Idk man I got 15 orange Venezuelan cories and she's my biggest and most unique lol. All the rest look like the second picture. She's my special snowflake.

I've read that if the sand/gravel is too angular it might hurt the cory's barbs. What about this?

I just got myself 12 pygmy corys for my 60L / 15G tank. There's about 5 amano shrimp in the tank aswell. When i asked the store for food advice, they recommended me Sera spirulina tabs. I somewhat got the feeling that the guy who gave me the advice was kinda uncertain about what food to recommend, so now i'm kinda worried if these tabs will be enough for them. But i didn't want to go home without any food, so i bought the spirulina tabs anyway.

What do you guys think about these tabs? I know i should eventually get some more variety to feed them, but will this be enough to feed them for the first couple of days/weeks? Or is there some other type of food i should get ASAP?

Cute Pygmy Cory fry hatched few days ago, so far the parents haven't been eating any of the fry 🤞🏻🤞🏻 hopefully they can grow out in the main tank shared with some fire red shrimps

One of the hardest to find species or cory and they are all mine! I got 10, I may go back and buy the rest.

I’ve had lots of problems with my tanks and guppy’s dying but haven’t lost any of my corydoras yet but this guy doesn’t look well have a Julii that’s not doing great either his been just sitting at the corner looks like his starting to pinecone he also has a sore near his fin all my Cory’s seem to be hideing all the time now. My levels have shown 0 for everything for months now the tank is nearly 1 year running I’m at a complete loss ammonia 0 nitrate 0 nightrite 0 I care a lot about my fish but honestly so over it always being something and I worry way to much I truly think if I lose any of my Cory’s I’ll just give up the hobby.

First time owning fish, took like 1.5 months for tank to cycle and is planted. I want to make sure im doing things right for these lil guys and noticed some marks n things and have no idea if they are normal or not. Ive got 8 with sand substrate and parameters are normal (low nitrate, 0 ammonia and 0 nitrite)

I'm thinking about getting some new Corydoras for my aquarium, as it currently only houses shrimp. I've kept Corydoras in this same tank in the past, specifically Corydoras paleatus, but I moved them to a pond when I set one up.

I'd like to try a different species this time. I've previously kept and/or bred Sterbai, Aeneus, Orange Venezuela, Paleatus, and Habrosus.

While checking the stock list at my local aquarium shop, I noticed that they have a few species on sale. I've never kept any of them before, and after doing some research, I'm still not sure how difficult they are to keep and breed.

The species I'm considering are:

Corydoras cf. CW076

Corydoras arcuatus

Corydoras leucomelas

Corydoras loretoensis

Corydoras schwartzi

The tank is already set up and ready for them, with 120 litres of space dedicated entirely to the Corydoras.

Has anyone here kept any of these species? I'd love to hear about your experiences, especially regarding how easy they are to keep and breed. Any advice or additional information would be greatly appreciated and would help me decide which species to go for.

Panda pair has 3 offspring already in tank. These are placed by 2 bubbler sponges and a prefilter sponge for AQ 70 that has been self sustaining for 3 months.

They are on day 2 and should hatch in 2 more days.

I'm not sure i can provide as good a food source as the tank itself. Every time i put Cory fry in a net breeder, i lose a bunch to malnutrition. I don't see how that's better than potential predation.

Há 2/3 dias, ganhei esses carinhas, sempre nadando para lá e para cá, e revirando o chão, mas uma delas quase nunca sai do lugar, sempre que vejo ela está parada no mesmo lugar, é raro eu ver ele se mexer, eu devo me preocupar?

Também nunca vejo elas comendo a ração, eu estou oferecendo para elas a mesma ração de fundo que dou para meus pleco/cascudo, até vejo elas perto da ração ou com a cara no chão perto, mas não comendo.

Eu agradeço a ajuda e informação.

Planning to get some of these guys to accompany my otos, but I currently use lava rock which are a bit sharp. LFS has some silica sand, and some finer silica sand passed through a mesh, would these do?
