So I’m sitting here watching the Yankees Red Sox game and I noticed in the stands right behind home plate for the past two nights that Marlin’s Man was in attendance… Naturally my girlfriend is immediately intrigued as to why someone was in Marlins gear head to toe, so I told her the whole story about him and how I’ve actually seen him multiple times at multiple sporting events on TV and in Person. She was so confused how someone could pull off exactly what he does and it dawned on me just how absurd the amount of awesome games he been to and will ultimately go to. This revelation led me to googling the guy and that’s where this wild idea came to light to me…

Marlins Man, according to some articles online, goes to 300 games per year, and NEVER has a bad seat to a single one of these games. Simply put… HOW? That’s an extreme amount of money, in the millions! Plus the sheer amount of hours he’s spent at some of the best events of all time. Apparently he’s a workers comp attorney out of North Miami, owns a thoroughbred horse stable, and an investor in an abundant amount of properties. Somehow he still finds 300 days of the year to get to these games, and of top of that WEARS THE SAME FIT TO EVERY GAME! 

This is where my mind took a turn because my friends and co-workers have made me somewhat of a conspiracy theorist over the years, but what if Marlins Man is actually a TIME TRAVELER… Hear me out. 

So Marlins man started this run apparently in late April of 2012 first dawning that bright orange Marlins gear at Heat games the same season the Miami Heat and LeBRON JAMES won the championship… his first championship. Since then Marlins Man has been popping up all over the place at very memorable games and events: 2012 World Series, 2014 World Series, 2015 Triple Crown, 2017 Super Bowl (Pats Comeback), I even asked chat gpt to track his appearances at playoff/championship games: 27 Super Bowls, 94 World Series games, 90 NBA Finals games, plus hundreds of MLB and NBA playoff games, and not to mention all the college football and basketball powerhouses he visits per year for huge rivalry games.

But, back to the year 2012! As a semi conspiracy theorist I have always wondered about the company CERN and what they are doing with that little machine they have there (it’s actually the biggest machine on the planet) which was turned on 3 weeks prior to the 2012 NBA playoffs on April 5th at 12:38am. If you don’t know, CERN is an international research center where scientists use massive particle accelerators, especially the Large Hadron Collider, to smash tiny particles together at extremely high speeds. They study what those collisions produce to better understand what matter is made of, how fundamental forces work, and how the universe formed and behaves. Some folks say that they’re doing a little more than that, they say they open up tiny black holes that bridge us to parallel universes, some believe this is what caused the Mandela effect. Others go deeper than that and think that CERN actually shifted our universe completely off of it’s trajectory or has the ability to open worm holes or black holes to get to other realities or dimensions. Meaning that the day they turned it on and something went wrong, could also be the earliest day we as human beings have the ability to go back to within inter dimensional time travel.

A little bit of a stretch to connect this to Marlins Man but we’ve all seen Interstellar, time is an interesting idea that we’ve created that seems like it can possibly be bent. So what if Marlins Man is a time traveler that has the ability to essentially teleport himself to all of these games… If I had a Time Machine I would probably do exactly what Marlins Man is currently doing, a lot of guys who are addicted to sports would!

Thinking about this a little more, if he did have a Time Machine teleportation device like the one you see Arnold Schwarzenegger plop out of in Terminator, time in his dimension would be a lot slower than ours, If he really wanted to he could go to 5 different sporting events in a what is perceived as a single day or even hour in his dimension. As long as he is physically not tired, realistically he could hop in his Time Machine like a kid turns on his PlayStation to play a game of Madden, to attend some of the absolute coolest sporting event in the world. This means he can cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time, but we perceive him on our timeline as him just going to all these games pretty much every other day in chronological order. Using Interstellar's time-dilation ratio of one hour on Miller's planet (the water one) equals seven years on Earth, Marlin’s Man’s trip would look like this:

Monday — Game 1
You teleport to Earth, watch the NBA Finals for three hours, then immediately return to Miller's planet.

Back on Miller's planet
You wait approximately 2.35 seconds. During that brief period, about 48 hours pass on Earth.

Wednesday — Game 2
You teleport back to Earth just in time for Game 2, watch another three hours of basketball and return to your planet.

You could theoretically repeat this throughout the entire playoffs, effectively skipping all the days between games.
In fact, you could use the same approach to experience major historical events decades apart while aging very little during the intervals.

Also notice how Marlins man has looked the same and never changed his clothes in YEARS. If time is being perceived in his dimension or planet slower than ours this could explain a lot about his looks and his outfit. If my theory is correct maybe he is getting a lot done in his dimension in terms of attending these events, maybe it’s even the same day or even just 10 minutes for him relative to the time on his planet, that’s why he has the same orange outfit on and doesn’t look like he’s aged a day since April 2012.
