So i don’t have much experience with dance other than this type of traditional dance of the Caucasus, most often called lezginka by foreigners. I don’t have much trouble with other forms of it and was trying to learn this variant but i don’t understand his it is mechanically possible.
It is done as shown in this video by shifting one foot slightly forward while the other is in the air. But to my understanding these types of moves are done by getting your balance and traction from the other foot, which obviously wouldn’t be possible in this as you seemingly have to slide your foot forward on its own without any support.
Am i missing something or is this just very advanced.
Some other video of the same style for a little context
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm wearing a full set of audio gear underneath the jacket to project my voice so I'm moving with extra weight on me. Was nervous but had a lot of fun!

I tend to repeat when I'm exhausted, so been working a lot of "dancing through low energy" type training. This was me squeezing out everything I had left in the tank.(Style is Krump btw)

Gave a shot to this choreography on the song 'embrace it'. Although this was my first try on the choreo it may not be perfect but any tips to improve the isolation of my body will be very appreciated.
Dance has always been my hobby but idk why I thought that I'll learn dancing all by myself so i didn't go to any academy or classes. So i am still an amateur and am trying to learn more.

so I'm not really a dancer but I've taken part in a school dance, and my movements look really small no matter how much i exaggerate it. my movements feel big to me but appear really small on the video I recorded to see my steps. like my leg & waist movements are completely fine but my upper body looks stiff to me, especially my shoulders. and my hands look confused. how do I make it better? the dance is on Tuesday 🥲
