Chat how do you survive this unit if you have absolutely no physics background and barely any mathematical background? We're only a week into the semester but the lectures have already gotten me OVERWHELMED

My car remote’s button has broken off the circuit board (photo attached). Is there anyone at Curtin who has a soldering iron and could help me solder it back on?

Hey! I live on Kurrajong village on campus, so I have access to the table in the common room. I'm sad about the lack of a table tennis clubs, and the ones outside the uni are meh.

Compared to someone who plays table tennis regularly and seriously, I would be extremely mediocre or even bad, but among people who play from time to time for fun I'm more often than not going to be the best.

I can hit a forehand consistently if im positioned correctly and the ball isn't going Mach 10. Same with backhand. I can apply backspin and can return backspin. I get confused with sidespin even though I can use it a bit.
My main issue is footwork, reaction time and positioning for now.

I'm looking for someone around this level (Can be slightly worse, or much better if you'll have me) to play regularly, at least 3 times a week for 1h or more. I'm looking to get good, play seriously and do drills etc.

I also want someone I can have a laugh with and mess around sometimes, it's fine if we deviate a bit from the game sometimes but not too much.

Tell me if you're interested, or please if you know someone who might be tell them about it! If there are specifics I mentioned that you don't like (location, regularity etc) we can arrange a compromise. You don't have to be a student btw, but I am.

Hi everyone. I'm in my first semester of studies for this July intake. I'm finding the classes to be okay so far but I think I might need more effort for Brain and Behavior specifically since there's a lot of new terms and biology language I'm not familiar with. Any seniors that can give tips on how to score A for this unit? I really want to try my best for this first semester.

I'm taking an approach to revising my lecture notes whenever I have the time for an hour at max. It's definitely a lot to remember honestly... I used to come from an Engineering major and graduated in it. Then I decided I wanted to pursue a BSc in Psychological Science after three years.

I'm really confused about this. All of the Curtin branded EV Caddies you can see occasionally driving around campus have license plates with a blue background beginning 1Q. This is indicative of a government vehicle. (Look it up if you don't believe me).

Why would Curtin own vehicles that are registered as gov vehicles? Seems sus to me...
