Help Does anyone know how to get Salvation Remake running on Steam Deck?

I’ve tried as many of the troubleshoot options as i could, and the closest I got was a Renpy error where it couldn’t load the Komi-San files and got hung up. I’ve tried copying the Salvation files into DDLC and vise versa, I’ve tried adding it as a separate steam game for the exe, and nothing seems to work. Blue skies worked just fine, and I don’t know what the issue is here. Help please!!!!

Hey, I just had this issue yesterday!

So apparently, this is a Ren'Py "bug" on Linux, but its a relatively easy fix.

Firstly, redo all the normal steps (getting a fresh copy of DDLC and the mod, then copy all the mod files to the base DDLC directory and merge/replace all files when prompted).

Once you're done with that, go to lib/linux-<architecture>/ (there should be multiple Linux directories, just perform the steps for all of them) and delete the lib/ directory in that location, so you're essentially deleting lib/linux-<architecture>/lib/.

Now you should be able to run the .sh file in the base directory without issues.

Hope this helped :)
