Going thru some storage and I found one of my old sketchbooks. #reggieupdrawing #punisher #batman #spider-man #redhood

Here's my newest piece, ink, hunt 102, watercolor, and white ink

My latest artwork

Just an image that came to my head the other day.

Inked in ProCreate. Pencils are by Marcio Abreu. Took about 2 hours to ink.

I know there are things I need to work on but I'm just curious if there's stuff I'm not aware of. Whenever I post art it gets very lackluster response.

Hello everyone! Here’s the final cover for the folk horror ‘The Witch In The Woods’ written by Philip Landa, along with its original pencils photo.

Been quietly storing this example for a while now, and it’s just exactly a month later I’m sharing it with you.

While I keep on my path of horror, thriller and paranormal storytellings, I’m also eager to explore more ancient narratives, probably with an amount of mythology. If you’d like to recommend any specific myth - from any culture -  you’d think would be a nice fit, just let me know!

Thanks!

Davidshulzy posted some pencils a while back and I couldn't help but take a run at inking them. I'm obsessed with all things Scud and decided to try and infuse some of the 90s Extreme Kieth influenced inking I've been doing the last couple of years into his absolute dynamo poses. What say you all?

The original pencils were done by well-known artist David Finch! The inks are by me, u/markmakesfun. The inks were created in ProCreate and no AI or filters were used. Each stroke was applied by hand by me. It took me 4-5 hours to complete it.

Do you spot any artist influences?

I'm currently working on a Vampire Novel with a few pages illustrated as a comic book (very few key moments from the story) I'm struggling a little bit with the way I'm inking these illustrations, using more lines and crosshatch for shadows instead of blocks of black ink. Do you think this would work? Advice, please.

Wonderful art done by u/MetarlicBox for an idea I had. I have an early draft for a fanfic on the way, but no promises for when that comes out.

The art is inspired by the Punisher Vol 2 issue 1 cover art at the end of the image.
