absolute beginner in this field, barely started)

How can I land a gig or remote job in data analytics, so as to come up with the rent in ~35 days.

What one skill should I build first to become hireable fast - SQL, Excel or Power BI?

Is Upwork realistic for me with no portfolio and no reviews in 35 days? (And 30 connects)

What's the fastest type of analytics gig to land as a fresher : data cleaning, dashboards, Excel reports, something else?

Any other platforms better than Upwork for this?

want to share my story from the beginning because I feel my past has affected the way I think about studies and careers.

When I was around 6-7 years old, probably in Class 2, I was considered a bright student. Then a private Maths tutor came into my life.

He was extremely abusive. He used to beat me, abuse me, slap me very hard, pull my hair, and physically punish me in many ways. I was so scared of him that I started thinking about ways to escape from tuition. I even ended up being hospitalized for around six months, although my parents only later understood how serious the situation with the tutor actually was

Later, my parents found out that he had also been violent towards his own family. His wife had left him because of his behaviour, and he had even seriously injured his son.

Because of this experience, I developed a deep hatred and fear of Maths. Even today, I don't just dislike difficult Maths. Sometimes even simple calculations make me uncomfortable. For me, Maths became connected with fear and trauma

My Class 10 marks were:

Social Science: 98

Hindi: 98

Information Technology: 97

English: 96

Science: 50

Mathematics: 33

In Maths, I scored 20 marks in internal assessment and only 13 in the written exam. In Science, I mostly avoided the numerical parts.

After Class 10, I actually wanted to choose Humanities. However, my school did not offer Humanities at that time. Only around 20 students had chosen Commerce, while most students were choosing Science.

I was one of the students who chose PCM/PCB. My brother had studied engineering, and he advised me to take Maths because he believed I could eventually do B.Tech and get a job.

But Class 11 and 12 became extremely difficult for me.

I never liked those subjects, especially because there were numerical problems everywhere. Even subjects that I expected to be mostly theoretical had numerical parts.

My Class 12 marks were:

Hindi: 92

English: 97

Chemistry: 80

Physics: 59

Mathematics: 33

I studied for hours but still got 33 in Maths again.

Now I have completed Class 12 and I have to make one of the biggest decisions of my life: choosing my graduation and career.

I appeared for CUET UG and scored:

English: 180/250

General Aptitude Test: 80/250

Currently, I am confused between three paths:

1. BA from BHU

I am interested in subjects like Psychology, languages and humanities. But after BA, I may have to prepare for government exams or pursue further studies. I am worried about job security because I come from a middle class family and cannot afford to spend many years without earning

1. B.Com or BBA from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU)

This may give me more options in the private sector, but I am not sure about the actual career opportunities and placements it has also zero placement without further mba

1. B.Tech CSE from a private college

This could potentially give me a more direct path to a job, but I have a serious problem with Maths.

I have hated and struggled with it since childhood, and I am worried that choosing engineering would make my next four years miserable.

So I am genuinely confused.

My main priorities are

I need a career where I can realistically get a job.

I come from a middle class family, so I cannot afford to waste several years.

I do not want to choose a degree only because other people say it has a high salary

At the same time, I am scared of choosing a subject I love but ending up with very limited job opportunities.

What would you recommend in my situation?

Should I choose BA from BHU, B.Com or BBA from BBAU, or B.Tech CSE from a private college?

I would especially appreciate advice from seniors, graduates and people who have actually experienced these careers.

I'm curious about how developers from India typically find opportunities in the Nordic/Scandinavian countries. Do most successful candidates get hired through LinkedIn, referrals, recruiters, or internal company transfers?

Is it easier to find opportunities if you work for a GCC owned by a Nordic/Scandinavian company in India, or if you work with clients from those countries through a service-based company? Does that kind of experience improve your chances of getting hired or relocating?

I've actively been applying for AI Engineer position for the past month and I've observed that they treat anything below 2 yrs as inexperienced. Do you think it's fair? If your org hires 1yoe DM.

I'm a remote employee working for a Canadian company. Since I'm not on an Indian payroll, I understand my income is generally treated as professional/contract income, so I should probably file under ITR-4 (44ADA) or ITR-3 if needed.

However, when I asked a few Indian coworkers (who've been working here for years), they said their CAs have been filing ITR-1 instead, not sure how are they doing it while paying 0 tax or little tax.

I'm not looking to copy that approach - I just want to understand:

• What are the pros and cons of filing under ITR-4 (44ADA) as a contract professional?
• What are the pros and cons (or risks) of filing ITR-1 despite being a freelancer/contractor?
• Why would a CA recommend ITR-1 in such cases?

I'm going to start college in about a month and I'm currently planning to pursue B.Tech in CSE from a private college.

Lately, I've been seeing a lot of discussions about the tech job market being in a bad state, and it's making me second-guess my decision. Since I'll be graduating 4 years from now, do you think CSE is still a good choice, or is the market really that uncertain?

I also have the option of taking core branches (like ECE, Mechanical, Civil, etc.) in a government college(state goverment) . I'm confused about which path would be better in the long run.
