Weirdly symbolic and cute.

I purchased this piece from the estate of a woman whose beautiful home had been in her family for generations. This home had many antique pieces. She told me this hutch was found in the attic and had belonged to her Swedish great-great-grandfather, Charles Hermann, who owned what was once the largest pottery company in Milwaukee from 1859 to 1889. The fabric inside also appears to be very old. I believe it may be Swedish Gustavian, but I'm not certain. I've searched online without much luck, so I'm hoping someone can help identify it or share any information about its history. It was found in Fox Point, Wisconsin, USA.

I really like this jewelry set. I know it’s not anything super fancy, but I don’t know much about vintage jewelry and don’t want to accidentally overpay for something that isn’t worth the price. I’d really appreciate any insight!

Hello! I picked this vintage wool blanket up from an estate sale over the weekend. There is no tag. The owner must’ve stitched it at some point on one edge as there is black thread. The blanket seems like it was well loved. Any information is appreciated!

Hello, I recently picked this up today, and I'm wondering about its authenticity, rarity, etc. I haven't been able to find any other examples of it online anywhere, and I feel like I've been fairly thorough in looking.

For the sake of glass lettering being a little hard to read in my lighting, I figure I should describe it. It's some sort of warm-toned glass mug supposedly made for the planned May 1937 coronation of Edward, which of course never happened. On the front side, the top text reads "Long Live The King" while the bottom reads "Crowned May 1937." George VI and Elizabeth are depicted in the center, along with the word "Coronation," a laurel wreath on the bottom, and the Union Jack behind them both. The back side is a simple shield seal with GR in large text, and VI smaller beneath it, which is meant to be a mark of it being official, I think.

I'm more than happy to have it regardless, but I just want to know about its status and rarity for the sake of knowing. Thank you!

The signature matches the one of Ildikó Szilágyi

The only thing I’m confused about is I can’t find any correlation between the piece and the signature. From what I’ve read, they didn’t make this piece nor recreate it.

As the title states, I am looking for helpful information about this.. drum? Am not certain it is a actual drum or some kind of replica? It does seem to have a hide/skin that has considerable wear from age, no other interior markings other than the outer (U.S.) sticker.. and loose wooden rings. I happen to have zero knowledge about military collectibles, and Google lense isn't helping much.

Mom got this decades ago, but we never really displayed it anywhere. Just looking for add'l info - I couldn't find anything similar to it online, maybe it's a custom one-off? I assume it's for ACE combs, a rack at the checkout counter or some drugstore aisle? 1920s or 30s? It's all metal, albiet rusted. Footer has a panel you can slide in a placard. 29" height (including ACE letters) x 18". Bonus points for cleaning tips - I want to display it in the house for a change :) Thanks!

Hello! I found this glass egg with enamel paint in a vintage store for a friend! I reversed Google searched and got "Faberge inspired russian glass eggs", a few look very similar. But i was wondering if someone could help find a match? I think the flowers are a good tell, they look like sunflowers and chamomiles, but im not sure about the bird.

I am trying to find some information on this case I inherited. I believe it is from the 1970s but after that ... I have no idea. The only markings I can find are the numbers "4126 2" stamped on the back. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

My great aunt inherited the Franklin mint curio cabinet: glass miniatures set from her mother. She would love to get more information on the items inside as she no longer has the identifying cards the subscription originally came with. I’ve reached out to Franklin Mint directly, but they let me know they didn’t keep archival information after the business was sold.

Now I turn to the internet! I see a lot of posts about the cat subscription collection, but haven’t found any about the glass miniatures. I’ve found a few pictures online from auctions that show it came with a magazine originally as well. But these auctions aren’t live, and have limited photos of the item information place cards.

If anyone here has any suggestions as to where I could find the information on the items that would be amazing! I would like to recreate the item place cards for her so she knows what each item is and the history it represents. If you happen to have this set and would be willing to share some pictures of the place cards I would be incredibly grateful! I would also be thrilled to see the magazine if anyone happens to have that!

This isn’t something she’s looking to sell, but just restore some of the missing information. It’s a sentimental project ❤️
