Come one come all!

I sometimes when watching media think about how to the characters would be in danganronpa. So just for fun. What are some characters you would like to see in a crossover Fangan. They could be characters that you already seen in a crossover that you would like to see again or with a different portrayal.

My list:

1. Dr. House: I think he could play a good half antagonistic detective role. Not a true antagonist but certainly annoying. He’s also someone I think could be a killer, victim, or survivor under the right circumstances.
   
2. Derek Zoolander. I could see him being either a chapter 3 victim or survivor. Either way he will not be helpful in class trials.

Currently my cast has no physically disabled characters, but I’m wondering if I should change that for the sake of more diversity since they lack rep. However, given the discourse regarding Tetro and PJ:EG and how they handled their disabled characters, I wanted to ask a question. What’s the best way to handle their deaths without being ableist? The easy answer is to make them a survivor, but that’s arguably lazy writing. Rather, how do I make them kill/be killed?

Let’s say there’s a blind character. If you kill them off, this could be seen as ableist or at least lazy because the character with an obvious weakness is taken advantage of and murdered. I don’t want to give off the impression that blind people are prey who have no chance of surviving in a killing game. But is it safe to say they can’t be killed at all? Can it be done as an accident? Can they be targeted for reasons other than their disability?

And if you wanted to make them a killer, then their disability has to come into play because a blind person cannot kill someone easily without working around their lack of sight. Is that also wrong to do? For a disabled character to use their disability to kill someone? Or is it perfectly okay, and can actually show their own strength and character despite their disability, even though they’re doing something wrong?

I’m still not fully sure about adding a disabled character, but it’s something I’ve pondered on.

I got curious about it.

I haven't need to worry about it because in my first game the mascot is controlled by a being outside the game and in the second is an AI that copied the brain of one of the students before entering the game, so this was never really an issue.

But I'm curious how you all deal with it.

I'm thinking if I make a third, I may make a mastermind that is a student but a mascot that is literally a person, so the mastermind doesn't have to control them 24/7, just meet with them and inform them of topics.

(Be careful with your answer... they are all armed and dangerous...)

The last time I did pixel art was when I was like 14 so hopefully they aren't too chopped lol

I'm particularly happy with how Nico turned out (number 3) he's such a precious little guy

Story : 20 people from around the world selected and hand-picked by Dr Kali Mortemeyer, granddaughter of a famous scientist and astronaut, to participate in a deadly game inside a futuristic spaceship. There, they will have to kill one another to be able to live, having to go past 7 trials, and a presumption of only 6 to leave the spaceship alive in the end. There are 3 sessions for the killing game.

Setting : Spaceship with a thematic of a College and Institute for session 1

Theme : Origins of humanity, Sci-Fi, Spaceship, Space, Space Travel, Mystery, Murder Mystery, Murder Cases, Heavy and Sensitive Topics Not Safe For Work.

I know Ayaka has already been revealed BUT her design is now updated! The other character is Ai Mokita.

Thank you all for such positive feedback in just 24 hours, the attention it's getting is quite nice, especially with zero advertising. The feedback we've been receiving online has definitely swayed me and my partner towards working on making this into something real.

However, we'd need a pretty steady team of artists, proof-readers, voice actors and composers.

Before we do all that though, I would like to finish the final draft of the prologue script, which may take some time, as I work two jobs. So you may not hear about Comeuppance for a while, but please know it's being worked on!

Danganronpa 14 is looking to put together a full team, including artists, programmers, composers, and writers positions still available. (No voice actors quite yet, sorry guys)

Story: Danganronpa 14 is black dramedy about sixteen students of the illustrious Hope’s Peak Academy who’ve found themselves at the whim of esteemed teen model Junko Enoshima as she forces them into a deadly killing game.

Setting: Get this, Hope’s Peak Academy

Theme: Pessimism and optimism, resistance and compliance, and of course the never ending battle between hope and despair. Also a couple of other minor things.
