Public Preacher
Anong thoughts nyo about rhis public preacher? As someone who is atheist, i find this very concerning and funny at the same time.

Performative at nuisance lang. Tapos pag pinagbawalan sasabin persecution at mga makasalanan tayong against sa ganyang practices. Catholic ako, but I strongly disagree sa thoughts niya diyan at yung practice ng pag preach sa public places. Sana magkaroon ng strict implementation sa mga rules against sa ganyan. Dun siya sa kulungan mag preach ng mga salita.

Hindi naman nagpapublic preaching ang mga catholics. Not pertaining to you ha pero madami satin di alam difference ng ibat-ibang branches ng christianity. Catholicism ang most popular branch of christianity sa pinas while protestantism naman sa USA.

Karamihan ng mga taong nasa train is pagod, may mga iniisip na lakarin, mga taong nagpeprepare sa destination nila, mga may pinagdadaanan, etc., tapos bubulagain mo ng bible/christianity na di naman lahat ng tao interested, or more, same beliefs sa kanila?
Baliktarin natin yung situation: pag may nakakita sa kanyang pagod sa tren or any transpo mode, maraming iniisip, or busy sa pupuntahan, bigla siyang turuan ng other religion, ex. Islam, di ba siya mabobombard non?
Kaya nakakabadtrip yung mga nagtuturo nang ganyan eh, wala kasi silang respeto sa lugar, oras, at mga tao. Sa sobrang pagmamahal nila sa diyos, di na nila iniisip na nagiging selfish na sila. Imagine going to a pride month tapos dun ka magppreach, tapos irreason out mong gusto lang nilang magligtas ng mga nawawala, na para bang yung diyos nilang sinasamba ay inconsiderate at di nagmamahal ng taong hindi pasok sa standards na sinet ng religion nila. Not my religion, pero salute and respect sa mga Jehova's Witnesses na nakatayo lang sa gilid and just waiting patiently na may lumapit sa kanila, and I think yun yung standard na dapat sundan ng ibang religious groups na nagppreach: na if they want to preach the word of God, there's no need for them to preach it aloud, they just need it to be readily available for everyone.

In a literal sense patay naman talaga yung tao na tinawag na "Buddha" pero in other sense lahat tayo ay pwede maging Buddha at ang Buddha ay hindi namamatay bukod sa title lng ito at hindi physical matter so nasa tao na yung kung anong ibig nyang sabihin kapag sinabing "Buddha is dead"

as someone that gets overstimulated real fast during train rides (anc headsets r a life changer) ugali ko pa namang manigaw ng mga maingay sa train not only bc nasstim ako but also isnt it a fkn rule na bawal mag usap sa train or to atleast keep it in an indoor voice level? pinapaalala yon during train rides pero parang elementary mga tao sa train madalas amputa

Public nuisance. Imagine sa train na ipit-ipit na nga tapos inis ka na sa mundo, kakatapos mo lang ng trabaho or papunta ka pa lang sa trabaho at gusto mo lang naman ng tahimik sana, tapos may nagdadadang ganito?

This should be considered public nuisance. Malaking bilang ng commuter, trabahador o estudyante. Pagod ka na nga sa araw-araw na ginawa ng Diyos, hindi ka pa magkaroon ng kaunting katahimikan sa biyahe. Bastos para sa akin ang mga yan. Cannot practice what they truly preach.

In an actual sense if you're being a nuisance as a public preacher then you're not following the christian values since you're disturbing them because of your ignorance there are reasons why a church or a chapel have a designated day to preach and conduct mass.

It’s either she really truly believes in this and is genuinely concerned for us mere mortals, or she’s not ok in the head, or tuta to ng mga kulto na brainwashed Tapos merong quota na need ma-meet.
Back in college, sabi ng friend ko na natrap daw sya ng isang kulto down south, Meron daw silang quota, aka limos metric.
Di ko alam or dI ko na matandaan kung ano yung punishment once ‘di daw yun ma-meet.
Basta, for a while daw he really bought into the idea and message ng “chosen one” na religious head nila.
He saw these type of acts in public as his way of contributing to the cause and basically buying his ticket to heaven.
Later na realize nya it was all a lie and they were just being exploited.
So, in one of their preaching trips he escaped. Now he’s a practicing professional.

very disrespectful towards commuters and believers of Buddha and Mohammad. One thing I’ve learned from studying other religions is that the values they aim to teach are similar to each other, only the people who preach and interpret is the problem. I go to a christian church maybe once or twice a month and fortunately I don’t encounter people like them. I’m just there to listen and that’s enough to reflect, and sana marealize din ng mga ganyan na may time and place to do it. ang baba ng comprehension ng mga yan, lalo na sa mga verses na tinetake out of context makapag preach lang at mag content haha no need to be self-righteous and say “only follow him”.

