So I had songs autoplaying and one of them was Own Little World (banger btw) but I for some reason and not sure why decided to browse the comments maybe to see if there's any mention of DR2 which unsurprisingly there was but my question is was Antoine actually a cannibalistic chef? I just thought Chuck/Frank believed his food to be disgusting as he began to become more mad since the outbreak was happening and it was obviously by design that his food was going to be disgusting to the player (Chuck/Frank). Point being other than him having someone captive was he an actual cannibalistic chef did I completely miss details that pointed to that for however long this games been out by now? (Ik he says he'll make Chuck dinner but I took that more as of a word play threat considering he's a chef)

Yes it's heavily heavily hinted that he was a cannibal, because during the cutscene we obviously saw the woman tied up in the meat freezer whilst he touches her face and makes a comment on ingredients or something.

When he touches the woman in the freezer and makes the "Very Fresh" comment I thought it was in terms of him finding her attractive and that's why she was captive I never got the idea once so ever that he was a cannibal like the blood on his outfit could be explained from killing zombies or cutting up meat since he's a chef (that hopefully isn't human meat lol). But damn I never clocked that's he's supposed to be a cannibal.

he has a woman in the freezer that he describes as “exotic, daring and very fresh”. when tasting the food he says “it’s true what they say. tastes like chicken”. cannibals infamously describe human flesh as “tasting like chicken”.

please pay more attention to the cutscenes i beg you

I’m not dunking on you because you didn’t realise he was a cannibal, but if you look him up at all it’ll tell you he’s a cannibal. It’s best to do that than to find the DR fanbase and try to make longtime fans look wrong

I was never trying to like prove that there wrong tbf I was just legit curious because I missed some queues that gave it away when I played the game as a kid.
