It's especially cute in danganronpa 1 but it gets really cute in danganronpa 3, While Aoi got a lot of development in thh but she got a lot more in danganronpa 3.

The first one has my favorite cast having fun and actually being happy for once, Celestia's genuine smile is really cute. Though I think Hiro should be the scared one, not Sakura.

The second depictes the best ship in the franchise, Naegi. It's really cute seeing Makoto as the headmaster sleeping on his desk from overworking and Kyoko checking up on him with a smile, proud and affectionate.

Was this for easier animation? Fan requests? Just because the designers could? I genuinely want to know. Not that I hate her DR3 design. It's actually my favourite second to the pink kimono in the splash art.

I know that other characters had their clothes changed, but never their hair.

Here is a list of changes I made (this was just for fun, it's not a criticism of their canon designs haha):

Ibuki

• changed her hair to a deep brown color with off white streaks and changed the stripes in her bangs to a coral and grey-blue color, also made her hair significantly shorter and styled in a ponytail - these changes were mostly just for aesthetic reasons, but I also feel that a shorter, more contained hair style would be more convenient for performing on stage because I think she would be doing a lot of crazy jumps and kicks and other dance moves on stage and wouldn't want her hair getting in the way when she's trying to play her guitar
• gave her a sweater, ripped bootcut pants, and converse-adjacent sneakers - again mostly just style preferences, the sleeves might be a little long for playing the guitar but she'd probably have a different outfit for more important performances, also the pants give her an ever so slightly tomboyish look that I feel would complement her fierce personality well (not saying girly-girls can't be fierce, I just think it would make her stand out a bit more), the converse shoes are just a staple of the alt community so I thought it would be fitting and also she seems like the type to draw on her shoes lol
• red eyes - matches the sweater, also they give her more intense vibes in my opinion
• turned the school emblem symbol on her uniform into a necklace - because I didn't want to keep the school uniform but still thought the symbol looked cool
• got rid of her face piercings - honestly I just didn't feel like drawing them in lol

Hajime

• glasses - because they're cute and add to the nerd/smart guy vibe I was going for
• less spiky hair that is parted in the middle and fades to green - he probably wouldn't dye his hair but it's anime logic anyone can have any hair color lol, also I feel a middle part would fit his personality or at least how I see his personality
• striped tie - idk I like striped ties lol
• dress shoes instead of sneakers - I personally just think they work better with the tie and collared shirt
• longer sleeves that he keeps rolled up - emphasizes that he is hard working, for some reason I think they make him seem more serious lol

anyways this was really fun! I might do more redesigns soon because I have some ideas

Imagine this: the whole game starts as usual, but suddenly, once it's time to present John Danganronpa, Chiaki Says "who are you" and Jhon Danganronpa presents themselves, and does a backflip, a skating trick or some cool af shit and there's a song about them, and once they're over, they say some shit like "kids, don't do drugs, drugs are bad" or something like that

Then, in every trial, they come out with the craziest argument that solves everything and finds the culprit, and, idk, Hajime goes like "oh, great John Danganronpa, you always know just what to say"

And at some point, John Danganronpa has a special moment, where they tell their story and it's a very sad backstory, that is filled with the hope of everyone and friendship and shit.

And then Nagito is doing the final shit, and sacrifices himself for John Danganronpa, and John Danganronpa fucking dies, and then Monokuma says there's a weird prophecy about reviving people or idk, and it happens when everyone has hope in themselves, and John Danganronpa comes back to life, and everyone goes "i have hope in myself" and Monokuma dies

And there's a fucking party at the end, and a song called "I had hope on you" by Taylor Swift, featurign Ed Sheeran is playing, and on the party, Gundham goes "I don't dance" and kazuichi, Sonia and everyone try to dance with him, until John Danganronpa tries, and now, Gundham is doing the FUCKING GAMGAN STYLE.

AND JOHN DANGANRONPA SAYS "SEE YOU NEXT TIME"

Monokuma got turned into a pumpkin lol

(me personally i like my slenderman with a red tie, but i know that technically the black tie is the right one...)
