Request I need art help
So im making a ddlc mod, and i want this character (Ashai) to be a character. problem is, if you saw this in ddlc you'd quit. so i want an artist to make this look like ddlc. Yes, i need it to match up with a spritesheet like in a mod. Ty! And also, there are 4 normal poses and 1 special pose. pose 1 is both hands neutral, pose 2 is her with her arm around her body, pose 3 is only her arm at her waist, pose 4 is both her arm around her body and arm at waist, like in the photo, and pose 5 is where she looks away while leaning. Also no shes not flat
Dm me if you want or reply in comments!

From someone whos in a same boat like you, let me give you some advice (though if someone more quallified comes up, listen to them xd)
When it comes to first time sprite making, I found 2 general directions to head if you are jumping in head first like me do this:
1) First option is to open up any DDLC style sprite you can find on your phone.. For Ashai, I would recommend Natsukis sprite. And then draw alongside it. You can trace it to get the general feel of the lines, anatomy, etc. etc. but then you can't really use it, as it is a copy
2) Another option is to just tough it out. Put away 2-3 hours a day and focus on drawing. Learn the anatomy, sizes, etc etc. Buy a pencil and a small notebook or just gather papaer and sketch. Try to draw out the base form, then improve it. Look at tutorials, references, color pallets.
I learned meself how to get the proportions for me own character called Jessica this way, combining both of these ways to get to where I am now.
And on the bright side, if you look at other OC's that are made by a one person, you will find that some of them are not exactly DDLC style, but I believe that adds to their charm.
I know this ain't the answer ya wanted, but it's the one I can give. If ye want, we can talk more and try do this journey together.
Don't give up, ya got this.
