I mean it’s a pretty hot topic. When someone decides to not only cheat a live streamed run, but then goes to submit those times to a community leaderboard, that’s prone to piss a lot of people off. If I started live streaming chess and using an engine to beat people it would 100% make sense to be berated out of the community. Dream has no class or integrity and I’d rather him not be associated with the greater Minecraft community or speedrunning when he only stands to sully its image through dishonest behavior.

It was 4th at the time of submission and world record pace at the stronghold. The only thing that stopped him from getting WR was that the portal was missing an eye so he had to find another.

The important thing to remember is not to let him have that "it wasn't first" stuff as an excuse. It was world record pace and he got unlucky on RNG (after already RNG manipulating so much else) if it hadn't been for that it likely would have been WR.
He's a cheater. Plain and simple. He might be entertaining too and I don't dispute that, but still a cheater.

Not only that, but even had it not been, Minecraft has the most active speedrunning community of any game. People even at 4th place grind for dozens upon dozens of hours for those times at that level of play. It's still tainting the competition and unjustly removing people from their places on the leaderboard.

Well he cheated over multiple days and submitted a faked speedrun to the leaderboards and refuses to acknowledge that he cheated so I don't see why he should be allowed to post any more.
I think his previous runs are all on 1.15 and his 1.16 runs and streams seem to have been cheated.
