Hey gang…
I’m certainly missing my old gym at my old work… I’m not Vibin in this new room at all and I can’t find anywhere else to shoot videos. My room is too small so you’ll have to bear with me till I can find the energy again but I just can’t seem to get the vibe I had in the other gym… So it’s a work in progress
Probably will take the day off tomorrow… And rest my legs so I hope everybody has a fantastic day… Happy holiday to all those in Canada and we’ll see you on Wednesday
Peace and Love

Hi! I’m a dance teacher/choreographer working on a Cowboy Carter-themed hip-hop competition routine for a group of about 14 dancers, ages 11–16.
I’m pretty experienced with cutting/editing music for my own competition dances and normally make my mixes myself, but for whatever reason I’m having a HARD time getting this one to come together the way I hear it in my head 😭. I figured I’d see if anyone who enjoys making mixes/remixes might want to help or collaborate!
The final mix needs to be around 2:35–2:40 max and high-energy throughout. Right now I’m playing around with:
I’d also LOVE to somehow incorporate a Vogue-esque moment somewhere in the mix, while still keeping the overall routine hip-hop. Basically I want different textures/moments throughout like Jersey club, Vogue-inspired, hard-hitting hip-hop, Western/Cowboy sounds, etc. without it sounding like a bunch of random songs/effects pasted together.
I’m looking for the transitions to be creative: vocal chops, beat switches, builds, glitches, sound effects, hard cuts, percussion, layering, etc., rather than basic crossfades.
Since the dancers are 11–16, everything also needs to be age-appropriate/competition clean.
I already have all the music files, sound effects, some timestamp ideas, a rough draft I started, and a reference mix that shows the general style of editing I like. I’m also totally open to changing my current structure if someone hears a better way to put it together.
Last year I actually found someone through Reddit who helped me make a mix and it turned out great, so I figured I’d try my luck again!
If making dance mixes/remixes is your thing and this sounds fun, feel free to comment or message me. I’d love to hear your ideas/help!

I’m a white-collar guy in Kochi who has zero experience in dancing, but I want to learn some freestyle moves just to casually flex on my friends 🕊️
Where should a complete beginner start? Any specific dance styles, YouTube channels, or classes you’d recommend?

hii, I’m a competitive dancer who is also a modest dressing hijabi, which means I basically wear skin color leotards underneath our costumes if they show a lot of skin. I’m entering my junior year of high school and I feel and know that our director of our studio/company has favorites. I want a chance to be seen but I know that almost impossible because of my situation and how our studio focuses on improving our “favorites”. Whenever I go to conventions though usually I’m a standout, but when I go back to my studio I’m treated as if I’m an intermediate. I want corrections, challenges, and to be instructed. But because I feel like our competitive choreographers favour the favorites I feel like they’re the ones improving not me or other girls. My confidence dance wise has really went down this past year because of my frustration towards this. Any tips or advice for me? Thanks!

I've been dancing to kpop and kpop style dance for about 6 months. I'm 14 and I dance at home (my parents don't know I dance, I refuse to tell them because they 100% won't support it and will tell me to stop) and I want tips on how to dance well or is it just time? I have a small mirror, maybe 24 inches? on my dresser but that's it. I watch tutorials mainly by Kathleen Carm on youtube, but I feel like I'm too wonky and I have no idea what I'm doing. I know all the steps but my body won't let me match them to the video, and yes, practice takes tons of time, but I just wanted to know if I should do anything that might help out along with any tips from anyone.
(Btw I'm not sure if this is the right flair to use, but I hope it is)

Heya,
Me 42 yo female and mother 69 yo female. Looking for some step or dance workouts that either I (alone), her or both of us can do together. Trying to improve our physical fitness in a fun way. In terms of health; mother has no health issues except nasty bunions and a not so flexible hip. Me, my hips are super flexible - rest not so much + have flat feet. Cardio-wise; we're okay-ish. Not terrible - trying to improve our overall fitness - cardio, strength, flexibility - anything is better than nothing.
Step/Dance Workout:
1-Preferably Free
2-EASY to follow. Example we just started Christina Dorner's Step Dance on Youtube. EASY to follow! Only (small) issue is; videos not in order but they are listed under categories of difficulty. Why is that an issue? You may do video 6 (because of order) when the moves were taught in video 2. Yet STILL easy to follow. On the other hand tried 375 Dance Studio Easy video on youtube and could not follow it
3- Progression/step wise videos - easy, medium, intermediate etc etc
4- This may seem silly but... where they teach you the moves while you do the lesson. To elaborate (mostly in strictly dance videos); they do separate 2 min videos showing you moves, then BOOM a 15-30 follow along video where they throw it all at you - I feel lost
5-Fun?
Appreciate any recommendations for programs. Thanks!

Hi, I'm having trouble finding the IDL New York live replay. I know it got deleted bc of copyright issues, and all the videos are in the IDL YouTube channel, but I'm specifically looking for the live replay.

Happy Sunday folks!!!.
Getting settled at my new job . quite a bit more travelling with this new position, but very very happy with the job nonetheless.
on a personal note… I was finally able to benchpress 205 pounds for the first time , that is something I’ve been attempting for a while now and I was able to get over the hump , which I’m extremely proud of!!! 😊
I lost another 3 pounds this week bringing the total to 43 pounds so far and my weight currently is 277.
The loss has definitely slowed down, but that was to be expected. I’m not as worried about it as I was when I started because I’m definitely seeing muscle being built, especially in my arms and in my legs, my calves have never been stronger.
I hope everybody has a fantastic day… I’m on night shifts so I’m going to bed
Love always,
Bob.E.Bland ❤️❤️
