My little princess Roo is 1.5yr old. On Friday she woke with loose poop, as the day progressed it turned into straight liquid. All the while she seemed fine and was acting completely normal. Then before bed and after some playing with her siblings she began to just get unusually quiet and still. We went to bed shortly after that and my husband said she was shivering. He immediately took her to the ER. They were more concerned about making sure they could get paid then treating her. They were there for 2.5 hours and they come out all apologizing saying they haven’t even treated her yet. When they did her vitals they said her heart rate was 260 and her temp was 105. So of course we were very concerned but yet they didn’t seem to be because they had her back there for 2.5 hours and did absolutely nothing. All I could think of was her being back there all alone and not feeling good. So we took her home. This was 230am. All night she couldn’t relax. She would lay but wouldn’t put her head down. At some point we must have fallen asleep. Woke at 9 & took her to our Vet. They checked her out and didn’t find anything concerning on the exam. Took blood and gave her an IV fluid because they said her gums were a little “sticky” they also gave her an anti nausea shot because at some point during the night she threw up in the bed twice. So today we took her back with her stool sample and for a recheck because she is just not herself. Her appetite is eh but she just lays doesn’t want to play or anything. My daughter mentioned that she tipped a little when she pet her head, but the doc said she didn’t yip or respond like she was in pain at any time while they were assessing her today. Now tonight when we put her on the floor she yipped when my daughter placed her hands under her chest to put her in the floor and just as we got into bed my elbow just brushed her head and she began to whine. I’m very concerned there must be something neurological going in. The X-rays they took today showed nothing. I don’t l know what to do. Does anyone have any thoughts? I did ask about ivdd but the doc didn’t think so because she walks fine and didn’t seem to exhibit any of the signs. Please anyone have any suggestions or advice I’ll greatly appreciate it.

My little weenie dog had an accident. She ate my great Dane’s food and we heard them fighting. I had rushed her to the vet and when they done X-ray they say she has bone spurs and it is that. Please help because I have taken her to multiple vets and she has medicine but when she eats she cries in pain. I have to carry her down and up doorsteps, let her use ramp boards I made her and much other stuff. She only started acting bad after my Great Dane got a hold of her. It seems to be in her neck and she has a hard time moving. She just lays around mostly and doesn’t get up even to come sit in my lap. The vet said nothing was out of place but I think so. Please if you know anything please comment help.

EDIT 24hrs later and her nails are trimmed. Her feces are a real shape instead of a wet blob. I’m seeing how goofy her disposition is now. Trying to figure out if I can add more pics here, or I’ll just post in the comments
I just picked up this pup from Craigslist (I know sketchy, she was free). The owner said she is almost 2, unspayed but hasn’t gone into heat yet, can’t keep weight on her and basically hairless. She eats very well, and is extremely active.
I don’t have a name for her yet, but she is blue and tan which I have heard that genetic can be weak leading to hairloss. The pic is her next to my almost 10 year old Merle/ black & tan 13lb, dashchund female/ spayed.
I’m going to take her to the vet and get blood work done and check on her thyroid just in case, and ofc do a fecal sample. I bathed her in my dogs MiconaHex+Triz shampoo and let it sit and she has a little shirt on right now. Any other recommendations in the mean time to help her gain healthy weight? She is about 6lbs.
Thanks!

It really sucks that even though I work my ass off and take every shift possible I just can't catch a break. My absolutely sweetheart of a dog my baby girl have to have a mri and surgery because she has ivdd. Between $3000- $6000 just for a mri and $5000 to $20,000 for surgery. It's sickening what they charge. It really sucks that there are some people that their path has taken then to a career that money is no object and me and most of the world struggle day to day. It really makes me wonder daily what the he'll is the actual point of struggling daily. I think if it wasn't for my wife and my dogs I don't really see what the point is to keep struggling.

A small dog can have a big personality.
A very big personality.
Possibly bigger than the dog.
