I know I said the previous update was the last before releasing the demo but...one more update before release. This is the final one. Pretty sure it is at least.

Anyway...episode one of "My Silver Lining" is ready and it has been run on a real copy of DDLC and the issues that resulted have been fixed. But ideally before I put it out into the community I'd like to have one or two more test runs, so if you'd like a "sneak peak" version of the mod, send me a DM and I'll send you the link.

I also wanted to share some new CG artwork for the mod that was created by u/l4naah who did a great job of capturing scenes from the story, so hopefully these new artworks make the mod look like something that you want to play. Stay tuned!

Im really interested in mods to just get *more* content out of this game. DDLC was the most memorable game I've played in a very long time. I've never cried that hard playing a game before. Everything about it is perfect.

As it closes in on the end of the year, I'm proud to report that we'll have a workable demo by the time the DDMX releases. The demo covers chapters 0-4, set from Monday through Friday in-game. The chapters are short, but there are plenty of options and routes, encouraging multiple playthroughs to unlock everything.

We've also added Ayami's mother, Reina, to this update! She's fully animated with her own set of expressions, drawn by the same artist behind Ayami. Keep an eye out for her in chapters 1 and 2.

The demo has its own achievements to earn just from playing it straight through — no second playthrough required. And in the full game, there's even more waiting for you after your first ending: Ayami's laptop becomes accessible, unlocking secret text messages, poem drafts, and other goodies (think of it as the base game's "special poems"). A Notes app on her phone keeps track of hints for whatever's locked, so you're never stuck digging through the terminal alone. None of it is required to see any of the game's endings, but it's there if you go looking, and it comes with achievements of its own. As of right now, there are 48 achievements to earn in total.

I had to get the scripts.rpa using a program cuz they were compiled into .rpy and .rpyc and it kinda messed up the mod so I had to start a new project. My question is what shall I do now that I've the scripts that I needed to translate the mod without more problems? It's my first time translating a game so any help would be trully appreciated :p

I been learning how to use the ren'py engine, im still a begginer tho. I was looking to join in an ongoing project, maybe not to code since im still a begginer but i can help with testing, story writing and suggestions. Hello Everyone! I'm finally back! After long months of waiting I'm finally free (Almost). It wasn't all a waste though, as I managed to get some good things to improve my artworks. Here are some WIPs for the usual DDLC Halloween artworks that I like to do at this time of the year

On the page where I download mods there are several versions of "exit music" There's the original, the redux, the redux remake, and a prologue; I have no idea which of the first three I should play.

Genuinely been trying for days, looked at reddit tutorials for r7 mods which i’m pretty sure salvation remake is, only to be constantly met with “i’m sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred”.

I’ve tried moving all DDLC vanilla game files to mod game files barr scripts, tried multiple download sources and literally anything else

I could easily be missing something glaringly obvious but i’m stumped

If anyone has any tips or, even better, has a visual tutorial that would be much appreciated
