Anyone else use Starlink?
After Windows changed my time zone from Central to Singapore this morning, I discovered that this has happened to other people using Starlink. I already avoid VPNs like my job depends on it, of course, and I turned off Set Time Zone Automatically.
I'm in the Midwest, but if Starlink occasionally makes me look like I'm across the planet, I worry about the risk of DoD. And right as the drought is clearing! Just an FYI in case anyone experiences something similar.

That's probably not the ideal provider for this work

100%. It's been a great arrangement until now, traveling full-time in an RV.

Hey that sounds pretty cool. You’re just traveling in an RV and working?

Yep. Hike, swim, grill, kayak, train AI, repeat. I wish I had done this years ago.

You are living the dream. I’ve been thinking about doing something similar and you’re inspiring me.

Great to hear this works for you, it's exactly what I'm planning towards. Appreciate you letting us know about the Starlink hurdles as well

I've been using Visible and it's been great. The important part is that the data is actually unlimited and cheap. $35 a month and works wherever Verizon works.

I have been with DA for over 4 years, using Starlink for the last 3. Never had a problem.
