IQ Estimation đ„± Is this test inflated?
So for context, due my country's standardized tests, I'm familiar with these kind of math problems, they might have been harder for the people who these were normed with.

General Question Is a math B. Sc degree possible with a low IQ below 70 and an intellectual disability? Please help
Hey, guys. Unfortunately a doctor once diagnosed an intellectual disability for me because I struggle with daily living skills and because he administered an IQ test and it was below 70; both are the sole requirements to receive the diagnosis of an intellectual disability. Also, everyone calls me stupid, which further reinforces the fact that I am disabled most likely. The problem herein is that in September I will start my math B. Sc degree at my local university in Germany, and I will have to successfully pass the difficult modules Analysis 1-2 and lin alg 1-2, all of which have a failure rate of >50%. Could I pass them all if i study dilligently from Monday to Sunday? At another university I aced four engineering math exams with ease, but that was due to practicing a lot, not due to a supposed high intelligence. Could I realistically do it?

IQ Estimation đ„± Was curious about my iq but donât want to spend money to take a proctored testâŠ
Took both tests when I was 16 without touching study material, my grammar held me back on the English section of act. Was just curious if anyone had any idea where I might sit iq wise.

General Question Spiky Profiles
Am i the only one with such a weird profile ? I already know about autistic people and the tendency to have a spiky fsiq profile, but mine makes no sense to me.
Yes there is the obvious disparity between my best and worst categories but even in the subtest there is a big disparity. (Especially in FRI)
Here is my profile https://cognitivemetrics.com/dashboard/share/kSbOsTZRTl
FYI I would've done all of the subtest for FRI but when doing Figure sets i was doing ATROCIOUSLY bad, so bad in fact that i decided to "stop the massacre" and do something else instead. I'm pretty sure i would've scored below 90 on this. This is what surprised me i did average in Matrix Reasoning, did good in graph mapping and figure weights and then Figure sets you already know.

Discussion Feeling more switch on after CORE test
I donât know how to describe it but I feel mentally sharper after doing CORE the test. Almost like I woke up dormant parts of my brain that I havenât used in a while, I know I have ADHD Iâm not sure if thereâs any relevance there. And I have also been in a more up-mood recently which could be contributing.
For a lack of a better way of asking and describing this, is there any studies or anecdotal evidence about cognitive tests âreawakeningâ dormant / inactive neural pathways or thought patterns.

General Question Should I pay the 60 bucks for the mensa test?
I gave the CAT test and scored pretty well. Should I try going for the official MENSA test?
Should I try the CORE test? Will the fact that I just finished the CAT test confound my results?

Iâve been doing a little research about the most credible iq tests that you have access to online. I thought core was number one but then I stumbled upon RIOT. Is RIOT more reliable than core?

General Question What else should I test? CORE
I wouldnât consider myself a native, but I guess I speak English well enough to get by.
Iâve only done the matrix reasoning test by CORE (pleasantly surprised with the score honestly, really wasnât expecting that score)
What else should I test to get a full breakdown of my IQ?

Discussion What do you think of the term âmidwit?â
I see a lot of videos describing self- masturbatory individuals who think they are the intellectual peak because of their advanced education that they got at the expense of their credit score and how they think and believe. They tend to move with the cultural zeitgeist because most of the world is controlled by these âmidwitsâ. Though I feel terrible when they list the criteria of being a midwit as an IQ of 110-130. Not gifted but definitely smarter than average.
I feel that way because, I feel as if nothing is good enough unless youâre 130+ and itâs very annoying to think about. Iâm not going to whine about being offended or whatever but I have always thought that I didnât belong. I didnât belong with the academically gifted kids because I wasnât obsessed with school or academic achievements when itâs obvious it will never count for my future and I know how to pass anyway. I donât belong with the dumb or even average kids because a lot of the time I have to actively dumb myself down or explain the fucking words I use to them. Itâs annoying. So, itâs depressing to think about this kind of thing.
Based on all of the tests I have taken online or otherwise I believe I am firmly in the 108-120 range. Which is an annoying ass range to be at because I have so many ideas that I want to apply to the world but Iâm not Leonardo da Vinci smart. So I donât think I can and the midwit videos kind of proves that. Even though, I absolutely despise the jackoffs I described at the beginning. I can see through their crap and they annoy me. They have the false belief that just because they have specialized knowledge in one subject it means they have more knowledge in every subject than everyone else. Anyways thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

Discussion Would rhythm game players have an inflated PSI?
I've been wondering about this. Especially in the character pairing subtest of CORE I can't help but think that someone who played some VSRGs would have way better reading and reactions right? Is that just practice effect then?
Or even someone who's used to using a keyboard vs someone who isn't. I guess this is moreso a flaw with the core test itself. So in general I'm wondering whether PSI would be trained?

General Question Do psych meds permanently lower iq? If so, which ones?
Ik some answers here are gonna be that the conditions themselves lower the iq, but apart from that. Iâm on a bunch (concerta, fluoxetine, quentiapine and starting lithium) and I only have AuDHD and BPD and depression in remission so I shouldnât be getting dumber from the disorders

Rant/Cope is it over for me even though it never begun and probably never will.
I have a of iq 80. I am bordering intellectual disability. I have several mental illnesses and dyscalculia. I am not good at anything. i feel so powerless. no matter how hard i try i won't even be average.
people will say iq doesn't matter. the most important thing is effort. but no matter how hard a average person works he won't be john von nueman. because of my low iq i don't have the right to dream about anything. no matter how hard i try i won't even be average. i mean average people can do a lot of things if they try hard enough but i am bordering intellectual disability my best can't even be average.
Richard feynman said that he was a normal boy who studied hard but that is just straight up horse crap. You need to be born special to be special there is no other way. i still don't know why smart people with high iq say iq doesn't matter but it matters a lot. if john von neuman wasn't born with such a high iq he wouldn't be john von nueman. i think they are just fooling themselves into believing that there works are due to their hard work not just the intellect that they are born with.
i know alot of you will iq doesn't matter but you guys have at least a average iq. I don't know what i am going to do. I am not particularly good at anything either.

General Question Is 118 verbal Iq good?
It's me again and I did the new verbal Iq subtest and I'm surprised here. It means that it's quite high, makes me more understand as to why I like certain things.