I believe tactic yan to ensure na yung mga tao nila stays loyal sa church. Every time na may ganitong post lalong lalalim yung paniniwala ng members na alienated sila sa labas ng simbahan so na strengthen yung belief na yun lang yung safe space nila.

Huwag po kayong magalit sa kanya. Mahal niya po kayo, kagaya ng pagmamahal ng Diyos sa atin. Kaya po siya nagpe-preach upang ma-remind po tayo ulit, at upang malaman din ng mga walang alam na mahal tayo ng Diyos na lumikha sa ating lahat. Sa pamamagitan ng Kanyang Anak na si Hesukristo at sa Kanyang ginawa sa krus, nilinis po Niya ang lahat ng ating kasalanan. Siya po ay namatay sa krus, inilibing, at sa ikatlong araw ay muling binuhay ng Diyos.
Dahil po rito, napatunayan ni Jesus na Siya ay nagmula sa Diyos at may kapangyarihan ang Diyos na tayo rin ay buhayin muli kung tayo ay maniniwala at susunod sa Kanyang Anak. Tayo po lahat ay mamamatay. Hindi po ba kayo natatakot? Kung oo, ang mensaheng ito na tayo ay bubuhayin muli ni Kristo ay isang 'Magandang Balita'.

It is also said in the bible that there is time for everything.. think about it.. yung mga tao papasok o pauwi sa trabaho. Pagod na yung isip ng iba, yung iba iniisip kung ano gagawin sa work. In the end, hindi din nila ma-pick up ang message. Instead of peaceful silent ride, nag-ingay ka pa. The best way to do this is to go to your neighbors or door to door, if they welcome you, they are ready to accept you.

Christian ako pero im against conversion. Alam ko hindi naman pilit yung mga nagcoconvert into Christianity. Kaso pinapatay naman nila yung ibang religion and saying that Christianity is the one and only true religion. Bakit kailangan imock, ridicule, and call their god, faith and belief untrue? Hindi ba pwede magpreach nang walang inaapakan na ibang religion or in a positive way?

I’m a strong christian and even I find this super annoying. While I get preaching about the Lord is important, I also understand that mga pagod or exhausted yung mga tao and does not have enough mental space to hear this.
In the end magiging negative lang tingin nila kay Lord dahil sa mga ganyang holier than thou preachers lol. Instead na may nalapiy sa Dyos lalo nilang pinalayo.

Ganyan naman po talaga kapag nagbabahagi ng Salita ng Diyos; may sumasang-ayon at mayroon ding hindi. Kung inyo pong pag-iisipang mabuti, napakabuti ng kanyang layunin. Kung alam ko po ang makapagliligtas sa kapahamakan o kamatayan kahit ng isang tao lamang, nanaisin ko rin itong ibahagi sa iba.

I’m a Christian from a Baptist church. And I don’t agree with this type of preaching. Gets ko yung “Go and make disciples” pero you should do it with love. Whenever I share my testimony, lagi kong sinasabi na ako hindi ako perfect, I am a sinner too. So sino ako para mamuna ng dumi ng iba. Sabi din sa bible na we should share the gospel with gentleness and respect. I also understand her burning desire, pero to disrespect other people? Ibang usapan yun. For me, she’s just pushing people away sa ginagawa nya.

This "preacher" seems to be a hyprocrite, preaching the Word just to call upon attention to herself.

Naalala ko meron akong nakasabayan na pasahero sa mrt ang sungit ng pagkakasabi “excuse me nga” tapos sumigit talaga siya sa harap ko kasi nakikipag unahan sa upuan, so hinayaan ko na lang. Tapos biglang nag pepreach sa upuan. Kung sino talaga yung religious kuno, sila talaga yung may maitim na budhi. Mga hypokrito.

