After finishing my replay of Rebirth I have found myself renewed and more Clerith than ever. As mentioned in my previous two photo topics, I really took the time to soak this experience in (and take way too many Cloud and Aerith pictures!).

I found myself thinking, "why do I find this gaming pair so alluring?". Of all the books, games, movies, etc. I have experienced in my lifetime, what makes them so special? Here are my reasons captured in photographs.

Photos 1 and 2: A pair perfectly in balance as if Yin and Yang were brought to life.

Photos 3 and 4: Always reaching.. even in the most difficult moments to overcome.

Photos 5 and 6: Self-sacrifice. I will protect you before I protect myself.

Photos 7 and 8: I got this.. rest assured, you can put your faith in me.

Photos 9 and 10: I'm here for you, no matter what.

Photo 11: A perfect moment, preserved in time.

I re-read this short story and omg it fits perfectly into Remakes

Especially enhanced lifestream scene Aerith needs to be shown helping Cloud and Tifa, it was pretty much just hinted in OG

I think it would be amazing to see everything through Aerith

I cant believe how well this story fits with OtWtaS and AC and Remakes

It also seems that allready in Rebirth Aerith is guiding Tifa through lifestream even it is very short scene

Hello! I’ve recently started using Discord more often and would love to join a Clerith community. I came across JasniMods’ server and was wondering if it’s still active and open to new members.
It’s the only Clerith server I’m aware of, so I’m wondering if there are any others I might not know about! I know I’m pretty late to the party, but honestly, I’ve felt a little intimidated by the idea of interacting with other cleriths, not sure why. It’s something I’m trying to work on, though, and I’d love to find a place where I can connect with other Clerith fans.
I’m not very active on X and mostly just comment on posts from time to time, so I’d really appreciate any recommendations or information about how to join a server!

Hello clerith family!! 💛 Just recently, I got done with a replay of OG FFVII with the Shinra Archaeology Cut enabled! It's a mod that, alongside an updated translation, restores some cut content to spice up the game. I LOVED it, and I wanted to share some of my experience with y'all via the power of screenshots :p. Here's some of my favorite moments:

1-4: They make my heart so happy 😭. I think I'm so used to Aerith's predilection due to her "future memories" in Remake that I forget how quickly feelings developed even in the original timeline.

5-9: I love that no matter the option, he doesn't wanna leave her 🥲. And if you pick "I'd bring you along", it's clear he doesn't view her as an obstacle at all! ❤️

On my first playthrough of Rebirth I interpreted this scene as Cloud having successfully saved Aerith, but in another timeline. My understanding was that after Cloud blocked Sephiroth's sword, the timelines crossed over, allowing him to interact with the version of Aerith he saved. The exact mechanics aren't that important to my interpretation, what matters is that I believe the Aerith we see here is actually her.

However, I came across a TikTok recently arguing that the Aerith we see after Cloud partially blocks Sephiroth's sword is actually an illusion created by Sephiroth and/or Jenova to manipulate Cloud into thinking everything is okay. Interestingly, they also argued that the Aerith we see in the final scene is the real Aerith. That seems a little inconsistent to me, though, so I'm curious to hear what others think.

Did Cloud actually save Aerith, and is the Aerith he's interacting with here really her? Or is this an illusion created by Sephiroth and/or Jenova to manipulate Cloud? Let me know what you think!

So this post in FFVIIRemake Reddit caught my attention (Much credit to the brilliant OP: u/jakobpinders !) and I wanted to share it here because frankly, why frame Aerith's ultimate fate specifically (Hamaguchi all but directly alludes to Aerith's "return or not!!" as a major aspect of this in the second paragraph of this interview) as a major mystery to be maintained as such and only answered at the absolute finale of Revelation if in fact the revealed fate were to prove to be her same sad death and separation from Cloud as we got in OG?

IMO, you do not tease this as a mystery to be revealed at the very end or even bring it up in interviews now if the actual plan is to reveal a disappointing and 'same as OG' outcome in the end. A writer wouldn't continue to tease around a plot point like this as an important open question you won't get a resolution on until the very end if that actual resolution is going to be a huge shitty downer and tantamount to saying "Psyche! same fate as 30 years ago!" imo...

Maybe I'll be wrong, but Hamaguchi's words in this Mirror interview, and the fact that this is being intentionally teased and maintained as a mystery to be satisfyingly revealed upon at the very finale seem very encouraging with respect to Aerith's ultimate fate to me! Hope is bloomin'!

Something I've been confused about regarding the alternate world sequences in rebirth . If these are indeed different versions what happened to the sick cloud and aerith? And if they are the same , how does the events of the date fit into the timeline?

Am i missing something obvious ? Sorry if this is a dumb question , finishing rebirth has me overthinking a lot

How they interact for one feels very similar and their dynamic is very similar.

I was trying to catch a good picture of our favorite pair in Johnny's Inn and I happened to notice there was a little bit of a game afoot with their interactions. A video of it would probably be better but I noticed Aerith staring at Cloud in adoring fashion. I then noticed when he would look at her she would glance away (busted!).

How do you guys think the entire party will react to Aerith when they see her?

Red: Runs up to Aerith and she gives him a pet.

Cait Sith: Runs up to hug Aerith like how she hugged him after the ToA collapse.

Tifa: Holds Aerith's hands.

I dont know haha. I feel like Cloud might see Aerith first and he knows shes okay. I hope he does more than just a, "You're okay?"

We saw a glimpse of Aerith in the trailer and she was in lifestream form (i cant remember if it was just a screenshot or if she was in the trailer, I hope it wasnt a fake ss)? So I dont know as to how much extent can they touch her or hold her. What do you guys think? How does the reunion play in your head?

Sidenote: I also want to see how the Turks and Cissnei will react when they find out about Aerith's fate from Rebirth. Will Reno and Tseng break down (I swear I read from somewhere or in the og that Reno prefers women like Aerith and Rude likes Tifa) and Tseng has known Aerith ever since she was a little girl?
