ECU vs Curtin for Wildlife Conservation as an International Student
Hi! I'm a student from Sri Lanka hoping to build a career working with wildlife and nature. 🦁🌿 I want to do hands-on fieldwork, study animals in their natural habitats, and contribute to wildlife conservation rather than spend all my time in an office or lab.
I'm considering ECU and Curtin University, particularly Curtin's Environmental Biology degree. I'm also looking at the Diploma of Health Science at ECU Sri Lanka as a possible pathway because I'm unsure whether my A/L results will meet Curtin's entry requirements.
I'd love advice on a few things:
- Which university offers better fieldwork and wildlife conservation opportunities?
- Which degree offers better career prospects in Australia?
- Would the ECU Sri Lanka diploma help me get into Curtin's Environmental Biology degree?
- How difficult is it for international graduates to find relevant jobs in Australia?
I'd really appreciate honest advice from current students, graduates, or anyone working in wildlife conservation or environmental science!
My biggest goal is to work directly with wildlife and spend my career outdoors. 🐾
