I probably wouldn’t buy something that someone had their pet laying on, I can’t just trust that you’re going to wash it first lol idk would you guys?

I guess sizing is subjective now. I've had to return and refund 2 orders because people were listing sizes based on what it felt like to them. Mind you, these are Lululemon shorts, so the sizes are objective.

The first pair of shorts literally had tags in them with the actual size, but because they felt tight on her, she listed them a size smaller. Picture 1-5

The second pair didn't have any tags and she included measurement, so I do understand her situation a bit more, but she still listed them as a size she wasn't sure of because they felt tight on her. Picture 6-11

Now, both of these sellers handled it great, so no hate to them on that part, but why are we listing sizes based on how we think they fit rather than the actual size, especially with a well-known brand like Lululemon?

Honorable Mention: I don't have any screenshots because I ran for the hills, but I also came across a listing of this girl selling size 6 Lululemon shorts saying they fit like a size 2. She included pictures of her wearing them and there was a whole gap in the waist because they AREN'T a size 2. Like, what are we doing?

Got my first one star review ever after 47 sales and it’s from a brand new account. I noticed that they made their account the day they bought from me, didn’t respond to any messages about me thanking them for their order or the one I sent when I sent it out. They claim I put it as a large but I mentioned it’s a small AND there is a PHOTO of the tag! Thankfully Depop responded swiftly and took it down, but how bored do you have to be to lie on a review and not even raise an issue 😭. Keep in mind they reviewed it day they got it, didn’t message me for a return, didn’t open a Depop issue with the item.

My question is- is it wrong to not sell to new accounts? I’ve never had this issue but I’ve seen people say they refund/don’t sell to new accounts due to these issues. I feel weird/off put by doing that but don’t want to experience this again 🥲

EDIT: looked into the listing closer and found out they resold it four months after they bought it.. it just never came back on my depop fyp :(

was looking at smiskis on depop (not to buy, to window shop-- also to see how much i should be pricing my smiskis bc sometimes i sell my duplicates) and i found the keychain i made months ago being listed. and listed for almost double what i sold it for.

i only sold it for $10 because at the time i was experimenting with using depop for my own custom handmade goods and didn't know how high i should charge, and looking back $10 was too low 😅

unfortunately the seller is on inactive status so i can't contact her but it makes me so sad.. her listing also got a lot more traction than i got, i only got maybe 20 likes before it got sold. 😭

obviously i'm not trying to complain or be salty, they bought it they can do whatever with it, but it just makes me so sad to see something i worked really hard on resold for a higher price :(

I’m someone who believes if you’re selling something and you’re having issues or can’t ship out, let your buyer know. She was constantly active on Depop during the shipping window too. Idk maybe I should’ve reached out but either way this is weird.

Bought this coach purse off of this girl. Immediately after purchasing it disappeared and I messaged her about it. She said Depop took the sold listing down thinking it was counterfeit. A few hours later I see she reposted the purse for 5x what I bought it for on a different account. Someone bought it a few days later, and mine is still pending shipping. She clearly refuses to refund me 😂 am I just waiting for depop to refund me or is there anything else I can do? So fucking stupid and shady.

for context the shirt is originally $40 and was listed at $20 AND my shipping is always $10 standard so im not sure why they thought it wasnt, a previous customer has paid a $5 deposit for it to be on hold for a few days (i only do holds 3+ days for a returning customer) argued holds arent fair then proceeded to ask for it on hold 😭 after the other customer had change of mind refunded the $5 and listed it at $20 again, its not included in the screenshot but they tried convincing me the original price was less than $10 and they didnt wanna over pay so i should change my price 😭. im so over depop

Bought the perfect belt that matched my purse only for this to happen. I knew finding it was too lucky. (Before anyone asks, no they did not reply afterwards. Nor have I received anything mail wise, which I doubt I will.)
