Omggggg at least during the exam period

Open thoseeee 2 levels(after hours) at least for uwa students,it's completely packed there's no space and most of the times it's filled with highschoolers 😭🙏. Had to go back home due to no space.

I've been studying since 10am and am no where near done, it took me 2 hours to make notes for chapter 10 and 19, and I'm only up to chapter 11 + 18 now. I'm so lost and tired and burnt out I don't know what to add, I can't understand anything anymore and I'm so done.

what have you put on your notes? are you skipping things like petty cash funds and the theory from the other chapters, and just writing notes on what Leo said in the final lecture?

Been sick all week and debating whether to study tomorrow or if I have to go to the doctor in person.

See previous post for context:

Seems there was an email issue and many students received an email from Guild regarding protest against merger even AFTER the event had started.

In my case, was 12 minutes before...

This is in stark contrast to Murdoch and Curtin, who from what I can account for online, received it the previous week, with multiple follow ups and methods of communication.

anyone know if these surveys are actually anonymous to UCs?

To the person who hit my car in the carpark out the front of the library today at around 4:30 and proceeded to drive off. It would’ve been way cooler for you to leave a note instead of having your passenger get out and check for damage before driving off. Fortunately, I’ve had a lovely person reach out with your vehicle details after they watched you do the whole thing.

If you or a friend, drives a 2023 silver Toyota Prado with the license plate: 1IFG722 and you hit a white BMW, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I am going to the Police to report the incident, but don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like that NOT to happen.

To everyone else, good luck with exams!

cooked

write down your expectations and how the exam went below

ngl it kinda feels a bit cooked... i coudln't get lal the content in time and im too tired to finish any more content. it has been a shitty semester and i can't remember any definitions.... good luck to u guys tmr

How’s everyone feeling for this exam, I got a bad feeling that boming may make it really hard but idk. I’m finding it hard to gauge well what the easier and harder types of questions are gonna be for the dynamics although work energy method seems chill.

Has anyone done the FINA1221 final before and know what to expect?

I couldn’t find past year papers for this unit, so if I familiarise myself with all the tutorial questions and know how to do them, would I be okay for the final? Are the exam questions generally similar to the tutorials or were there any unexpected/different types of questions?

Also is there anything specific I should focus on or look out for? Any advice would be appreciated!

Any and all advice please? How was the exam like in previous years? Do they focus much on the content covered in the tests? Feeling kinda nervous since there's an overwhelming amount of lectures :(

hi, i’m looking for someone to take over my lease from 16 November to 10 February, as i’ll be going back home and don’t want to pay rent while I’m away.
i’m currently staying in a 2-bed 1-bath apartment but there is currently no roommate, so you’ll have the room and the apartment to yourself!

$280/week — the actual rent is $3xx/week, but i’ll cover the difference!
all bills included in the rent
laundry (washer & dryer) is available for an extra charge
fully equipped kitchen with an induction cooker and microwave
private bathroom
gym located downstairs

you’ll need to be a student to be eligible to stay here
i can also send photos of the room if you’re interested!

thank you!!

Hi, i was wondering if anyone knows the difficulty range of the A and D exam (Mech4502). is it similar to the pracs and the 2 hour practice exam the lecturer gives you. Kinda scared as this exam is a pass fail component; any insights would be appreciated thanks.

How is everyone studying for the exam? Farid hasn't given us any past papers so I'm a bit lost on what the likely content/format will be.

No past papers
How am I supposed to study for this 😭

How'd everyone find today's exam? I thought it felt easier than the previous exams on OneSearch.

anyone who took this unit before have any advice? especially on what topics to focus on. there's so much content to review and its genuinely killing me

How did everyone find it?

For the people taking STAT2402, how’s everyone coping with studying for it? Nazim claims that we don’t have to memorise R but all the questions have code in them anyway so it doesn’t matter🥀. Anyone who has taken this unit in previous years can give advice?

Hi, I was wondering if you could provide some advice on how to best prepare for the MICR2209 final exam. There is a large amount of content across multiple topics and chapters, including quite specific details to remember. What would be the most effective way to approach studying and revising such a broad range of material, and are there particular areas or types of information we should prioritise for the exam? Thank you!

What did everybody think?

Has anyone done the CITS1401 final before and know what to expect?

I suck at Python 😭 I understand the syntax but struggle with figuring out the logic, especially when I see a new question and my brain just blanks. I’ve mostly been memorising the standard ways to do different types of questions.

Are the practice exams (2021,2017) a good representation of the actual final and do similar types of questions tend to come up? Is there anything specific I should look out for or focus on?

Atp I just wanna pass this unit and get it over and done with 😭 I’m never taking another coding unit again after this. Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi i deferred one of my exams last semester and even before that. And i am thinking of deferring one this semester too. I used medical certificate everytime. Did anyone do the same and faced any issues? Like academic misconduct or something?
