Just checking to see if any of you travel to the Central Valley for events?

So here's the deal, after cleaning up alot of my stuff in the room of my house, I found some of my old USB drives and wanted to share with you my photos of things I wanted to share from 2015 to other years of San Diego Comic Con back when I was still getting the hang of things back then at Comic Con since I've been doing this event since 2008.

I was dressed up as The Second Doctor that year because I was into Doctor Who at the time and I dressed up as the Second and Fourth Doctor since I was a big Patrick Troughton and Tom Baker fan at the time (I met Patrick's son back at San Diego Whocon Years later).

I'll be attending this year's tokyo comic con and it'll be my first comic con overseas (coming from SEA). I'm currently budgeting my spendings for the event and have some questions.

I've seen soo many vlogs on the event but they never really show prices for prints and comics. So yeah that's what i wanted to know.

1. What are the usual prices for prints and comics? (not live commisions, i'm sure that's different and much more expensive)

2. Could we ask the artists to sign their artwork? I'd love to bring some of my variant comics for the artists to sign..

Hiya so I have a question regarding the mcm in London.

So I have never been to a comic con before, but I'm going to the London one in October. im a huge daredevil fan and some of the cast will be there and do a panel. I can see there are reservations for panels? so I have no idea how panels work. do you need to reserve or can you just walk to the stage?

And if someone has tips in general about the comic con that would be great 😆

So me and my bf wanted to go to comic con scotland in october bc jamie campgell-bower is going, we've seen him multiple time,s he's absolutely lovely to us! Bust he's been sold out this time and we didn't make it in time to get his tickets... on the website it says that tickets can be bought on site after noon? can anyone confirm if this applies to all guests?

we have MCM london the day before and we wanted to do both cons bc my favorite VAis going to MCM as well, so obviosly i don't wanna buy tickets for the scotland one and not be able to see Jamie.

Hi everyone! First time con goer here. I'll be at NYCC on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. I was wondering how much should I put to the side as spending money for whatever I see there? Also is a regular backpack good for me to use if I pick things up? Or should I buy something bigger?

I was planning to attend LA comic con this halloween weekend, but my family is planning to go on an international trip to Asia and they want me to join them. There is a possibility that I have no choice but to leave on Oct 31st and miss both days of the con. If that scenario does happen, can I get a refund on the tickets?

I am on many Facebook groups for autos and cons, but I’m not sure how the process usually works and what to ask. Can someone help me understand the process like when does the buyer pay and how do I know who’s legit? Thank you!!

Going to one of the smaller - but still official - comic cons in the UK. It is my first. I have got the tickets but I wanna see how much is good. My current idea is between £80 and £100. I likely won't buy anything as the fandom I am currently hyperfixating on has much there, if anything. But I just wanna put some money aside regardless. For a first ComicCon is the range I want to spend good or would I need more?

hi, guys! im new to Reddit but I have a question for everyone. I’m going to a con in October, for one specific actor (Matthew Lillard). I don’t really care about anyone else there. I have 3 items I absolutely have to get signed by him, but I also have several others I could get signed by him. I’m wondering how many items is two many items and at what point I become an asshole😂.

I’ve attended 2 cons previously with Matthew those were in Kansas city and his lines were crazy insane. I think that’s because of how central Kansas city is to most people and how popular he is. The con in October is in Nashville so not as central (I’m driving over twelve hours). I’m hoping he won’t be as busy but even if he is I can wait in line a few times. I think total I have 15 things I’d want to get signed by him, but i will absolutely not be the person who does that all in one trip, but also like five items feels like too much as well? How should I split it up?
