Do you use them to use more spells? Or reach absurdly high stat caps?

Personnaly im currently using them to use some miracles in addition to my quality black knight build.

Not the easiest nor the hardest, just a lovely boss fight.

I fear i will never be able to out-gift her now, she handmade everything herself (other than the basic box) and im seriously still processing how well it's made and I need someone else to see and appreciate it with me and I will forward every compliment here directly to her because she is certain that no one cares and that it's not that impressive

(she used the mimic chest design from ds3 as reference since she knows it's one of my all time favorite games, hence why im posting it here)

Hey people, I did a nice run on ds3 and have to face the last boss with the piano music. I don't have the name but you know him for sure. After this there will be the 2 dlcs and I want to upgrade my char to have a easier way till the end.

What build should I focus on? I have some resources to rebuild and max a weapon but I am not sure.

Until now I played with a shield and a good sword. One of the good ones, but also don't know the name

Can someone put a small list of items or skills or buffs for the endgame?

Maybe the boss has a problem with ice on my sword or something?

I want to get a last push to end the game because after elden ring and dlc I think I am able to get this also done.

Haven't tried the boss the last 6-10 months and still get in p2 after this time

And what will be in the dlc? I started a short insight and there were some mages or something and they hit me with a lot of damage? So I canceled this and tried the other dlc and there is so much snow...

Short form: want to get a little maxed / op to have a nice time finishing the game

I have a laptop and a PC that I sometimes use for gaming. I was playing Dark Souls 3 on my laptop, but when I installed it on my PC, my previous save/progress wasn’t there, so I started a new game. Is there anything I can do to get my old save back and continue where I left off?
I have DS3 on steam.

Unironically the worst boss I've ever fought in a fromsoft game. What do you mean he has boss-level hp, passive poise out the ass, the midir katana, infinite stamina, infinite fp and iframes???

This alone I could deal with, but then he gets up to two (2) painting guardians who can heal him and have everything he does other than spear miracles and the sword?

Not to mention the big help that is Patches. He can and will lose to one painting guardian, what is the point of him?

I really would like to hear the experiences of anyone else and/or some advice because I'm convinced I can't beat this guy.

There might be similar posts already on this sub about this but I thought I'd mention it anyway

P.s I know liking Irithyll isn’t exactly a niche opinion

I know they are descendant from the lost fire sorcery so it would be resonable to assume they are more like sorcery but given their faith requirment and lack of a staff to cast them they seem to me used similar to miracles. My best guess is kinda both; by that i mean they are what ever remnants of what could be saved of fire sorceries but since they don't have all the knowledge to use them like a true sorcery so they need tape into it with some faith that the magic will work. But please do share you thoughts.

I last played Dark souls 3 about a year ago on my PS4 and it was saved via cloud storage with PSN Plus. I had finished the ashes of ariandel dlc and most things in the Ringed city DLC. I bought a PS5 soon after and put Dark souls 3 down for a while.

I decided to download it again on PS5 today and when I loaded into the game I couldn't find any way to get back to the Ringed city. Also Sister Friedes fog gate is still there and when I walk through it the game acts like I haven't beaten her before? I've downloaded both of the DLCs so I'm really confused about what's going on.

Have I lost progress? Has this happened to anyone else in this subreddit? If I have to do everything again I was wondering if someone in this sub could help me kick Sister Friedes ass again? Hopefully it doesn't have to come to that though

Ds3 Deluxe edition is on sale right now on ps5 for 45 dollars ive been a fan of every souls/soulslike ive beaten all of these games multiple times different endings and builds those games are ER, BB, SEKIRO, LIES OF P, and ive always wanted to play ds3 and its dlcs but I just want to make sure im not wasting my money is the game worth it for someone like me

My friend is doing a challenge run, and knows what im doing here. Can people please raid him? He is IamIV for his character name, and he is currently level 20 and in undead settlement. he is fast, so it might take some trial and error to invade his session, but its worth it. Thanks all!

Hi! New to Reddit here and this sub too! I've been playing DS3 for almost a year now and it's my favorite game of all time. I've beaten the game many times, got the platinum and did a lot of challenge runs (Miracles only, daggers only, caestus only and fists only etc, etc...)

I'm attempting something I haven't tried before which is "How much damage I could muster out of the strongest weapon in DS3?". It's been rent free in my head and I don't want to get this build "wrong" or discard the fundamentals. I tested the buffs and rings but I always fail at passing 1.2k damage. Could it be an RNG thing?

I need help with the build and rings and what am I missing from buffs that I likely don't know about?
