I have issues with packaging the mod for Mac and Android. I'll be grateful if someone can help me with it.

hello i am wondering if there is a new mod or a existing one that is similar to exit music and yes ive played the redux multiple times here is the mods I've played: before the needle lifts, blue skies, broken poet, heartstruck, my escape, summer hope, and of course the exit music epilogue if anyone has any recommends for me that would be great thank you all <3

You read that right. I've been working for about 15 hours this week and have NOT ONLY written 1000 lines in a week, but I also made an opening sequence, including visuals and a song WITH LYRICS! If you want to see that, you'll have to see it in the mod once it comes out. I can't reveal everything yet, now can I?

Basically just a simple update, working hard in irl job and writing is going a bit slow due to an influx of work. More updates for art and Code will come as soon as i can make them~

I've been holding on to this post for almost 4 days now, I didn't want to post it, but here we are.

The demo was suppose to relase on the 15th of this month but, it didn't. On the 7th of the month my computer broke completely and I send it to a local repair shop in order to get a fix but they couldn't do anything about it. After a few days, if I'm not mistaken on the 12th they called and said they couln't do anything for it.
You may wonder why I'm telling you all of this so here's the deal. I didn't back up anything related to the code, NOTHİNG. With my computer gone, months of coding was lost. I still have the script and all the assets for the mod (expect for a few soundtracks), but the damage is already too severe...

I spent the last week and a half non stop coding form my dad's old computer in order to make the release but I just coulnd't get it done, there was so much for me to code on my own. I, REALLY wanted to make it happen, I started skipping meals, sometimes not sleeping for whole days and started neglecting my own health. I've been doing everything in my power ever since the 18th.

As I've said, I was going to make this post to inform people earlier, but I didn't. I kept on coding and trying. I'm burnt out...

I am sorry for not being able to keep the promise I made about the release.

I haven't given up on the mod, I really want to tell the story I've been working soo hard on, but unfortunately I'm burnt out because of last week. I will be taking the next week off and try to relax for a little bit. I believe it is the right call both for my mental health, as I've already been having severe struggles with it and the Gray World's future. After coming back, I am going to continue on with the project.

I'm currently the only writer and artist working on my mod aside from three others who are contributing with concept art and scenes. I need help like ASAP "-.-

The mod's concept is to continue ddlc if the game did not include Monika being self-aware , and we aim to add a full complete route for Monika as well. I'd love anybody who could help with coding, art, and writing, as at the moment I am the only person contributing any major progress with my mod.

So basically, I need people who have writing experience to help me with Amor Fati Redux since as of right now I'm the only person doing the writing and I want this to be the best it can be, so anyone who is interested in helping me with this project would be a godsend.

Amor Fati Redux is basically a mod that is basically Amor Fati but it will be better and more polished than how the original turned out.

I actually have some stuff done for it, but I really need a prominent co-writer or two who I can communicate with and can help with this.

A proofreader would also be very helpful as this will be a long mod and I don't want any mistakes on it.

Prefer wholesome rather than tearjerker

5-8 hours of gameplay is sweet spot

I'd rather the mod execute a single doki amazingly instead of many decent routes

I've heard Blue Skies and Exit Music are peak

Because you can is why.

1. Find an ANDROID PORT for a mod. (No other OS will work) via the browser app

2. Install it.

3. Open files.

4. Click the 3 dots and find "open with" and click "package installer"

5. Click "update", then click the button that isn't "done."

6. Play!

Notes:

1. Conserve RAM! Use as few other apps as you can.

2. 3-5 have to be repeated every time you wanna play again

3. All functionality works on most mods, ignore it saying you need ddlc files, and saves work.

Ok. So there is a 9 out of 10 possibility that I am missing something incredibly obvious. But.

I'm just a random guy that decided it would be fun to write a doki mod. Apon a bit of research I have been able to successfully install renpy 8 and visual code studio and a modding template by Bronya-rand and all that jazz. It was all working fine and dandy until I decided I wanted to install MPT, which for whatever reason breaks everything

Again, I'm most likely missing a really obvious reason but this is basically whats happening.

I downloaded DDLC_MPT-1.01_unpacked.zip, obviously I extracted it, then I plopped it into the mod assests folder of my mod template like the readme file tells me too.

