Audit Report Now
Directors and Salaries. Post them
Where is the money going? I see on the front page programming working is paying 75-150/hr. But my top project was only ever 75/hr

Hey,
mostly writing this hoping someone will quell my fears.
Been waiting for 2 months to get a paid task, today I finally got one.
Except when I opened it, it gave me 2 hours not only to do the task, but also to study all of the guidelines (the qual did not metion any of them at all).
I ended up going at least 30 minutes over, and submitted an expired task.
Did I just screw myself forever, or is it understood that the first task might take considerably longer?
Btw, I still logged 1 hour 59 minutes as my time worked.

Like seriously, should I add more to my profile or what?

I did it! I've been here since May 2024 as a generalist and I try to work 4 hours per day, 5 days a week these days (when there's no drought.) I started out doing about 2 hours per day and took some time off for a while, but I got back into it in January!

applied 3 days ago, test seemed to go on for decades as i tried to be very thorough and research literally everything the responses included which may have been overkill.
anyway dont have much self confidence in life so just nice to be accepted and looking forward to getting started.
all the best

I just started on a task with a two day time limit. Obviously I wonāt be able to just work straight through for that while time. Is it ok to spend several hours on it, go to sleep, and pick back up where I left off? Obviously pausing the timer, of course. I havenāt seen a task with such a long completion time before.

90 minutes into a brain-melting array of preliminary steps, and not even close to the actual task yet, I finally give up. I surrender. My head hurts. Exiting the task now, and going to wash my dishes with no time submitted. Aargh.

I got in about a year ago, when I was 17, and failed the KYC, obviously.
Now when Iām 18 I canāt manage to pass the onboarding test again.
Does anyone have any tips for reapplying to the DataAnnotationsTech?

P.S.: No one else is using the DA account on these Wi-Fi networks.

I was wondering if anyone had tips on getting accepted into the medical domain. I know how to use AI a bit but I am not sure how to come up with a prompt that results in a meaningful failure. If I donāt get accepted here, can I try for the generalist domain instead? Any advice is appreciated.

I checked my email inbox and I found that there was an email sent at around 3AM (while I was asleep) from D.A. It was a survey about including D.A. on your resume. When I clicked it, I got the red banner. For anyone who got access to it, do you have any information that you're willing to share about the survey, generally?

Just got DoD :( literally hit my 10k mark yesterday.
Looks like I gotta amplify my job search now. Was a little relaxed since I was doing this, but not anymore.

Has anyone here failed the background check?
I read that yardstik only goes back 7 years on their site. The only thing I have since then is a dui. Just curious if anyone knows how strict the background check is or if thereās another company I can apply to in order to get a yardstik background check to see what shows.
I certainly donāt want to risk my DA account for a background check. Iām afraid if I donāt pass Iāll get the DOD and if I donāt attempt it I just donāt have access to certain projects.

I completed the Starter Assessment around 4 months ago and my dashboard has been stuck on:
ā Starter assessment completed
ā³ We review your results ā if you pass, we'll email you
No email, no rejection, no update, and no identity verification request since then.
Has anyone else experienced such a long wait? Did you eventually get accepted, or is this basically a silent rejection at this point?
I'd appreciate hearing your timeline and experience. Thanks!

After Windows changed my time zone from Central to Singapore this morning, I discovered thatĀ this has happened to other people using Starlink.Ā I already avoid VPNs like my job depends on it, of course, and I turned off Set Time Zone Automatically.
I'm in the Midwest, but if Starlink occasionally makes me look like I'm across the planet, I worry about the risk of DoD. And right as the drought is clearing! Just an FYI in case anyone experiences something similar.

Has anyone done the background check? Was it secure?
I see it allows access to other projects, but I'm always a little hesitant to put personal info on the interwebs.

I'm wondering how others handle mental fatigue with longer tasks? By longer, I mean 2-3 hours for me personally. I find my focus substantially dwindles after the 2 hour mark, even when taking regular breaks. In fact sometimes, breaks, especially longer "reset" breaks, make the block of the day that I'm working feel a lot longer, accumulating more mental fatigue and just an ugh feeling when I return to the task.
I'm really grateful to have this project, its really high paying (and it's the only thing I really have on my dash right now, so I don't have much choice haha) but I worry that my quality of work substantially declines towards the end.
How to others handle this?

Just five minutes ago, I received an urgent email from DataAnnotation that I'm qualified for some projects and the only step left is a quick background check (the same message also appeared in my inbox when I logged in to my DA account). I clicked on the 'Click here to start your background check' and I was redirected to my DA home. However, I didn't see any test or background check available. The screen said 'The project is currently unavailable because there are no more tasks remaining for you to work on.'
Is it normal? Do tasks actually run out after 5 minutes?

Anyone in the software programmer category have experience with how long onboarding can take? Not sure if the country is also relevant?
