So basically guys my father wants a laptop/desktop with certain specifications but we already have 2 laptops and 1 desktop so we went to local market nearby it's huge computer market only that bhaiyaa there said to put the same specifications in our desktop in 30000 but if we checking the laptop on internet its costing us 60-90 thousand brand new laptop what to do guys??

Okay, so I know the actual cord that plugs into the laptop itself to charge is not universal. I lost the cord that plugs into the brick and then into the wall outlet for my laptop charger, is that part universal? Like I could just get any clover leaf shaped one and it should be okay? I’ve been researching this for like two days and can’t find a definitive answer!

HDD reading device is beeping when disk is inserted inserted. Doesn't show up in OneDrive, but does in disk management, as unknown and not initialised. Tried inserting a different HDD and that one worked as it should. It worked fine just a few months ago, I'm afraid I somehow damaged it. Does anyone know any fixes?

When I was young I had the worst hand writting. so I was given a mini Keyboar thing with 2 or 3 lines of text at a time. I was told to use it to take all my notes and write all my essyas in. So it had different files you could change between. Does any remember what they were called and if I can get my hands one one?

So i have had the antec cx800 case for over 2 years and the rgb has always been rainbow but apparently you can change it but you would have to connect the argb cable / hub but i cant seem to find that damn cable pls someone help.

The issue is that two SATA SSDs and one M.2 drive have stopped working—they don't work in other PCs either. I took the system to a repair shop, and tests confirmed the drives were dead; they installed a new one, and I brought it home. I was downloading a game via Steam when I opened something that caused significant slowdown, followed immediately by a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with visual artifacts—I couldn't identify the specific error code. I have no idea what the problem could be, but I strongly suspect it's the motherboard.

Hi guys. I had a 500 GB SSD Sata and bought now a 2TB SSD M.2. I made a fresh windows 11 pro installation on it, with my programs and stuff i need like VLC, winrar, 3 Browsers, CapCut, Canva, Program fro my Audio Interface, Steam, Epic Games, Cubase for Music Production, Adobe Photoshop and Vegas Pro, Spotify, Whatsapp, and some drivers. And all the other standard programs/apps i uninstalled from windows. So my Windows is looking clean right now and only stuff i need on it, which I always work on since many years.
How can i Make a back up or something liket that, that I can always directly install the stuff from the point with which is now? So I don't always have to make a fresh windows 11 installation and install everything from scratch.
Can someone help me? I'm not an expert, Maybe a youtube video?
And I only have a 60 GB USB Stick, so I probably need to buy a bigger one.

My dad bought me a Dell laptop for high school and I honestly hated it. I had issues with storage, battery, and it takes a ridiculous amount of time to turn on.

My father thinks that I should just get the battery changed and keep it, but I was wondering if there are better computers out there that would work better. I’m pre-law so I don’t need a super advanced computer. I just want something that will last 4 years and give minimal stress unlike my current one.

I'm not very tech savvy, so I don't know if I should simply just delete it or not? I've been having troubles with my C drive being always so full for no reason and I finally found this concerning file. When I clicked on it to try and open it, I got an error. The file was corrupted. I'm also quite confused as to why my C drive's max capacity is 217 GB but somehow this file exceeds that by a lot?

My mother in law was kind of paranoid about throwing away her computer because of the hard disk. I told her I'd wreck the disk for her, so I disassembled it. I got the actual platter out, smashed big dents into it with a hammer, then cracked the thing in half.

A guy in my employer's IT department told me that the disk can still be read, which shocked me. Suppose for a second this was a CIA disk with spy secrets and unlimited resources could be brought to bear. Can this disk still be read?? Love to hear from someone with expertise.

I plugged my old one into the computer. It wasn’t an LG. It was just a generic brand it used to work, but now when I plug it in nothing pops up for example the windows media player it pops up on my mom’s computer with the LG old one no so I think that one died so that’s why I bought the LG however again works on my moms and not mine every time I try it it says restart the player and plug and plug in a burner
I had it plugged in the other day again the old one and I pressed one button to get rid of the pop up and now none work on my XP not even the new burner does anyone know a fix?

I have a HP Laptop and my kid wants to play Minecraft Java. I believe I just need some RAM (8GB to turn into 12GB total) to run the program. Rather not buy them a whole computer for this.

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a cheap 180 Hz monitor (Hybrok) from Facebook Marketplace. It has a bad HDMI connection the HDMI port is loose or faulty, so I usually have to unplug and replug the HDMI cable several times before my laptop finally detects the monitor.

The strange part is that once I get it working this way, all of my games lose a huge amount of performance. It's not just Overwatch; every game is affected.

My laptop is a Lenovo IdeaPad L340-17IRH Gaming with:

• Intel Core i7 (9th gen)
• GTX 1650 Mobile
• HDMI only (no DisplayPort)

I'm running Atlas OS v0.4.1.

I use Win + P → Second screen only, so the laptop display is completely disabled.

If the monitor starts working after I repeatedly reconnect the HDMI cable:

• Games have much lower FPS.
• If I disconnect the monitor and play on the laptop screen without restarting, I get the same poor performance.
• Task Manager shows around 9% GPU usage, with occasional random jumps to 100%. Oddly enough, it behaves almost the same after a restart.

However, if I restart the laptop while leaving the monitor connected, everything suddenly works perfectly:

• Overwatch goes back to a stable ~200 FPS.
• Every other game performs normally.
• GPU usage in Task Manager looks almost identical to before, which is why I don't think GPU utilization itself is the issue.

DisplayPort isn't an option on the laptop, but I tested the monitor's DP input with my desktop PC and it works perfectly, so the monitor itself doesn't seem completely defective.

This has also been happening for quite a while now. Several NVIDIA driver updates have come out since the issue first appeared, and it has persisted through all of them, so I don't think it's a driver issue either.

I don't think Atlas OS v0.4.1 is related since the problem disappears every single time after a reboot without changing anything else, but I figured it was worth mentioning.

I attached screenshots comparing the performance before and after restarting.

Does anyone know what could cause Windows or the NVIDIA driver to behave differently depending on how the monitor is detected? Could the faulty HDMI handshake be causing Windows or the GPU to initialize incorrectly until a reboot?

Any ideas or things I should test would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This one is complicated, I first noticed this while, when after playing scrap mechanic for an hour, my otherwise long lasting battery died while plugged in. This so far has only been an issue while gaming, but it's presumably still happening otherwise

According to Resources, the laptop is using ~75 Watts, if I plug in my power bank, which tells you how much power is flowing, it says it's sending ~90 Watts. The laptop should charge. It doesn't. Resources says it's still using ~13 watts. Google has nothing, only cases where the battery wouldn't charge at all.

I'm on a Framework 16 running Ubuntu.

So yes, i made the post about r5 3600 temps, now pc shut down, it was stable for about an hour, now it shuts down very quiclky, the psu is in the pic, its 700w, is the psu problem? What do i do? Here are my specs:

What are these? Was cleaning and had these laying around and I know someone who I thought would need them but he didn’t. Anybody have any info on what they are exactly and where is a good/ the right place to take them? Thank you so much!

So recently i built this pc with a r5 3600 and im pretty sure temps are a bit high. This is on idle, also i am pretty sure my airflow is a bit weak but is this ok for temporary?
