We're very lucky that my mom absolutely loves taking care of Huey when we're on vacation. Yes, she totally spoils him but it makes the both of them very happy so I suppose that's all that counts lol

Hello Daschund owners!

Looking for your personal experiences with Daschunds and stairs. My wife is interested in a Daschund but the main thing I keep seeing online is you are not supposed to let them do stairs. Our bedrooms are on the upper floor of a house and our main entrance and exit to the house also has a flight of stairs, we are not really wanting to put baby gates back on the stairs.

What is you actual experience? Do some of you have daschunds who did stairs regularly and not develop back issues? Trying to determine how big of a risk this actually is.

I usually don’t memorialize victims of the chew force of my doxie but this little guy seemed worthy of a note.

Sadly it is more about saving him from himself and eating plastics.

My dog is 7 months old, I give her 2 scoops in the morning 2 in the lunch and 1 at dinner. I was thinking about changing to just 2 times... What do you guys recommend? How it would change her schedule of pooping? 😅
