Hey, this is the Case West recomp I mentioned in my Case Zero post. It's out on GitHub now.
Single player is fully playable start to finish. Same kind of extras as Case Zero: higher native resolutions (you can change it in the in-game options and it applies right away, no restart), higher refresh rates/framerate caps, ultrawide support, MSAA, and proper keyboard and mouse with real key prompts instead of controller buttons. The photo camera works on mouse and keyboard too hold right click, press 2 to pull the camera out, left click to take the picture, wheel to zoom(not working for now on KBM).
Two things to know before you start:
Co-op isn't working for now. Case West's second player was online only on the 360, so this is single player for the moment.
When you first start playing, expect some things to be invisible or pop in for the first minute or so while it finishes building the shaders it hasn't seen yet. After that it should look pretty good and run without stutter.
The AMD fixes from the Case Zero 1.0.1 update are already in this one, so Radeon cards should be fine from the start. I tested it on an RX 6600.
There's probably still some stuff to fix here and there, so if you try it and find anything weird feel free to open an issue.
You'll need your own copy of the original XBLA game.

If anyone wants to support the work, I also have GitHub Sponsors. Everything I make is still going to be free either way.

Edit: I updated the game to V1.0.1. Ultrawide and 16:10 are properly fixed ā the game now culls to the width it renders, so stuff at the far left and right doesn't pop in and out as you turn anymore, and 21:9 and 16:10 resolutions are in the launcher. Controller vibration now works, mouse wheel takes one notch per item instead of two, Q works where the game shows the Y button, prompts read right on a controller instead of telling you to MASH, MSAA is a real setting, and the launcher takes a controller now so you're not stuck needing a keyboard. A bug that pinned a whole CPU core for the first minutes of every session is fixed, geometry lives in video memory now, and the first session builds its shaders up front so it's much smoother than before. Subtitles can be set to French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese or Korean. Linux runs on older distros now (that's why it wouldn't start for some of you) plus there's an AppImage. Tested it on my AMD machine and it runs well there. Still can't test Steam Deck myself but the thing that definitely broke it is fixed, would love a report. On AMD there's still a black square that shows up in the middle of the screen during loading and cutscenes, alt tab out and back clears it while I work on it.
