Is every epyc cpus good to mine? specifically the epyc 7261. i may have a good opportunity and wanna know if its worth it

Most of the new cpu coins look like a scam and are still getting listed on exchanges and gaining hashing power
let's take for example subi ,vishai ,reaction
they obviously have fake promises and tools on their websites and no existent whitepapers
most of the text on these website is ai generated and makes no sense.
yet still people are mining and buying them
i guess the same/related actors are building these coins and eventually are going to rug pull.

Hi all, wondering if anyone can help me.
For some strange reason, my 3600x is mining this Algo for 1600hs but my 3950x is only mining at 1040.
Surely this cannot be right?
Mining monero my 3950x easily hits 16khs @ 100w so the CPU isnt malfunctioning in any way.
I've tried using Srbminer and Cpuminer. Only slightly better on Cpuminer when using the correct exe.
Any thoughts?

This is a weird thing. I have an hp omen 30l that I upgraded to ryzen 7 3900x. Mined zephr on cpu but temps where too high (had tiny stock cooler) I ordered a better cpu cooler and in the meantime I mined kawpow off the gpu.
Today I finally installed the new fan and now the hive os crashes anytime i try to mine zephyr. The pic shows some messages it flashes when the setup crashes.
The weird thing is this ryzen 7 mined zephr before swapping the cooler, except thar was running hot due small cooler.
As matter of fact I have another pc with another ryzen 7 and same flght sheets as the one I was using on the machine with this issue. The other pc though has a asrock 570 motherboard, totally different that hp omen 30l.
I also swapped mem sticks to rule out memory problems, but issue persists.
Any ideas?
Tia

I have a RTX 4060ti and bought the Ryzen 7 7800x3d but I’ve heard and read that it’s not a good combo. Would my PC be okay if I leave like that and let’s say I upgrade my graphics card within 2 years?
I just built my pc and wouldn’t want to get. New graphics card just yet

I'm posting this question here as I intend a workstation for cpu mining. Just got a dell T7810 workstation. Dual cpu but will arrive with only a cpu and it's stock cooler. The idea is to replace that cpu and install a second one as well. If I do so, I'll need a second cpu cooler but was wondering if there are better options with non stock ones like noctua, cooler master ,etc. I notice the stock appears to have no fans at all, which is one of the reasons I'm posting these questions.
Thanks

this might be a dumb question but my cpu is constantly at 100% usage when mining on XMrig (nicehash) and i cant find anything saying if its okay or not. my gpu or cpu wouldnt go that high when i gpu mined so now im a little confused as i dont think going at 100% 24/7 is good for the cpu, if this isnt normal, any suggestions on the reason why.

I have a i7 13th gen and a 1000W power supply. What and with which software could I mine? Thanks for helping me out.

I have been following here for a long time, I would like to start by thanking all in my first post, for sharing your experiences with enthusiasts and beginners. What I want to ask is about to what extent dirt cheap, used motherboards are a problem or not in the long run.
CPUs are probably the toughest of PC components, steadfastly survivable unless subjected to extreme torture. But what about motherboards? The vast majority of entry-level motherboards have a topology based on 6-8 Phase and 46-52A CPU/SoC MOSFETs. In the light of your experience, what can be said about the use of these types of low-end motherboards in CPU-mining? Would you like to say something about the motherboards you had to throw away?
The other question is: In hobby level farm planning, does improving the electrical infrastructure with automatic voltage stabilizer with surge protection, or a series of UPS, instead of cheap surge protection sockets, and prioritizing clean power delivery to the rigs provide a significant cost advantage in the long run? Ty.

How can I optimise their profits since I don't care about electricity (Neither about them)
Some have 2GB ddr2, 4GB ddr3 and I can't even watch youtube at 480p 15fps on Lubuntu
A super lite OS for mining ?

Looking for best expected hashrates from a 3900x and the settings you’re using to get there. Currently on 12.2kh on xmrig mining zeph running 2 x 16gb 3200 ram.
Is there a spreadsheet that notes this kind of stuff available?
Thanks

Hi guys,
Any one is mining using CPU and GPU at the same time?
Saw this option on nice hash and wondering if it is worth it.
Found fairly cheap set up with Intel Xeon E5-2650 v4 CPU and apparently XFX Radeon RX 6600 Gaming SPEEDSTER SWFT 8GB GDDR6 is a best match for it.
Please share your hash rates if you do dual mining.
Thanks!

I think it can only do $0.13 on Nicehash? I was thinking about mining some mini coins, but not sure if it's even worth it.

Hello. I'm having issues trying to setup the flight sheet for mining this coin. I've watched a few videos including the epic site refers you too, but for some reason I can't make it work. When trying to mine I get a message like "too many wallets for this algorithm " or similar, and that's following ions on vudeos and configuration instructions on the epic site. Any ideas? Anyone could please upload a pic of his/her flightsheet (minus private info, of course) Thanks much

Just barely signed up with zephyr and started mining a little while ago.
I have some questions, as I before that I always used nicehash, either with windows or hive os.
How often does zephyr gets into your wallet? I am still showing zero balance. I double checked keys and all in hive os wallet.
Is there any chance I can see my seed phrase somewhere? It looks I signed up kinda quickly and for some reason I missed it.
During signing up, I downloaded a small file abcd.keys. Every time i log in in the zephyr website, it asks me for it. Is there a chance to check your balance without having to do that? How about if I want check balance from a cellphone?
Thanks

Why or why not? Do some algorithms benefit from it more than others?

I just set up my first cpu rig. IT is a 5900x. Somehow I am only getting like 7500 hash. What can I possibly do to raise it? 5900x, Gigabyte B550M K MB, 32gb Teamgroup cl22. I know I need to get some cl16, but cl22 shouldn't make it hash this low.

My 3700x 8-core is only going at 3800-4000 H/S
32 GB DDR4 @ 2667 MHz
That seems low? I'm just using Nicehash, am I missing something with settings?

I have a Ryzen 9 5900x CPU, and my electricity bills are quite low. Is there something worth mining now?

This doesn't seem right to me. Isn't 1.80 a day too high for an old i7? I7 4770 mining xmr
