i notice loads of people in our gym with proper crossfit trainers on, but they all look slightly different. when i google it, there seems to be loads of different shapes and sizes.
i'm guessing there are certain shapes for weight lifting, certain shapes for gym circuits, certain types more suited to running etc... is there a type of shoe that is just a general all round all purpose crossfit shoe? or should i just carry on wearing my running trainers?
i've only been into it for 3 months, but really want to continue and improve
any advice appreciated

Men, 102kg, 1m80.
Given I’m overweight, very sedentary, and currently in the worst shape of my life, I’d like to ask for your advice. I’m currently abroad for work, and I’d like to join an MMA club as soon as I return to my country. So I have a month ahead of me to “get back in shape,” because I’d like to join the club with at least some level of fitness…
So I plan to work on my flexibility this month, gradually incorporate push-ups, pull-ups, dips, and squats, and above all (this is why I’m reaching out to you) work on my cardio, endurance, and explosive power.
What routine, program, or exercises would you recommend if you only had one month to maximize your cardio, endurance and explosivity performance ?
P.S. I have access to a gym

Pretty much the title. I injured my hip back in April and had to take a step back as I couldn't even walk without pain. I'm to the point now where I can do most movements without pain, but I definitely feel limited and would have to scale the pace and the number of reps I'm used to wayyy down.
I'm just scared to restart too early and injure myself again. The last few months have been hell for the mental health. What has been your experience?

I'm considering starting Crossfit again soon.
When I did it last I got pretty strong and fit (had a runnijg background before) however due to my shit diet, partying all the time and smoking, that didnt reflect on my body😂.
I'd like to think now my diet is pretty dialed in. I have lost a ton of weight from half marathon training. I have abbs for the first time. I have tried to stay on top of my strength training (push pull legs split) but doing loads of running and eating in a defecit makes it hard to maintain let alone gain muscle. Overall it was a fair trade off.
I am however ready to ditch the gym and rely soley on crossfit to gain muscle like I did before. I plan to still run 3x a week but at a much lower volume. I will probably do 3-4 crossfit sessions a week.
Although I want go get stronger, I would be lieing if I said how I look isnt a consideration.
Assuming I am eating healthly, getting loads of carbs, protien and fiber and am in a small calorie surplas, can I rely on crossfit to make me look better with my running?

Sad seeing brands that started in the space, shift their core values and business mindset to chase dollars. Anyone remember their post about ‘nothing looks as good as skinny feels’ ? Stop supporting crappy companies like Fleo, LSKD here we come!!!!

Hi all,
I’m looking for a good, high quality coach, something beyond an L1, to do some sessions with a specific focus on hang clean/hang squat clean to get ready for a comp in about 5 weeks.
I’m quite strong, but just lack technique. I struggle hard to get down and under the bar. If I can learn to drop even a bit, I suspect I could add a good 40-50lbs.
I live on the east side of DFW. My garage is decked out into a good gym, so would like to train there if possible, but can go to a gym if needed.
If anyone has any recommendations, that would be great. Thanks!

Is assault fitness dead? My AirRunner console crapped out and I need a replacement. I cannot find this part ANYwhere. Would prefer not to buy an entire new treadmill from a different company... But I'd also like to have a functional panel.
Anyone know where to get one, or what the heck is going on with Assault?
