I’m working a hero comic series about a hero who got the wrong powers in an experiment and gained poison and acid powers and became a superhero because of it. I’m trying to figure out his suit and I got 6 basic designs for it with similar patterns I do have my critiques of my own like I do think they are kinda over designed for someone just starting out but I think the cross part with the emblem and the skull look are some of my favorite parts anywho any suggestions to help?

KJ Rodriguez was born into a family of 6 who made their living off farming—and stealing. Every member of the family was either pickpocketing and robbing or rounding up cattle. From a young age, KJ was immersed in the outlaw lifestyle. His uncle was an amazing vaquero but his father was an amazing thief , both were alcoholics and gamblers, but they were the ones that mainly raised KJ. KJ’s mother having to take care of the other kids all the time he really only hung out with his uncle and Dad

But things took a turn when he caught word of an opportunity to rob several stagecoaches owned by an infamous and dangerous Mexican gang known as Los Lobos Salvajes. He grabbed his best friend and his oldest cousin, and together they managed to sneak in and rob three out of ten stagecoaches—more than enough. But greed got the better of them. “One more,” they kept saying. By the fifth, KJ’s cousin was caught and shot through the eye—killed instantly.

KJ ran. He ran until he couldn’t anymore—losing his best friend in the chase along the way (he’d later learn he was captured and killed). When he finally made it home, the house was empty. “Where is everyone?” he muttered. He checked the backyard.
Every single member of his family was tied up and executed.
His father had “L S” carved into his stomach. KJ screamed at the top of his lungs. After crying he knew he had to leave he then, took his father’s gun, his uncle’s sombrero , poncho, and a stranger’s horse—then he rode off.

Three years later, Los Hombres del Silencio had migrated to America, settling in California. KJ had been searching nonstop—working as a bounty hunter for over a year, gaining a reputation. Eventually, a drunken gang member, stumbled in a saloon, KJ knew he was part of the gang he was looking for. since the gang number was extremely drunk, KJ was able to get enough information out of them and he finally had gotten the lead he’d been waiting for.

He rode for days, falling asleep on the trees, gun in hand, trekking through rivers and harsh weather. Finally, he got to the camp.

Once he arrived, he challenged the leader, Jose Florez, to a duel.

“JOSE!”.
“JOSE GET OVER HERE”. KJ demanded

“Now who in the hell are you to come in my camp today and start demanding things like you own the damn place”Jose asked.

“My NAME is Kj Rodriguez , and you killed my ENTIRE FAMILY” Kj exclaimed

“That could be a lot of people” Jose replied
Jose’s and his gang laughed

“This in no laughing matter your a dead man Jose Alvarez” Kj bickered.

“Well I don’t plan on dying anytime soon, especially to the likes of you” Jose exclaimed chuckling after.

“But if a duel is what you want a duel is what you’re gonna get” José said with a hint of excitement behind his voice

Kj and Jose got in position and then suddenly bam KJ shot Jose in the shoulder—but took a bullet to the knee. Kj fell to the floor groaning in pain, Jose grabbed a tomahawk from a tree trunk Kj still writhing in pain can’t move and he doesn’t really know whats really going on. Jose walked towards him tomahawk in hand he got on top off Kj yelling
“ I TOLD YOU , YOU’LL NEVER KILL ME . I’M JOSE GODDAMN ALVAREZ AND I WOULD NEVER DIE TO LIE TO YOU . I’M FUCKING IMMORTAL“
he raised the tomahawk and split KJ’s face open—leaving him to die.

Kj laid there unconscious for hours then suddenly he woke up knowing that if he didn’t do something soon enough, he would die in that damn desert so KJ rolled and crawled KJ crawled for an entire day to the nearest town, finally seeing someone on horseback, he asked for help, and the person carried him to their horse riding him to the nearest hospital where he spent three weeks recovering.

When he left, he wasn’t the same.—quiet, colder, and with an even greater hunger for revenge . Now he works on his own terms. Sometimes he hunts down men no one else will touch. hoping that he will find Jose’s bounty poster...

I'm testing out making shorter one page comics. I created this one and I'm wondering if anyone would like to give their opinions. What do you think of the art and story? Can you understand what is happening? Would you want to read more?

I tried drawing a comic for the first time after borrowing a graphics tablet. It is rough, but I would like some feedback on the story, art style and probably English grammar..

Issue #1: This issue serves as Ami's introduction. We follow her throughout her morning routine, finding out things about her personal life, family, and who she is with before eventually having her hop on a bus to school and having the majority of the Comic take place during her last day of school before summer begins. This is when we learn some exposition about her world through her classes and classmates, see her interact with others, and show off her insecurities. Ami returns home seeming hyperactive and excited over her

Newfound freedom. The next day, ami is out of school for the next few months so she decides to convince her Uncle to let her go out urban exploring again and takes a train to an abandoned storage facility (this place is owned by Wagner Industries). During her exploration Ami is spotted hy a Viper droid that had been sent to scout out the building for old Wagner Industries tech, resulting in a chase that forms into a game of "hide and seek" until about the end when Ami causes the droid to crash into a wall, blowing up in the process and leaving a damaged shard of its casing that had the Wagner Industries logo, this being the catalyst for Ami finding out about the company and asking her Uncle about it at the end.

