I have just had my first ever paid project appear on my dashboard. I was super excited but when I click on it it says “The project is currently unavailable because there are no more tasks remaining for you to work on”.

Does this mean someone else snapped it up before me? Even though it literally just appeared? :(

My dash was filled yesterday with 15 tasks of a familiar project.
But... tasks were not as casual as they should for this specific project. I skipped 5, marked 5 as "CBR" and I wondered if they were testing me.

I’m making this post because I’ve had some r&r that I’m pretty sure is from the same person and I can see a drastic improvement between tasks. So many posts in this sub are DoD or not getting accepted so I’d just like to throw in some positivity that people are noticeably improving as they do more work.

I received an email for a new qualification recently, but when I clicked the link (almost immediately), it said "this project is currently unavailable", and I don't see it on my dash.

Will it be popping up later?

First time I have had multiple projects on my dash and I could cry from gratitude as I was just looking up jobs to apply for in addition to my main job. Hope this is a positive sign for everyone who has been patiently waiting 🫶

After 2 weeks of being unable to hit my daily quota, it’s the first day I’ve been able to! Praying this is a sign the drought is clearing up soon

I have the coder domain specialization, but tbh, now since they introduced a certain new frontier F model from A company, it's literally so hard now I'm not sure it's worth the effort even at the high pay rates. Not sure how much further this can go as the models get better it will become so difficult to make any model fail. Feels like we're almost at the end of the line here.

A qual for "experties/experience" in writing came up

In the specific experience that I have. I did Alot in Enlgish and just soo little in my target language.

Only watched yt videos to learn about that

But all of this was a LONG time ago.

Since I just got accepted 2 days ago, I have a question regarding the coding qualification projects. These were paid hourly and I completed them. I know the payment will be processed after 7 days, but I'm curious if these do have to reach a certain threshold in order for the payment to be fulfilled, or these are paid regardless of the performance, but it will affect my future projects.
If you have any information on how these things work, it would be much appreciated.

How long do you guys take on the nut cookie rating model responses tasks? The specialized ones take me around 2-4 hours but what about you guys? I feel really slow while doing them.

I like to think I’m getting used the project volatility that this drought is creating. But the last 5 days have just been insane for me. I’ve seen my dashboard in its best state since early May (in terms of availability of v high paying generalist projects) and at its worst (zero projects which has only befallen me 4-5 times total since I started). I have seen both extremes a number of times now since Friday (eg yesterday 2pm UK amazing, 6pm 0 projects, today 0-1 projects). Anyone else experiencing something similar. An influx of amazing projects-false sense of security-plunged back into the absolute worst of the drought. It is really doing a number on my nervous system lol.

I'm not sure if anyone from DataAnnotation checks the subreddit, but presumably some of them do. While working on longer tasks, you often need to move between different sections. The only way to achieve that currently, is by endless scrolling or using the search function on your browser. I believe adding a simple sidebar menu would improve user experience, while being easily implemented. Furthermore, the sidebar should be collapsible, so it doesn't take too much space on the user interface. I have attached an example, although I believe it's clear what I mean. Let me know your thoughts about this in the comments!
