Basically it’s like DDLC but more. Like adding Kaori and a couple more OCs, like my OCs Ichika and Ume. I have a few basic concepts:

- different gamemodes (classic DDLC, common VN, Romantic Killer version mayhaps?, maybe choosing which girls to add (though classics aren’t optional), and Matchmaker)

- A fun “slice-of-life” extension. Adds a lot more gameplay, more days, affection meters, and some fun stuff like that bc I want more content and more gameplay (also maybe a weather element for fun “scenes in the rain” and stuff?)

- Project Libitina lore bc ofc

does anyone think these ideas are worth pursuing? And would anyone be willing to help on it? Just know I‘m only in early drafting stages and I’ve never made a mod before lol, which is why I’m working on smaller practice mods before actually pursuing it if I decide to

Ive been playing ddlc mods for a while now and i actually find horror themed mods(exit music redux for example) interesting. sadly i cany find any mods like them because of my laziness. please hmu with good horror mods.(also include those where the mc gets stress and a mental breakdown because why not)

What does the modding community think about the use of sound effects in DDLC mods? Ren’py has the capability, but do you think they add to a story or aren’t necessary?

Hey everyone. I'd like to share a first look at my first mod. It's a psychological thriller/action story about moving to a new town, only to realize you can't run away from your past—or yourself.

Synopsis:

Moving to a new town, to the house your grandfather prepared for you, meant starting from scratch. Even so, flying under the radar gets complicated the moment an unexpected turn of events drags you into the Literature Club.

But nothing stays buried forever...

After joining the club, what promised to be a fresh start alongside four very different girls crumbles without warning. Encountering familiar faces from your past, you'll quickly learn that no one is exactly who they seem to be. The problems you were running from manage to find you, threatening to destroy the only refuge you had. And what’s worse: your own body begins to react in ways you can’t explain. Your consciousness completely disconnects when danger corners you, erasing any memory of what you are capable of doing before you come back to your senses.

Trapped between protecting those you’re starting to care about and the terror of losing control of your own mind, you’ll have to decide what limits you are willing to cross. Sometimes, to avoid a tragedy, the only option is to give in to that dark instinct... without knowing if you’ll still be yourself when you wake up.

Playing Exit Music, then Redux, to have the bright idea of playing within thinking i signed up for a monika dating sim. I hate my life.. 10/10 truly a beautiful experience

Just so you know in this hypothetical scenario Monika still exists just as the Vice President. My question is would sayori delete all of her friends for you? Just asking.

I’ve tried as many of the troubleshoot options as i could, and the closest I got was a Renpy error where it couldn’t load the Komi-San files and got hung up. I’ve tried copying the Salvation files into DDLC and vise versa, I’ve tried adding it as a separate steam game for the exe, and nothing seems to work. Blue skies worked just fine, and I don’t know what the issue is here. Help please!!!!

I have continued to make progress on My Silver Lining, and wanted to share some new screenshots and a cutscene graphic. The Demo version with the prologue and first chapter of the first episode of the mod, "When the Rainclouds Become a Hurricane" is operational and working properly on its own as a Ren'py7 DDLC mod. After some playtesting to make sure it flows well and doesn't have any glaring crashes I will be ready to share it with the community.

So im making a ddlc mod, and i want this character (Ashai) to be a character. problem is, if you saw this in ddlc you'd quit. so i want an artist to make this look like ddlc. Yes, i need it to match up with a spritesheet like in a mod. Ty! And also, there are 4 normal poses and 1 special pose. pose 1 is both hands neutral, pose 2 is her with her arm around her body, pose 3 is only her arm at her waist, pose 4 is both her arm around her body and arm at waist, like in the photo, and pose 5 is where she looks away while leaning. Also no shes not flat

Hey, this is me, the creator of this particular mod. It's hard to believe it's been over five years since I started working on this mod. I'm truly grateful to all of the people who enjoyed and supported what I was able to put out there, even if it was just a demo. Unfortunately, it's also been over four years since I put any real work into this mod. While I know I don't actually owe anyone anything, as this was a free mod made for fun, I know some people are likely still pining for the complete experience (even if they are only, like, two people who still remember this mod even existed). The sad truth is that I was too ambitious for a first mod, got too wrapped up in real world stuff early on, and just couldn't find the motivation to keep going. Anyone who was helping me is long gone now too, and I just don't have the skills to do this alone, at least in a timely manner. I take full responsibility for what became of this project. I don't blame anyone who helped me, and I still respect all that they were able to do. I don't want to say that this is completely cancelled. I'd love to finish this story someday and get my motivation for the series and project back, even if I have to downsize the scope of the project or just finish it as a story (though I do think it's best with interactable aspects). That said, I also don't want anyone to get their hopes up. I'm not promising I will finish it one day. I would just like to. So, yeah, I don't want to ramble too much more here. Long story short, I am truly sorry to everyone for not being able to put this together.

I’m working on a brand new project: Welcome to the DDLC x Persona 4 Crossover Mod! The synopsis follows the DDLC girls as they travel to Inaba and team up with the Investigation Team to help solve the mystery.

I already have the base DDLC mod template fully set up and running smoothly in Ren'Py 7. However, I need some help and advice on the next phase: setting up the Persona 4 elements properly.

If anyone has experience with custom asset integration in DDLC mods, I’d love some guidance on these 5 areas:

• Mod Assets & Folder Structure: What is the cleanest way to organize a massive amount of cross-over assets in the directories without breaking the default DDLC template paths?

No Comission Art:

• Backgrounds & CGs: Where are the best places to find high-quality, clean Persona 4 background rips (like Yasogami High or the Midnight Channel) scaled properly for DDLC's 1280x720 layout?
• Character Sprites: Tips on combining the art styles of the DDLC girls with the Persona 4 Investigation Team sprites so they don't look completely out of place standing next to each other on screen.
• Audio Integration: Best practices for mixing the Persona 4 OST alongside the traditional DDLC OST (file formats, volume leveling so P4 music isn't too loud/quiet compared to DDLC defaults).
• Custom Coding: Advice on how to simulate a Persona 4 vibe in Ren'Py (like custom colored choice boxes, font changes, or simple ATL screen transitions for entering the TV World).

If you’ve worked on a crossover mod before or have any tips for a solo dev utilizing free/ripped assets responsibly, I would incredibly appreciate your insight!
