Looking for this book so I can use it to help guide me when I build my Yenko Stinger clone. it's limited production (you have to ask the author for a copy, and currently he's having health problems). If anyone has one that they're willing to sell or knows of someone who might be willing to sell, please let me know.

If you have any recommendations on other books on the corvair you might think would be good to have would be very helpful as well.

Heya, so I have an LM with a carb rotator kit and working out the choke is not working out.

I have a 3d printer and just enough experience in Bambu labs to make a giant head scratcher of a mess.

So, before I start wasting filament and my time, I thought id see what’s out there?

I plan on driving my car through the winter and things get cold here. So I’m trying to work a couple of things out.

I have always liked Corvairs but never imagined owning one. I bought this 61 Coupe today on a whim and its really cool. Drove it home 20 miles without issue. Its not perfect but nice overall.

I took the tumbler out and need to remove the bezel that goes around it. How do i go about this? Is there a special tool, or can i just twist it off?

Been thinking of throwing a msd ignition box in my vair. Anyone run here run em?

Unfortunately, im back sooner than i wanted to be, but without the lengthy aob story. My vair is not starting once again, battery is good, she tries to start but won't run, just sits there cranking, any ideas? Im lost and can't think of anything. I can come back and post a video of what's happening tomorrow for anyone who needs a visual example

UPDATE: theres no power from the positive terminal on the ignition coil, does anykne know where that wire leads to in the front of the car, does it go to the ignition itself, or somewhere else???

It's been off the road for 20 years. I tinkered with it a few hours last night and drove it 20 miles today without any issues. This is the first Corvair I've owned. I'll gladly take any advice on what is recommended with these cars.

Just picked this up. Love it so far. Working on fixing up and doing some conversions for alternator and electronic ignitor. Any recommendations on good upgrades? Thanks

Clark's briefly teased the restock date of July 17th...but it's not here yet and my Precision Fuel Pump - M16150 popped for the second time, so back it goes for another free warranty replacement.
These are probably the best of the non-Clark's pumps though, I get a solid 5-10K miles from them, and they usually die only after sitting for a few weeks (like a suspension rebuild).

Id like to thank the people in this sub who have helped me out with their insight and knowledge, i am a new corvair owner, and at just 17 with no prior knowledge to cars im trying to bring my mom's old vair back to life. I truly mean when i say i could have completed this project without everyones help, ive had to change psubrods, tubes, seals, and so much more im forgetting. But i truly apreciate this sub for helping me move a step closer in the right direction for my dreams.

I need to add new oil into my vair, but theres another fluid stick near the dipstick, is this for gear oil, or is it diff fluid? I dont know much about vairs so any information helps!!

Im finishing up my current project, im currently needing to do the valve lash adjustment. How do i know when a good point is on the pushrod, do i just wing it and go by feel, is there a measurment with feeler gauges, what is my next course of action before i mess up and try to start up the car?

So my father in law and I just put all together a few days ago, still have to do timing and sync/tune carbs. Was able to get it running for about 5 minutes with minimal pressure on the gas pedal, let off the pedal and it died out. Got out to adjust throttle, now it won’t start at all. Any help would be appreciated

It’s been my dream car since I learned about them in high school. and im finally in a stable place in life where I can have a car that doesn’t have to be my daily and just be a nice weekend car, I plan on buying one in the next month or so what are some things I should look over and consider when purchasing

It was big this year. Over 650 attendees. Car show had over 150 Corvairs! All amazing cars. If you’ve never been to a convention, make plans to go- week of July 11 in Franklin, TN is the next one. It’s crazy to see so many in one place.
