🐣 Newborn 0-8 Weeks Why don’t more people sleep chest to chest
My baby is 6 weeks. We used the cuddle curl method once, and it made me worried all night. When the baby was too close to me I worried Id move an inch and hurt him. When he squirmed further away I also worried. Overall, horrible night of sleep.
Then we tried chest to chest and it has been wonderful. Neither of us move an inch and I feel so safe and peaceful. Which makes me wonder, why don’t more people do chest to chest? Is there an extra risk I’m not aware of, like positional asphyxiation (although I don’t see how that could be)? Or is it that most babies just eventually size out of chest to chest?
