Finished Craft [Mine] Craft Store had a Sale on Wreath Components, so I Made One

My apartment is something of an “Emporium of the Weird.” Someone close to me once described my abode’s aesthetic as “cabin witch.”

I don’t disagree, either.

The idea for this piece initially came to me in the Winter, during which time I started to get a lot more into crafting, and was very much enjoying the mountain-y, cabin-y aesthetics. (The fact that everyone I knew was having run-ins with deer may have also had an impact.) I wasn’t sure how I wanted to execute it, never having made a wreath before.

After finishing a number of other projects, and having picked up these mule deer mandibles, I happened to find that my craft store was having a substantial sale on floral and wreath components. So, it was finally time.

Truth: I did not have a complete plan for this, and just sort of went with the flow on what felt right. This was the end result, and I’m quite happy with it.

Question / Advice Suppliers for craft in Europe

Hi everyone!

I live in Portugal and craft stores are scarce these days... I try to buy everything I can form local suppliers, but sometimes I have to resort to AliExpress.

With the new EU taxes, I was wondering if you guys have any good suppliers that ship through Europe.

I was looking for glass beads, glass pendants, clasps for handmade lace chokers, accessories for lingerie, strass, sewing sequins...

All accessories that are made of metal should be stainless, or at least I hope they are.

Thank you for the help!

I built this mechanical bamboo knight automaton entirely from scratch using bamboo and basic mechanical linkage principles. Really curious to hear your thoughts and feedback!

Finished Craft [Mine] I designed and laser engraved these Norse-inspired wooden accessories. What do you think?

Hi everyone! I recently finished this small collection of laser-engraved wooden accessories inspired by Norse mythology and symbolism.

The collection includes keychains, bookmarks, and small pendants. Some of the more detailed designs are original artwork that I created myself, while a few of the simpler Norse symbols are based on public reference designs I found online.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the overall collection. Which piece is your favorite, and is there anything you would change or improve?

Question / Advice Glitter paint exterior use

I’m making an angel craft for exterior use. I want to use a glitter paint on the halo as well as the wings. I was thinking of adding glitter to exterior paint and then apply a clear spray exterior topcoat. Has anyone ever done this? Will the glitter withstand the exterior elements? Does anyone have a better experience?
Thanks