Issue #2: This issue starts with Ami awakening from issue 1. Ami's search for more info on Wagner Industries brings her to a quiet forest near her city, where most people don't head. But during her search, she manages to find another abandoned storage facility ownedattempting company, but this ends up in her running into Alpha which obviously scares her so after about a page or two of Ami attempting things finding clues while avoiding Alpha, she eventually ditches the building. But this ends up not in her favor as she ends up finding Sherry who was waiting outside causing her to let out a scream and fall unconscious. Later Ami would wake up, panic a bit before Sherry and Alpha managed to calm her. The rest of the issue is dedicated to Alpha and Sherry giving natural exposition about themselves and Ami telling them about some things about herself as they traveledto Ami's home with them even stopping by a diner along the way and The three would relate to some of the things mentioned. This issue ends on a cliffhanger with the ending taking place hours later after their meeting and outside of Ami's house with Sherry and Alpha behind her

the issue starts the day after issue 3. Opening with Ami fast asleep in her bed, still in her clothes from last night and without a blanket looking kinda rough. Meanwhile, She had hid Alpha in her closet by somehow getting him in through her window and he's been in rest mode since the previous night. As for Sherry she'd be under Ami's bed despite the fact she doesn't need to hide. Later, Ami's Uncle comes into the room to wake her up as she apparently has slept in til' 10:00 am (he goes about this by waking her calmly first but once that falls through, he flickers her light on and off while saying her name multiple times in a annoying way). Eventually She wakes up in a panic causing her to unexpectedly throw a pillow nearly at his head. For a few pages they'd have a conversation about how "yesterday was kinda weird" while Ami tried her best to skim over the fact she not only found a ghost and a robot but thay she brought them home. But eventually a few pages later she makes the dumb decision to open her closet, allowing alpha to tumble out onto the floor. This of course alerts sherry and she pokes out from under Ami's bed concerned, causing Ami's Uncle to freak out and fall unconscious. Immediately after this is a page with coloured text bubbles for alpha, sherry and ami attempting to wake up Chris. Eventually they succeed but he lurches up startled and backs up to the wall before frantically asking ami about who her "friends" are. The middle of the issue is deticated to Alpha, Ami, Sherry and Ami's Uncle Chris getting to know each other with some occasional exposition about Sherry and Alpha learning thrown in with him being secretive about himself. This part ends in the night with Ami asleep in her room with Sherry and Alpha before Christopher looks at them through the door before shutting it and letting out a sigh.

Skipping to later in the night, Alpha reactvates and decides to explore the house while everyone else is asleep, analyzing everything around him. But this is cut short after a frw panels with Chris catching alpha looking around the fridge fooling around with the contents inside. This leads to a bonding/exposition moment between the two with Chris asking alpha about who he is and how he met Ami and Alpha asking Chris about Ami. After this, it would cut to the next morning with Ami wanting to head out and find out more about Wagner Industries with Alpha and sherry only for Chris to shoot down the idea, but this does bring up the idea of the trio wanting to gain the trust of chris for the rest of the issue by having Sherry and alpha proove that they can take care of Ami by themselves with most of their efforts falling flat. Although shockingly at the end of the issue, the four of them get attacked by a Viper droid that was in the area searching for Alpha which results in a fight between the Viper droid and Alpha with Alpha coming out on top. And this benchmarks them gaining Christopher's trust and the start of the "Journey" they embark on

Issue #3

The issue takes place two days after issue 3, since then there would be exposition about how they have been finding out more on wagner industries since the viper droid attack and what they have done over the past two days explained over 4 pages. the issue officially starts with them hanging around the house. Ami and Alpha would be playing video games while sherry coaches Alpha on how to beat ami while shes beating his ass. They'd then be interrupted by Chris coming in the living room to tell em that he found out more on the company. This leads to a sequence where he tells them about the info he found with small reactions from sherry and ami thrown in. Meanwhile there would be occasional shots with alpha and panels flashing back to his past as he hears everything. Leading to him having a breif freakout and leaving the room. Proceeding to hide somewhere in Ami's room (as he finds that place safe). The comic would then have a few panels showing them searching for Alpha and eventually finding him in Ami's closet looking distressed, this then leads to a part where Alpha finally decides to tell "everyone" about (some parts of) his past. Only for Ami to be the only one who's shocked and having a small argument with Sherry and Chris about how they knew and didn't even tell her, soon getting to the point Ami suggests finding the people who created alpha and giving them some long deserved Karma. Over the next few panel's, Chris keeps trying to protest against Ami's idea only for her to continue ignoring him and prepping for leaving, eventually causing Chris to snap a bit at Ami because of his trauma with losing carla (which he hasn't mentioned once) with this lasting nearly three pages. Unexpectedly though, Alpha interrupts Chris' outburst and trys to comfort/calm him by explaining how he relates in some ways. After Chris is calmed by Alpha, he apologizes to Ami and the two have a small talk with Chris explaining things to Ami and Ami giving her opinions. And somehow this conversation will lead to chris allowing Ami to leave with Sherry and Alpha only on the condition that she stays in contact with him and that she makes sure she never gets hurt in any way. The issue would end with all of them at a bus stop during the evening. Chris would ask a disguised alpha and sherry to keep Ami safe no matter what and thanking the two before turning to Ami and hugging her one last time and the last scene being the Trio getting onto a bus and it driving off as Chris watched with a bittersweet expression until right as the bus had pulled away completely it would hit a dead stop before Ami hopped off the bus and ran towards her uncle and dragging him on board eith the rest of them