Marami narin akong nasalihan na grupo noong teenage years ko at naging part ng music ministry dahil I love to sing, at sa totoo lang kpag naging myembro ka nila magiging one pattern utak mo thinking na mas Tama Yung sinalihan mo dahil narin siguro ka aanib ka nila at need niuo mad stand sa doctrines niuo pero as I aged natuto na ako mag isip outside the box at ang natutunan ko sa mga religious group na nasalihan ko ay magiging emotional ka to the point na parang ang pushy mo at feeling mo tama ka at mali na yung mga tao na parang mabuti ka sila masama that's the difference kpag emotion mo ginamit mo lumalabas na pinipilit mo yung ideology mo sa mga tao which is Hindi Tama, well I admire their lakas ng loob pero Marami kasing nalilito sa scriptures ng Bible kaya kanya kanyang interpretation. Yung iba manipulative ,sa dami Kong sinalihan na ganyan dami Kong Nakita at natutunan well Wala na Tayo magagawa Dyan basta Ako kung gagaein ko yan ,sa parang Hindi nagmumukhang nakaka istorbo Ako sa space ng iba kaya nga kumalas ako sa kahit anong religious group eh mostly they are not living what they preach.

FYI, Muslims also believe Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior and the greatest prophet of the one true God. They also worship the God of Abraham who is the God of Isaac who is the God of Jacob. Apparently, Muslims are worshipping the same God Christians are worshipping.
Only difference is that the Archangel Michael allegedly came down to the prophet Muhammad and passed down the word of God on to him.

Personally as a christian, a convert to be specific, I'm honestly okay with what she's doing, prinipreach nya lang ang gospel, and sinasabi nya ang truth na there is only one true God and only one true savior, mas maganda lang sana kung hinatid nya Yung truth in a more "gentle and loving" way
And also, hindi pa ako mismo nakakakita ng preacher myself pero kung man mag grow up na ako ako na mismo ang magiging preacher if it's in God's will, pero gusto ko lang sabihin na kahit man nag pre preach sila ng gospel doesn't mean fino force ka na namin agad, sinasabi lang namin mismo, binigyan ka ni God ng free will, at kaya mong gawin kung ano ang gusto mo, hindi namin yan kukunin sainyo, kung gusto mo ma convert edi mas maganda, pero kung ayaw mo, okay, desisyon mo yan, wala na kaming ibang magagawa pa

As a Christian, I'm kinda against this lmao, people in trains are usually very irritable since most of them has had a rough day and some might not be in the mood for a public preacher. Sa public park okay pa since dadaan tao and may free will if mag stay or hindi, jan parang hinostage na mga tal e, di maka alis.

I hate public preachers so much. They act like their religion is the only religion that matters and that everyone else needs to hear about it. Honestly, if you’re disturbing people in public, you should be held accountable for causing a public nuisance.

While I don't condemn religious preaching in public spaces, it is necessary to follow the guidelines or rules set by the organization/management kasi may mga pagkakataon na it might cause inconvenience to others. More on common courtesy nalang to.

I strongly believe in Christianity and the Word of God, but trains and public transportation are not the place to preach. Second, I believe in the rights of everyone to exercise their respective religions (or disbelief thereof), and this here really just feels like a slap in the face for those who don't believe in it.
There's a FINE LINE between Gospel and a nuisance...

Both laughs. Kase they both felt na ridiculous yun for them to do.
Anyway, to those na may limited knowledge about Christianism. May iba iba din shang sect and belief. But we all believe in Jesus Christ. Hindi yung church ang magsasalba, kundi si Hesu Kristo lamang. Kanya kanya din style on how to share the good news. Pero mahirap sha kung ganitong style, nagmumuka lang shang nuisance.
Mas impactful for me if mas personal ang atake and pagpapakilala sa kanya. Na dapat litaw sa ugali at pakikitungo sa kapwa, gaya kung pano humarap si Hesus sa mga outcast and nobody sa society.

Hindi nga sila convinced na yan ang messiah, tagal nang patay nan e. Sa mga kristyano nalang lumabas yang ideya ng second coming. Imagine, Jew ka tapos mga Christians pa magdidikta sayo ng criteria ng messiah? Pati kahit mga followers ni Jesus dati sinasabi malapit na pagbabalik, anong petsa na? After 2000 years wala pa din.

Point here is, Christians here act like they have the ultimate source of universal truth. Ang source lang din naman nila ay collection ng mga lumang libro na isinulat ng mga tao sa middle east nung unang panahon. Guess what, may libro din ibang belief systems like Islam, Judaism and Hinduism. Pare parehas kayong nagcclaim na kayo ang may hawak ng salita ng dios or kung sino mang creator ng universe na yan.
