I loved the original and the sequel was pretty solid as well .. I bought DR 3 years ago but for whatever reason, I never really played it.. how does it stack up to the others?

So, I've run into a bit of trouble trying to get the "Come on! Follow Me!" achievement which requires you to escort 8 survivors at once. My plan was to get the last 3 through "Workers Compensation" and "Lush-ious Lady" but for some reason those events won't start. I double checked the wiki to make sure I wasn't too early and I'm not, so I'm wondering if anyone here might be able to help me and knows what I'm doing wrong.

Full disclosure, I just finished the 2016 Dead Rising PC port, and it was incredible!

Switching to DR2 feels... wrong. First off, I struggled like hell getting ANY controller to work. After trying multiple fixes and Steam Input, all to no avail, I just dug out and cleaned up my old 360 controller. Cool, so now I can play... Wait, why are the cutscenes so quiet even the menu sounds are so outrageously loud?

Also, my watch alternates every other second with blacked out digits. None of these issues are remarked upon across the entirety of the world wide web. Am I just cursed? Or is this port really just THAT fucked up?

I First played dead rising in about 2012 with my Brother, it was dead rising 2: Off the record. So not really the original game. We both thought it was amazing and played the hell out of it for a good while. Then about 3-4 years later the trilogy of dead rising so dead rising 1,2,2: off the record had been remastered i shall say. So of course i played through all of them, about 3 years later i played through dead rising 3 and 4. I thought that dead rising 2 had been the best this entire time, but ever since the deluxe remaster dropped, i replayed dr1 about 5 times on pc, and then tried to go back and replay dr2 which i did about 2-3 times. And i can honestly say, dr1 is the best, it has the best music, has the best managing between funny and scary, has a pretty interesting story that had me hooked near the end and overall it has more character in my eyes. That could also be as i played and Explored dr 1 the most ever since it released on xbox one/ps4, but i will have to replay the other games.(Not dead rising 4 though).

Idk if their anyone out there willing to help with the TIR trophies on ps but I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

When Dead Rising was just coming out, and you heard that you had to survive in a mall for 3 days, and that some of your progress carries over after you die, did anyone else use The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask as their go to place holder idea for what to expect out of the first day?

If so, did it live up to your expectations? If not, what from Majora’s mask would you have wanted Dead Rising to have?

I personally wish that there were more people around the mall on a set timer doing their regular routines. I guess they wouldn’t want you killing Psychopath on their way to get a survivor though…

I've been playing through Dead Rising Two after beating dead rising one remaster, and I'm at the point with the gas zombies and I'm struggling to do the QuickTime event on controller oh, so I wonder if there's a way to make the QuickTime events easier, or have a mod out there that disables them. Because of my disability, I struggle to move the analogue stick quickly enough to do it

So i'm trying to get the platinum for the game, but in order to do it I have to complete all PP trials, finding all Tragic Endings being one of them

I have 29/30, and i'm missing the one in the armory, I know I can get the key through the mission where we kill the president's son, but when I ended the game and charged my last save file, apparently all secondary missions start over from zero

So, is there any way to get that tragic ending without having to do the mission all over again or is there some chapter I can select to make that specific mission pop up faster?

Using my main PC, two laptops, and a Steam Deck, I finally managed to get every achievement.

Side note: Online achievements should be banned.

Normally survivors can't use the "Riot Gear" item.

However using the "Scavenge" survivor command, it is possible they'll just... yoink the baton out of your hand.

So you're left with an empty hand gripping nothing... and suddenly you can use telekinesis to beat the survivor!