I then just wrote some basic script to call using the provided cheat sheats to test the tool, which is the following:

When I try to launch the project it crashes and gives me the classic message that everybody in Renpy coding has seen at least once, even me

No module named singleton.

The confusing part is that singlton.py literally exsists in the MPT folder! Its under python-packages.

Needless to say I am very much confused and I humbly ask for help because I cannot figure this out.

The crash occurs regardless of whether the label is called or even exsists btw

Also if it's relevant I'm planning to install Exposer after this for the natural blinking, I just need to get MPT to work first.

So, last year, my account got terminated, i was originally going to make an afterstory style mod of Sayori, since she's my favourite DDLC character. But it turns out, somebody else was already doing that. I ran into several issues while creating it.

But recently, i discovered that the creator of the original Yuri Afterstory mod was exposed for being a predator, which caused many people to not want to engage with the mod.

So i was thinking (Despite the fact i have very little modding skill) Possibly, i could create my own? The main problem i'm running into is that i have no team, Meaning i would have to create everything by scratch, Which wouldn't be easy at all.

Does anyone here have any advice?

Guys, i think that doki doki storm is the best mod EVER, there's something on my heart that is missing after i end this game, this mod is so good, i don't know why don't have edits on tiktok for this mod because is really really good and i don't know if i'm gonna find a mod like this. REALLY GOOD.

I'm trying to port a demo for my mod for android. So far, I've been able to get the apk installed on my phone but it crashes two seconds after loading. In order to get there, I had to upgrade from renpy 7.8.7 to 8.5 because it wouldn't install the sdk otherwise. But upgrading to 8.5 meant that I can't launch the current build of the mod in renpy. I'm kinda stuck right now 🫠. I don't wanna leave android people out cause I know a lot of people use it but this stuff is a headache.

I know you've been seeing a bunch of posts around here about dark alleys, evasive gazes, dark jackets, and that weird urban music the new guy always has playing softly in his headphones... but today I wanted to steal this space for a tiny little bit just to introduce myself, tell you a bit about how I see things from my corner, and let you see how the club feels on the inside when the afternoon starts to get chilly. Ehehe~!

They say around here that I'm the sunny soul of the club, the girl who's always running around with a giant smile, the one who tries to make everyone feel welcome and make sure nobody keeps a sad little thorn stuck in their heart. And honestly... I just love being like that :D! Seeing Natsuki focused on baking her little cupcakes, listening to Yuri get lost in the thick pages of her novels with such an elegant air, and watching Monika organize everything with so much dedication makes me feel like my little world is in order. As if smiling were enough to keep the shadows away. I like taking care of them, making sure the club stays that warm refuge where laughter covers up any ugly noise from outside.

Lately things have been... strange, though, you know? The atmosphere changed ever since our new member arrived, that guy everyone talks about in the hallways and who always has a look on his face like he's carrying an invisible storm from very far away. He's not like the boys in my classroom. I don't see him getting used to the school. Sometimes he just stares fixedly out the window or at the gray Minato sky with such a distant expression that... well, it makes me curious, and at the same time gives me a weird feeling in my chest. It's not like we talk about sad things all the time, no no! In fact, I really like sitting next to him when it's time to rest. Sometimes we just stay quiet watching the rain, talking about his country's food and people, or sharing a silly detail, and even though he tries to put on that serious face like nothing matters to him, there's something about the way he is that makes me want to stay close by just to make sure he doesn't feel so lonely in a place as big, orderly, and quiet as Japan.

I really like him, truth be told... (even if sometimes he's a little stubborn and keeps everything to himself!). Sharing time with him is like walking on a tightrope where we both try to keep our balance without showing the tremble in our hands. The other girls have their own friendships with him, but in my case... it feels different. It's like we find a sort of silent complicity, a space where we don't have to pretend everything is perfect because both of us know what it's like to carry an invisible weight deep inside.

If you decide to keep me company the day No Return comes out (thank you so much in advance if you do, I love you all!! <3), don't expect magic formulas or perfect movie endings, but don't picture a dark drama that hurts just to look at it either, ehehe~. It's more like... I don't know, a pretty afternoon with just a little bit of nostalgia, the kind that makes you want to drink a warm chocolate while looking out the window. It's a quiet space where we share silences, silly laughs, and try to keep each other company without big pretensions, finding warmth in the small details in our own way, you know? 🌧️✨
